Adonis is great. This full-day tour is everything I hoped for in a one day layover in San Salvador. We went to three Mayan sites (Joya de Cerén, San Andres, Tazumal) and had lunch at a view restaurant overlooking Lago de Coatepeque, in between the last two. All these sites are enclosed in parks with flowers and birds and paths and (especially Tazumal) families enjoying Sunday afternoon. Adonis pointed out and named some birds and flowers. (We are easily distracted.) I highly recommend this company and this guide.

I had the absolute best time taking this tour! My guide, Benjamin, was very kind and personable. He had extensive knowledge of all of the sites and really went out of his way to make sure that I was taken care of. It was very cool learning about the history behind each site, especially Joya De Ceren. I highly recommend! Visit El Salvador!

Amazing customer service! Antonio was an exceptionally knowledgeable guide, who made us feel at safe and at home. The tour was very well planned out and he even accommodated a few stops for me to buy treats I was craving. I will definitely return and use this tour company, there’s so much to see in this beautiful country.

Just the best. Ask for Eduardo for your tour, he knows an amazing amount of Mayan culture and Salvadorean history. Vitello was fanstastic as well on my tour to Copan. Incredibly helpful before the trip with forms and questions as well as during. Price was extremely reasonable. A good tour company can make or break your trip and these guys are a great company.

Good morning and thank you for your message.
We are sorry this happend to you but the closure of the mayan sites is not in our control.
We did send you an email as we did with all the guests traveling with us that will be affected by this change by the Ministrt of Culture.
It is unfortunate you did not see this notificaron on time and that you were not able to communicate with us to look for possible alternatives for Joya de Cerén.
Joya de Cerén will re open again in 6 months if you are just interesed in this mayan site. All the other sites are open with no problem.

Wonderful tour including Joya de Ceren, Tazumal and San Andre's. Benjamin was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend this tour and specifically Benjamin as a guide. The company was San Salvador Tours.
