Plitvice Lakes National Park Small-Group Day Trip from Split
US$77.35
Overview
Pack in a full overview of Croatia's natural beauty on this guided hiking tour of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Visit the park’s waterfalls and enjoy a lake cruise and scenic tram ride, with plenty of photo opportunities along the way. Save time by letting a guide take care of the itinerary and navigating the large park’s hiking trails. After the tour is over, purchase a Croatian-style lunch at a local restaurant.
What to Expect
Get an early start with a morning pickup from your central Split hotel. From there, hop inside a minivan and meet your small group for the drive to Plitvice.

Arrive at the park and begin a hike along the boardwalk. As you walk around the park, stop for photo ops of the lakes, waterfalls, and canyons. Make your way to Upper Lakes and get close to wildlife like brown bears, mink, or wild boar—if you’re lucky.

Your guide waits at checkpoints, ensuring a healthy pace and that no one is left behind.

Then, take a sightseeing cruise around the Lower Lakes, passing towering Veliki Slap waterfall, Croatia’s largest. Then, take a scenic tram ride back to park entrance.

Opt for a Croatian-style lunch at a local restaurant (own expense) before the journey back to Split. End the tour with a drop-off at your hotel.

Itinerary:
07:15 – 07:30 Pick up and departure from Split

11:30 – 15:30 Full guided tour of National Park

16:00 – 17:00 Free time for lunch

20:00 – 20:30 Arrival in Split

Agree with Dennis. One does walk quite a long way. They said 7 km but not sure if that included the bus from one point to another one in the park.

If i recall ,well it should take anything between 2 and a half to 3 hours ,on the coach ,with a stop in between for about 20 minutes.
