Small speed boat that takes you up to see the sights, with some interesting facts about the places too.
It was a brilliant trip to see the Lady of the Rocks and the little town of Preast. It wasn’t that busy when we went at 1.00 so ended up having the boat just to us. George our boat driver was amazing! Took loads of photos for us and was a good vibe, as well as telling us loads of interesting facts! We had a brilliant time.

Great choice for a short boat tour
We chose a private boat tour and it was a perfect fit for the three of us. Our skipper Leo was on the top of his duty to keep us entertained and provide an overall great experience.

The whole experience was fantastic, the lady who took our booking was friendly and helpful.
When we were on the boat the skipper was amazing, he made sure that everyone was comfortable, gave us lots of interesting information, and he was friendly and professional.
We were lucky with the weather; after a week of endless rain, we were even able to swim at the blue cave!
The views are just extraordinary, I would definitely recommend a trip to anyone that visits Kotor, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with Montenegro Submarine again.

I signed up for this as I thought it would be fun to see the bay of Kotor. However I got cold feet when I realized part of the trip is in the sea and I’m afraid of choppy water. Eno, our captain, immediately put me at ease. Not only was he not worried about the water (great weather day) but he frequently checked on me as we went to be sure I was ok.

I also don’t usually feel comfortable swimming in the sea but, what the heck, since I survived the boat ride, I jumped in!

Eno and Love were our crew and both are unbelievably nice and caring and professional. We didn’t get to swim in the blue cave entrance but as it’s not yet regulated how many boats can enter, it didn’t look pleasant anyway with so many other boats in there. The spot we went just outside the cave was lovely anyway!

Really neat to see the Lady Of The Rock and hear that story too. Only bummer was their bathroom was closed for some reason. Make sure to use the bathroom before you set sail as it’s 3 hours and you might not have another chance before returning.

I also appreciated Eno telling us some of the history around Lady of The Rock and the submarine “garages” and hilarious when he played James Bond music to enter.

Amazing trip and I loved it! As good as all the reviews say even if you’re a bit afraid of choppy water. 😄 Thank you Eno and Love!

At the last minute, my wife and I decided to take the 3 hour boat tour of the Bay of Kotor. Our captain Goran was very knowledgeable, friendly, and a very good captain. As part of the tour, we spent 20+ minutes at Our Lady of the Rocks, went into a Yugoslav era submarine tunnel, went by Mamula Island, and spent time boating through and then swimming in the Blue Cave. The trip was awesome!! Goran played a mix of great music during our trip and made sure that we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We're very happy that we took this trip and we certainly feel that we got our money's worth from the trip.

Great tour, tons of fun! We picked this tour over our cruise ships identical excursion and were thrilled with our decision. The price was 1/5 of what the cruise ship charged for a nearly identical itinerary. Captain Eno started the tour with his curated play list which added to the fun atmosphere. The boat was high end and appeared to be new. The tour was first class and a highlight of our trip. Swimming in the blue cave is not to be missed. Glad we had a fast speed boat as it is a good distance from the cruise ship docking area. No time was wasted getting there or back because of the speed of our boat.

Stunning landscapes in a comfortable ride. Eno was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Loved his songs playlist.

We entered inside a cave and the water is spectacular. Most beautiful turquoise shade I have seen.

Piece of advice: wear warm clothes and it gets very cold and windy.

Entrance at the Lady of the Rocks church and museum costs €2.

Eno and Lav where the best crew for this boat tour ! They always have a good story to share about each stop point, the history of Kotor and surroundings, and the country. Special mention for the music ! And the theme picked as we enter the submarine and the blue cave. Which was mastered by Eno even tho it was really choppy. The price is worth the time on board, well organized, get in and out of the boat was easy, and the view you get is gorgeous. Thanks again it was perfect 😁

We were excited to see some of the sights on this tour, but it was a bit of a let down. The first stop on the tour was the Lady of the Rocks which is a small church on a tiny island in the bay. In our case, arriving by cruise ship, we had already seen it on our way in and had a great view. Once at the actual island, it was overflowing with tourists and we were warned that the bathroom there would be the last one available for the remainder of the tour (understandable when on a small boat) but waiting in line to use the bathroom used up most of the time there.

The drive out to the Blue Cave was about 40-45 minutes and to even out the weight in the boat, my husband and I were separated so less enjoyable because we couldn't talk over the wind noise. The cave did indeed have very blue water, but there were soooo many boats in there, it wasn't safe to get out and swim there, so we moved out of the cave and had about 15 minutes to swim outside the cave. Very cold water (and we are from the Seattle area). It was a little frustrating that the assistant on the boat, didn't help with getting passengers back up on board. He spent the majority of the trip on his cell phone.

Boat ride back was about an hour. Total of about 3 hours. While we got a little bit of history, it was mostly minimal. In retrospect, we would have rather spent more time exploring the city or climbing up to some of the spectacular walled areas about it.

We're genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. While we understand your disappointment, it's important to note that the popularity of certain attractions, like Our Lady of the Rocks, can lead to crowds. We acknowledge that waiting in line for the restroom impacted your time there. The itinerary, including the visit to Our Lady of the Rocks, is designed to showcase the beauty of the region. Thus we have all details outlined so that are guest would know what they are going to visit and see during tour - and to avoid in that surprises like in your case it was. The Blue Cave is a renowned attraction, and its popularity does result in crowded periods. Safety is our priority, and the limitations on swim time are in consideration of the conditions. We apologize for any frustration caused by the skipper's attention during the trip. Your feedback is valuable, and we appreciate your perspective. We'll take your comments into account for future improvements. If you decide to explore again, we hope to provide a more satisfying experience. Best regards

After 20 cruises and many excursions all over the world, this excursion is our family’s top 2. Captain Eno and first mate Neno provided an amazing experience.

The ship was new and well cared for. The ride to the Blue Cave was smooth and the views of the ocean, mountains and cities were mesmerizing.

Entering the Blue Caves was out of this world. The sun from outside the cave hitting the water accentuates the blue and the cave feels like another planet. When my daughter jumped in the water, the bubbles looked like the water flowed around her, like it was bioluminescent.

Do not miss this tour. It was a once in a lifetime experience. When you are booking, ask for Eno and Neno. Also, we saved $100 per person booking directly through the company and not through the cruise line.

What a brilliant boat trip and way to spend your time in Kotor! We loved our time on board and thought it was one of the best ways to see the glorious Bay of Kotor and surrounding areas. The boat itself is very impressive and does travel at some speed, so be warned if you get easily sea sick. The music played (from what looked like the captain's own playlist) was fantastic and added to the whole experience for us. Captain Eno was a personal highlight, he was welcoming, friendly and hilarious, making sure everyone felt at home and at ease on his boat. Loved the Our Lady of the Rocks, such a cute little church to explore. The submarine tunnels were surprisingly really cool as well, but maybe that was the music that Captain Eno accompanied with our entrance to the tunnels. We finally finished our trip at the Blue Cave, which was quite busy (due to the height of the summer holidays), but absolutely lovely to get off the boat and have a bit of a swim around and cool off.

The only reason why I've not given this 5* is because I personally found the organisation of getting onboard the boat at the beginning of the trip quite chaotic. Even though the ladies dealing with us were very pleasant and lovely, the whole thing just felt disorganised. Also, we would have loved a bit more time at Our Lady of the Rock, we only got 15 minutes, which is a bit of a rush to explore the church and the island.
