After pickup at your Dubai hotel or another designated location, venture south by air-conditioned minivan to the UAE capital city of Abu Dhabi, hearing about its history and highlights en route.   • Lunch not included - you will be given time for lunch at Marina Mall, Carrefour or Food court OR The full Corniche view restaurant (at your own expense). Restaurants will not be available during the month of Ramadan, so it is recommended to carry some snacks with you.
  • On Fridays opens from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm and will be closed some certain dates and announcement of these days mostly few days before only, also it is not possible to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque during any Islamic festival.
  • Mosques Dress Code. Mosques have very strict dress codes, when visiting; Women must wear long loose clothing, insure their arms and legs are fully covered. Women are also required to their heads at all times. However, if needed the company will provide long-local Abaya with a scarf (long black dress-attire) which must be returned back. Men must not show above their knees and cover their shoulders. Failure to do so will result in refused entry. Company does not provide any kind of clothes to men. Tattoos are to be covered.
  • Qasr Al Watan may be closed during the presidential events but will be replaced with Qasr Al Hosn or Heritage Village (whichever available on that day)
  • There is a shuttle bus service to the entrance from the main gate of the palace.
  • Guided tours are not allowed within the palace; your guide will narrate important information about the palace before the visit.
  • It is not recommended to book this tour on a Friday if you have a return flight on that day as the drop-off time is dependent on traffic and can not be guaranteed
  • The pickup time will be from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. Please be ready at the hotel lobby by 8:00 AM. On Fridays, you will be picked up from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM

Overall, a very convenient way to visit Abu Dhabi. Hotel pick-up and drop-off was great as was the inclusion of all site entry fees and our guide. My only recommendation to folks who take the tour is to avoid the buffet lunch restaurant at all costs. It seems to be the common restaurant multiple tour companies utilize. As a result, it can be very crowded and chaotic and result in poor food and service. It's basically a small cafeteria with limited seating and no servers. All (and I mean all) of the food was cold and many buffet dishes were empty. As far as we could find, there were no drink options other than water. Even water was difficult to get but we finally received some after we were done eating. I'm assuming the tour companies must receive some sort of referral/kick-back incentive to use the location. You're better off being dropped at the mall food court (the only other option).

An unforgettable and awe inspiring trip to Abu Dhabi
Our guide Ziad was friendly, knowledgeable and well organised. We were promptly picked up from our hotel. We visited Qasr al Watan, incredible, then the Etihad Towers , spectacular views, and finally the Grand Mosque, beautiful. Ziad gave us a recommendation for lunch at the Kazan Gourmet Restaurant where we ate local dishes at a reasonable price. Ladies were able to borrow appropriate attire for the mosque visit. The whole day was fantastic we really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. We were dropped off back at our hotel. A great tour- 5 stars for organisation!

Abu Dhabi Small Group Tour from Dubai (English)
I would highly recommend this cultural day tour from Dubai as the group was small at 15 people, very clean air conditioned bus, large windows with curtains for shade, lots of bottled water and a very informative and knowledgeable guide.
Our tour guide Latif (Rafik ?) from OceanAir and his driver were wonderful. We were picked up from our hotel in Dubai on time at 8:00 am, within and hour we were in cultural Abu Dhabi. Our first stop was the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, at which point our guide provided long burkas for those of us who didn’t have correct attire. He cleverly guided us through the Mosque stopping at all the highlights and avoiding all the long queues which could have been very time consuming. The Grand Mosque is absolutely breathtaking with the many chandeliers and Persian carpets. Then off to the Emirates Palace where everything that looks gold is gold. Plenty of free time to tour the Presidential Palace. A delicious Arabic buffet lunch was leisurely enjoyed at a restaurant over looking the Marina at our own expense. From here we zoomed off to the Etihad Tower 2, level 74 which has a lookout with 360 degrees city views and a restaurant, plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. Our driver then whisked us back to Dubai in time for dinner. Thank you to our amazing tour guide for this very informative tour!

A great trip to Abu Dhabi
Our tour guide was Ziad. He was very professional in communicating pick up arrangements. The process went super smooth.

Ziad was very knowledgeable about the attractions and also gave us the interesting background of UAE’s formation and it’s development onwards. I learned a lot from him. Among the attractions, he also optimized the sequence and minimized the waiting time for us. He was a guide who knew his field very well.

Highly recommend him to everyone who likes to visit Abu Dhabi.

Spend a little more for a custom tour—- EXCELLENT!!!
We were 6 adults staying in Dubai and wanted a full day tour of Abu Dhabi. After the tour, 2 people were to be dropped off at Abu Dhabi airport (with luggage) and the other 4 dropped off back at our original Dubai hotel pickup. From the moment I dealt with OceanAir they were spectacular! I think their slogan should be ‘no problem!’ We saw EVERYTHING we wanted to see (and then some) and our guide, Shan, was the absolute BEST! His English was perfect, I was traveling with 5 Brazilians and they understood every word of his English. (Trust me, this is not easy, we have traveled all over the world together and my friends, who understand English, usually ask me ‘what did the guide say?’; not so with Shan! Also, he didn’t ramble on, he gave you the facts, As a matter of fact you can ask him anything and he was quite knowledgeable about History, Architecture, Religion, Pop Culture, etc. Everyone thought he was one of the best guides we had in any country. Also since there were 2 seniors in our group Shan made sure he dropped us off the closest he could to the exhibits and if there were golf carts available he made sure we rode on them instead of walking a long distance.
Also, the covering the women had to wear to enter the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which was furnish by OceanAir was very stylish, the women in our group were quite pleased (some of the other tour groups’ looked awful.)
To sum up the experience: 5 Star service from OceanAir, from the booking processes (extremely accommodating); to customizing our tour to exactly what we wanted and deleting what we didn’t want; to the pickup (right on time); to a GREAT guide, to drop off in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Ideal way to see Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi has quite a view opulent sites that are a must see. The small group format is ideal and allows for maximal use of time (and none wasted waiting for others) and allows you to see things you would not be able to in a large bus tour.

Riz was a great guide who shared a lot of information about the UAE on the way there and about the sites he saw. OceanAir overall was very professional and communicated details in advance and were quick to respond to questions. Highly recommended!

Amazing time at Abu Dhabi day trip

My wife and I did the Abu Dhabi day trip from Dubai during our honeymoon stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the day! The three stops we did were the Grand Mosque, Etihad Towers and the Royal Palace. The day was really made by our tour guide Paulo! From the bus ride to Abu Dhabi, he was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. He does a great job of making everyone in the group feel welcomed and included. He has a wealth of knowledge on all the places you visit and can answer any questions you have as well. Paulo is more than just a pretty face... he is the BEST photographer! He took so many great pics that are now lifetime memories for us - including the group pic at the Royal Palace included in this review. Again, above all else he is a great tour guide but the great photos are an added perk. My wife and I could not be happier with our experience and highly recommend the OceanAir day tour. Ask for Paulo! :)

An efficient way to discover Abhu dhabi! small group well organised.

Pick up at the hotel direction Abhu Dhabi , the guide explained us the information ahead, just before arriving in each sites, we were explained all the main aspects to focus on, and then get bespoke answer to any particular query within the tour!
A millimitric organisation which allow us to get effiecient visit, and get the most of it!

Thanks to Ziad our guide who did make a real difference, his network did allow us to speed-up the queue line, and also avoid the dubai traffic on the return, (game changer when you are visiting).

Abu Dhabi full day tour from Dubai best with Ziad!!
Book nothing but through Ocean Air!! This company was in the ball from contacting us the night before to being on time for pick up to a knowledgeable and informative tour guide. Mohammad Ziad was informative, approachable, organized and proactive. He made sure the women were dressed according to mosque standards. He knew where best picture were to be taken, HE assisted in taking quick beautiful lasting picture. He is an asset to this company. Thank you Ziad. I would highly recommend this tour company!!

Awesome half day trip!

Great half day trip! Everything was performed in a timely manner including pickups and drop offs. Mohamed Ali was our tour guide and did an excellent job showing us around the beautiful mosque and explaining the Emirates culture and history of Dubai and Abu Dhabi! He also pointed out sights along the way and answered all our questions. He’s also a great photographer!! I highly recommend using him as a guide and booking with OceanAir. Even the shuttle drivers from the hotels were informative. Firos, did a great job in showing us some more sights as well and offering advice.
