Luis was the perfect driver. I highly recommend hiring Luis for any excursion you are planning. He was both honest and trustworthy. If I was traveling back to Cartagena, I would hire him again. Luis provided an all day driving service to us, and transport back to the airport on our departure day. Our day trip included transport to Pallenque with a follow-on stint to the mud volcanoes. If you plan on visiting both, I recommend you book a driver as the most economical way of seeing these locations. Once again, Luis is your man for safe travels in and around Cartagena.

We took a tour with Luis Eduardo that was a VIP tour. At Banana beach we were treated extremely well including cleaning the feet in our way back to the car. Fresh snapper fried was for lunch and was delicious. We never encounter a driver/guide so knowledgeable , friendly and caring. Thanks Luis Eduardo for everything you did for us. We took a tour with Luis Eduardo that was a VIP one. A boat was waiting for us at Baru to take us to banana beach which is the name of the shop in playa Blanca Relax turquoise water . At our request they move a table into the beach and we ate a fresh fried snapper with coconut rice super yummy and fried plantains which is a Colombian dish Back to the car a guy from banana beach washed our feet full of sand That was a very nice surprise. I strongly recommend VIP Service Luis Eduardo was above and beyond expectations

We went to Colombia for a week with a group of 8 people. We wanted to ensure that we had our transportation planned. Luis and his team were very reliable! The vehicles were clean and for the most part the drivers were good. The service is a little more expensive than others but there is value in having your transportation planned when you have a larger group. Luis coordinate our pick up at the airport, taking us to Barranguilla, then returning us to Cartagena. He also arrange for a boat to take us to the Rosario Islands and bring the group back to the airport upon our return.

We were delighted with tour guided by the friendly and competent uncle - nephew duo of Luis and George. For us this was a cruise excursion just for a couple of hours, as our ship was in port for only half a day. No problem with communications beforehand or meeting up with the guys, who were right on time. Luis and George are natives to Cartagena, take great pride in their city, and know it well. They were flexible about taking us to places we wanted (coffee!) and skipping places we didn't (jewelry). This was a terrific introduction to the city, and we enjoyed our too-short time with these great guys. Muchas gracias! One note, as others have pointed out. The car Luis drove was a basic Renault. Executive car? As George said, "To us, this is an executive car." Okay, fair enough. But expect Uber X quality, not Uber Black. It didn't matter to us, and in fact was more practical for getting around the city. Just setting expectations.

From the start Mr. Luis promptly responded to WhatsApp questions, and then sent an invoice for the 50% deposit The day before pick-up and transfer from Barranquilla to Cartagena he sent the drivers name and cell, license plate and photo of the car. Carlos was waiting for us as we exited the airport to safely transport us in a large vehicle which we requested and was also owned by Carlos We used Carlos again to return to Cartagena airport early in the morning and were very happy with the services provided by both Mr. Luis and Carlos

It was a great trip. Great communication He was on time, got me to where I had to go safely I have no complaints at all..would definitely use them again

My boyfriend, my friends and me all agree that Luis is an incredible driver and tour guide! Luis was recommended to me in 2023 by a friend from the U.S. who now lives in Cali, Colombia and who is one of Luis’ regular clients. I spent the first half of my time in Cartagena alone, and as a female solo traveler during my first trip to Colombia, I was glad to have Luis pick me up from the airport. it was pouring rain on the day of my arrival and there were many people asking for money outside the airport. This could have been an overwhelming arrival without Luis. When my boyfriend arrived a week later, Luis also waited for him at the airport even though his flight was delayed and then he was stuck in long lines at customs. During my trip in 2023, Luis took me on a city tour, accompanied me to Banana Beach in the islands, and more. Again, as a female solo traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe with Luis. He also recommended many day trips, local beaches and islands that are better than what the vendors are pushing. My boyfriend and me returned to Cartagena in 2024 and the first step of planning our trip was texting Luis on What’s App to find out if he was available to drive us for longer distances (he can bring you to Playa Mancanillo, Barranquilla, etc.) and to make additional recommendations. He definitely provides VIP service and works around your schedule and the things you want to do. We highly recommend Luis!

Gorge and Luis did a great job. We saw different parts of the city, including a walk through Getsemani, the walled city, and a last minute trip to the La Popa. It is really a basic “intro” to Cartagena tour at a relatively low price. This tour does not include any of the “paid” places that may be included in other city tours, like La Popa or the fort. We only visited La Popa because I insisted. Also, the name of the tour is a bit misleading. The vehicle we were driven in was not an executive vehicle by any means of the word. Lol That said, Gorge was accommodating to all of our “side quest” and he speaks great English. If I would change anything, I’d eliminate the time spent at the emerald store. We could have spent this time at the fort. The emerald store was essentially a sales presentation. Anyway, if you’re looking for a low-budget driving tour around the city, this tour is what you’re looking g for.

The driver was nice, but he was late picking us up. We stood outside the airport for 20 minutes waiting for him to arrive.

Flight was late but we were still picked up as scheduled. Sign with my name outside the exit of the airport. Friendly driver.

Brilliant! Reconfirmed with them via Whats App in the lead up. All locked in. Flew into Cartegana and it took over TWO HOURS for people to get through the first step of Immigration. But the driver waited for me and was ready to go when I eventually got out. Only had to a small additional charge for the extra wait time. But it was worth it to have a driver waiting for me and taking me straight to my accomm in a lovely air-conditioned van.

VIP was an amazing car and tour service. From pick up to drop off and everything in between, our guide Louis felt like family. Communication was clear, recommendations were great and the excursions were a once in a lifetime experience.

There was no communication from the host on how to redeem our voucher. I ended up paying for a taxi at the airport but I did get a full refund.
