We started our tour with a guided tour of the coffee and tea plantations consumed here in Bali including the Balinese coffee and the famous Luwak Coffee, as a second stop we reached the monkey forest where Eka our guide allowed us to speed up the entrance. Third stop we went to artisans who carve wood by hand where it is also possible to buy sculptures. Our fourth stop was Tegenungan waterfalls where you can take beautiful photos and bathe under the waterfall. Fifth stop, the rice fields, here too our guide Eka helped us speed up the entrance. Last stop was the Batuan temple, very characteristic and felt by the inhabitants of Ubud. Finally I would like to compliment Eka for his patience, his smile and the kindness he had towards us helped us have a great experience and he was always available to take some photos or videos. Ps he is good and imaginative in this field too.

The only one spot we would have chosen to skip is the Alas Kedaton monkey temple - there were not many monkeys there and the local guide at the monkey temple forced us to buy souvenirs at unreasonable prices. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience. Would recommend if you want to visit Tanah Lot temple in Bali!

We visited Bali Waterfalls, Dika was on time, I like he is well organized explaining exactly the itinerary for the trip, still he was flexible if we had any requests, brought us water and is a good driver.
More than that, he accompanied us and shared us a little from the history of Bali and the best part of the tour he immortalizes the best shots for pictures, really doing it great.

Our guide was Komang, he was absolutely fabulous. Our
trip consisted of three waterfalls and a rice terrace. We had seen one of the falls and the terrace so Komang changed that waterfall to another and added an additional one since we already visited the terrace. He took many photos for us and talked about many traditions in Bali. Lunch was included but I wanted to try their pork dish which was not on the menu. Komang went out of his way to get me this dish. His English was wonderful and he kept us in discussions during the entire trip. I cannot recommend him enough!!!! He was a perfect 10! Thank you for making our trip fun.

Our driver, and extraordinary tour guide, Dana was amazing. He went above and beyond on our trip, we booked him for the waterfall tour. Dana’s driving was impeccable, the best we’ve seen in Bali so far, giving us a relaxed and pleasant ride, he went out of his way to take photos in the best spots and give us an in-depth explanation of all the waterfalls and landmarks on the drive to each of them.
Dana also took us to the white water rafting, which was amazing and we wouldn’t have known about without him, at no extra charge even though it added an extra 3 hours onto our day. After 2 hours on the river, Dana had lunch already order and waiting for us when we got in, and it was brilliant.
Due to us planning for the waterfalls we didn’t take enough rupiah so Dana offered to pay and that we payed him back later, which was greatly appreciated!!
Overall our experience was the best we’ve had in Bali and it will be sad to see him go as we’re going to Canggu tomorrow but we wish Dana all the best and can’t recommend using him enough.
Thanks again to Dana, we hope to see him next time we visit👍👍

I went on a solo trip to see the waterfalls, my guide was Dika. I got some great photos of the morning sun rays coming down into a little secluded cave with the waterfall behind, showered in one of the smaller waterfalls and swam in the little pool at the base of the 2nd waterfall we went to. The last one was the most popular so a lot of people but dry season is the best time to go there (when I went).
The guide was great, got me some good photos, provided water during the drive & helped me with my stuff up all the stairs. There’s a LOT of stairs, you’re gonna get fit… or puffed.

My husband and I had the best day with Ma-de! He was very knowledgeable of each location and the best photographer! He let us spend as much time as we wanted for pictures and he knew the perfect spots for all pictures. He heard I really loved coffee and took us to a coffee plantation that was not even on our itinerary. And he even stopped at an electronic store At the end of our trip to help us find a converter, which he did not have to do! 10/10 recommend you take a tour and ask for Ma-de, you will not be disappointed.

Our driver/guide for the day was Ma-de, a very knowledgeable and friendly guy who made the day extra special in so many ways.
Our day started with an 08:00 pick up from the hotel to beat the crowds at the 3 waterfalls we were booked to visit. Each waterfall had it’s own charm and natural beauty and Ma-de knew just where and how to take the perfect photo &/or video, giving us the perfect reminders of our day.
Whilst travelling between the waterfalls Ma-de was full of interesting and informative information about the local traditions and family life of the villages, towns and countryside we passed through. We even stopped and had lunch at a family run warung and as he knew the family well we were shown round their family compound and saw how the suckling pig we ate was prepared, as well as the family’s private temples and living quarters.
We had extended our tour to include a visit to a rice terrace and a Bali swing and as an added bonus we also stopped at a coffee plantation. Again each was special in their own unique way, although the swing was a little daunting at first sight if I’m honest.
We arrived back at our hotel some nine and a half hours after being picked up after experiencing a truly memorable day that will live long in our memories.

We really enjoyed our trip with Leo to the waterfalls and rice terraces of Ubud. Leo was very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to with excellent English. As well as the waterfalls he took us to some great places after hearing about our interests. One was a really huge and wonderful gallery selling a wide range of Balinese art and not the kind of thing you see in Ubud. The other was a lawak ( civet) coffee plantation where we got to sample about 15 interesting local herbal tea and coffee brews, which was fascinating . There was no hard sell here - he just took us where we wanted to go, he wasn’t tied to any rigid itinerary and he knew exactly where the best places were.
Make sure you ask him to take you for suckling pig - this is a delicious Balinese favourite and the large outdoor eatery we went to was full of locals who flock there from miles around (we were the only tourists in sight).

I had a wonderful tour with Benik, and I must say, he was incredibly knowledgeable. The atmosphere was truly relaxed, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Benik's calm and unhurried approach ensured that he took the time to showcase every detail. Great experience if you’re looking for a helpful tour guide and photographer for the waterfalls! You must get Ma-de as the driver with HBD (Hire Bali Drivers) as he is so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout your tour. He will tell you as much as you want to know about not only your locations but along the way throughout your journey as well.
We left our hotel and got picked up at 7:30 AM - highly recommend leaving early as you can beat all the foot traffic and long lines waiting for pictures. We got to the waterfalls at a great time before big crowds of people leaving this early from Ubud downtown area. We basically had the places for ourselves! We got to spend as much time enjoying and taking pictures as we wanted at the waterfalls.
I recommend getting lunch at Tibumana either before or after the waterfall. Great option of food/drink in a cute cafe with good ambiance. We could also overlook people working in the rice fields collecting rice by hand!
Definitely get the Bali rice terrace swing as well! Great group of people working there and BEAUTIFUL pictures/videos with the jungle Bali swing!
We also were able to stop for Luwak coffee at a coffee plantation on our way between waterfalls. They gave a great tour of how they make their coffee and give you a sample test of their many coffees/teas as well.
This company and their drivers seriously know what they’re doing. They are professional, kind, and so willing to share their culture with you.
Get some great photos/videos and save these memories from your time in Ubud!

Definitely get the Bali rice terrace swing as well! Great group of people working there and BEAUTIFUL pictures/videos with the jungle Bali swing!
We also were able to stop for Luwak coffee at a coffee plantation on our way between waterfalls. They gave a great tour of how they make their coffee and give you a sample test of their many coffees/teas as well.
This company and their drivers seriously know what they’re doing. They are professional, kind, and so willing to share their culture with you.
Get some great photos/videos and save these memories from your time in Ubud!

Don’t go chasing waterfalls… unless it’s with Leo! A knowledgeable, friendly, and funny guide, Leo felt more of a longtime friend than a stranger during our 8 hour private tour with him. Our drives consisted of conversation about Balinese culture, his family, and our recent wedding. We explored the Monkey Forest and the Tegenungan, Tibumana, and Kanto Lampo waterfalls, stopping at an open air restaurant for suckling pig with the locals. This wasn’t the original itinerary, but we decided with Leo that switching up one of the waterfalls was more of what we wanted to do. We had plenty of time at each stop for pictures and to swim at the Tegenungan and Tibumana waterfalls. The line at Kanto Lampo can be quite long, but the wait is worth it. Such an awesome experience!!

Pick up in Ubud what time pick up and finish?

We had a little flexibility. I think we agreed to be picked up at 8:30am and ended around 4:30. We added the swing to the agenda (which was optional) so that added a little time.
as a solo traveller will i still be part of a group ? Is this a bus tour or private car ? I would like a group tour

We will suggest for kids minimum 9 years old. But, if your child is fit enough to do walking to the waterfalls then it is ok. They are free to join the tour but any cost happened will be parent’s costs.
