    Best Tour of Ubud with DEDE, the best guide!
    I’m not normally big on tours but I am so happy my friend talked me into this one! What a beautiful day we had seeing the sites, learning about Balinese people, culture, and getting a bit of the history with our amazing guide Dede. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, professional and accommodating. We were moving from our hotel in Ubud to Canggu and we were able to bring our luggage and have Dede drop us off in Canggu at the end of the tour. He made sure that we and our belongings were always safe. He has such great energy and we had so much fun! I highly recommend visiting all of the spots we visited: Monkey Forest Tengungan Waterfall D’Alas Restaurant & amazing swing Rice Terrace Pura Titra Water Temple Everything is included. He’ll take lots of photos of you & make pit stops whenever you need to. He’ll make sure you don’t get ripped off if you want to shop. Today was definitely the highlight of our trip thus far and that is saying a lot!

    Book the Best of Ubud with DEDE—the best guide!
    Our tour of Ubud with Dede was the highlight of our trip, and that’s saying a lot! The sites we went to (Monkey Forest, Tengungan Waterfall D’Alas Swing/Restaurant, Pura Titra Temple, and a few other stops). Dede was super friendly and took care of us all day - highly recommend you get your own driver for a more personalised experience.

    Best day in Bali ever with Ari 🥰
    Had a great day - went to Ubud. Visited the monkey forest, rice fields and Holy Water Temple and amazing lunch of local Balinese food 😋 My guide Ari is a super star ⭐️ Excellent local knowledge with fabulous personality and happy person with a big heart and excited to share his beautiful island with me. Very highly recommend his service to anyone coming to Bali not just Ubud.

    Damar is the best!
    Best tour in Ubud Bali that covers everything touristy. Totally recommend it. Damar was so helpful. He took care of us, got us water and snacks as well. We got a chance to try free swing as well at the restaurant.

    Everything you want and need from a day tour! Unmatched wonderful experience
    One of the best uses of money I’ve had traveling over 40 countries. The 1 day tour gives you a very good overview of Ubu. Nyoman J was a very professional, warm and knowledgeable tour guide. By the end of the day he became family. Friendly, with a great attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable. He also happened to be an excellent photographer/ videographer which came very handy as a solo traveler. In my future travels to Bali I plan to use this company again while recommending to friends and family. Book the tour you won’t regret it!

    Highlights of Bali from monkey sanctuary to rice fields, temple, waterfall and so much more. Great lunch as well.
    We took this trip with Enawan our driver for the day. He went above and beyond expectations to ensure we had a great day. Firstly he was a very good driver and that’s important here. Excellent English so able to be very informative and nothing was rushed or too much trouble. Our trip took in lots of highlights and he made it very enjoyable. We felt guilty at the end of the long day that we had kept him too long, but he was always cheerful and didn’t mind.

    Amazing day tour to discover the best of Ubud and learn more about the local culture!
    This is the best private tour you can get around Ubud! I had the opportunity to spend the day with Komang Godoh and I had a fantastic time. He was very knowledgable about the time to go to specific places to enjoy those spots while it was not too busy. He also has some great stories and explanations to provide for the different places you are going to visit. The monkey forest, the temple, the rice terraces, as well as the coffee producer, were definitely the highlight for me. Everywhere we went, the scenery was absolutely amazing. This was definitely the case at the restaurant for lunch with a fantastic view! I highly recommend this tour if you want to discover the best Ubud has to offer in one day!

We asked for a customized experience where we would take the East Bali tour and also visit the Tirta Empul - the Water Temple located in Ubud. The communication with organizer, Wayan, was smooth and he happily accommodated for our wishes. On the day of the tour we met Komang Godoh who was our guide and driver. We really enjoyed the tour. Komang was knowledgeable, he answered our questions, explained the customs and quite importantly for Bali he drove carefully, we did not feel unsafe even once despite the usual crazyness on the roads.

Our intention with the tour was to explore the Balinese life and culture with a local person who would guide us for a day and we have certainly gotten that but now I understand that we probably should have chosen a different destination for a cultural experience.

The Pura Lempuyang Luhur temple was stunning but it was mostly filled with tourists waiting to take pictures in front of the gates. The inner part of the temple was closed off for prayer. Still, it was magnificent to see because this is nonetheless a popular spot.

Tirta Gangga was a beautiful, well-maintained palace but here, again, you come for the beauty of the place not its history or local people. Feeding the koi fish at the pond was fun and would probably be a highlight for families with kids.

Then we drove through the winding roads to Sideman which strikes a balance between touristy and local. We got to see lots of plantations, both rice terraces and fruit plantations. The lunch was at a beautiful spot with wonderful views which we enjoyed.

Lastly, after a long day we came to the customized part, Tirta Empul, which was exactly what we were looking for. We saw locals and tourists alike partaking in the purification ritual and praying in the temple. Here, Komang, explained the religious meanings and customs in very good detail and then we felt as if the different pieces of culture and religion that we had seen in Bali both during the tour and even before that finally formed a bigger picture.

If you are looking for a personalized experience, I recommend you to contact Wayan and the team and discuss what you would like to see. I am certain that they will adapt the tour for you and you will enjoy the experience as we did.

A tour that hits all the high notes

This trip was very well thought out. Waking up early and seeing the sunrise above the pyramid shaped temple of Lempuyang was simply amazing. The sight was totally worth getting up early for, and also nicely allowed us to beat the crowd. We then had coffee in a charming outdoor cafe and then made our way to spectacular water garden Taman Tirta Gangga. Our guide Gusadi (Gus as he liked to be called) was very thoughtful allowing us to take things in at our own speed. He was very knowledgeable, and shared nice insight as to what we were seeing. He speaks great English, our first language. We ended the tour at an amazing Balinese Restaurant, highly recommend the local cocktail made with Arak local traditional spirit. This was the best meal we had in Bali. After lunch you can swim in the lovely restaurant resort infinity pool which overlooks the river and agricultural terraces. Simply beautiful and relaxing. A perfect day.

What an amazing day!
We had the most incredible day on this tour a couple of days ago, we honestly couldn’t recommend it enough if you are visiting Bali, it’s a must in our opinion as you really see so much in one day! Our driver, Adi, was excellent throughout, great communication from start to finish, he was always checking in to see if we were okay and if we needed any food/drink, we hadn’t eaten breakfast as we started early (would recommend the earlier start times as then you will miss traffic/queues) so he bought us some fruit/snacks whilst we were out which was so kind of him. Anytime we wanted to stop he would be more than happy to do so, for photos or for shops or anything like that, any questions we had he was always more than happy to answer them, we learnt so much and it was all down to Adi so thank you👏🏼 The tour itself was amazing, the views even whilst driving around were spectacular, and the lunch spot will just take your breath away. We also stopped at a coffee plantation after Heaven’s Gate and we would 100% recommend doing this, it was one of our favourite parts of the trip even though it isn’t set out in the itinerary. It was so interesting to see how the coffee is made in Bali, especially the Luwak coffee, we were able to see the entire process and then we did a coffee and tea tasting afterwards and it was some of the best we have ever tried. The whole tour was brilliant and has been one of our favourite days whilst staying in Bali, couldn’t recommend this enough!

Wonderful Tour in Paradise

An amazing tour with an amazing tour guide that will always be our friend. Arta is the king of tours in Bali and I recommend him every time if he is available. It was our second tour with Arta and he did not disappoint. His energy, passion, and knowledge of his island makes the trip one of a kind. Starting at 4AM, he was ready to go, filled with positive energy even if you can barely keep your two eyes open.

All of the photos taken are Instagram Hits and Arta is definitely not afraid to get in the best spot to take a photo. Overall, seeing the rich and diverse culture away from Kuta is one of the best ways to indulge in Bali’s culture. Do not second guess yourself on this one, every bit of time is worth it. You will not regret this tour.

A tour guide can make or break your tour. If you’re looking for someone to make your trip, Arta will show you what Bali is really about. Huge thank you to Arta, as he was such a bright spot on our trip in Bali. From Tanah Lot tour to this one, until we meet again! 🙏🏻

Book this trip!
Amazing day trip with guide Suli! He was in communication the day before the trip to confirm pick-up time/location and even arrived early. He was an expert driver and got us to the gates of heaven quickly and safely in about 1.5 hours from Seminyak. He knew all the best spots for photos, I was even the first to take photos at a few spots, with huge lines joining shortly after. He encouraged me to take more photos and even gave posing suggestions. He explained the culture and history behind sites, allowed flexibility in customizing the itinerary and always ensured I was having a great time. The lunch spot was so delicious and there is time to swim in the pool/river so don’t forget a swimsuit. I was a little nervous to take this tour on my own, but I had nothing to worry about. It was perfect in every way and I would love to do another tour with Suli on my next trip to Bali. Left with amazing memories and photos my family/friends were wowed by, ideal for a solo traveler!

First let me start off by saying you MUST request Made for all of your Bali tours. He is great. Made allows you to customize your tour and also provides insight as to what you should do that is worth your time based on traffic and lines at the popular attractions. He is very responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. We felt comfortable and trusted Made with his recommendations on food and beach clubs. Made is great and made our Bali trip a trip to remember. Thank you so much, I can't wait to come back!!

All inclusive from this tour company (Bali Driver Seminyak) means private clean car for your own group with tour guide/ driver/ photographer in one; the restaurant where we got lunch (included in the package) is top notch- not only a restaurant
but a boutique style resort. We felt really taken cared of by Made Vendi, we booked another tour (customized) with him as our guide to Ubud. All questions we have about Bali and their culture, Vendi answered. Review on that tour and pics to follow.

Wonderful one day tour with charming tour guide

We would like to thank Gedputra(GeDe) for the one day tour of gateway of heaven. He introduced us to local fruits and arranged a lunch at sleeping gaza sidemen while returning.
He guided us very well since pick from hotel at early morning so that we should not be in long queue for clicking pictures from the most famous spot known as Lumpuyanh temple or gateway of heaven. He also captured beautiful couple memories and introduced with lot of Bali things to understand Baliness. Tirthganga was also included in the trip and he taken us to art village, silver village jewellery, stone carving and batik shop while returning to pick up few Bali stuff at reasonable price.

We would like to send a heartfelt gratitude to him for hosting us to one day tour and dropping us at our new checkin in Sanur.

Worth every second of the journey!
The “Gate of Heaven” tour is well worth the 4am departure and 2 hour travel time from Ubud. We were lucky to have Komang Godoh as our guide for a 2nd day and enjoyed every minute of our time with him. Despite a long queue, Komang Godoh made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable as we waited our turn for the iconic instagram photo. Lunch was at a beautiful resort with a scenic infinity pool overlooking rice fields. Komang added a trip to a Batik workshop because we mentioned we were interested in the craft. Again, we are grateful for the time spent with our incredible guide and this professional, service oriented tour company!

Amazing tour with great guides!

Must do in Bali!!

Our group of 8 was toured with Enawan Swandi, who is an amazing tour guide with a great sense of humor. Worked well with our group vibes & was very informative with the locals/ history of Bali.

Gate of Heaven - 10/10
Pictures at the iconic Bali spot is a must. The queue gets long very quick, my group got there 6am but waited about 2 hours for our turn for pictures. Luckily, our tour guides went up early to secure our spots.
PSA: Please be respectful to locals, we saw tourists step in an area that was clearly labeled "don't step" on the stairs. You are a visitor to their sacred space.

Tirta Gangga / Koi Pond
Cool koi and stepping stones for pictures. Very interactive by feeding the koi and gathering right by your feet.

Our drivers were super accommodating, our group didn't visit the Tukad Unda Dam so we asked to stop by the Ubud Art Market and it really tied up the remainder of our trip in Bali.

TLDR: amazing tour guide Enawan, and would 100% recommend to take this tour! You'll have a great laugh while experiencing Bali through the lenses.
