We booked our trip with Rinjani Samalas several months ahead of our trip. Leading up to our trip, Azmi was patient to assist us with our questions pertaining to the hike, and accommodated to our requests (change of itinerary, change of hikers due to unforeseen circumstances) patiently. Azmi’s team helped to ensure our 4D3N hike went as safe and enjoyable as possible. We had understanding and experienced guide Nas, who helped us through the hike especially during certain parts which were more challenging and slippery. He was assuring and ensured all in the group was well taken care of. He knew of all the best photo spots too! Together with the team of porters, our meals and comfort throughout the expedition were met way beyond our expectations. We were so well fed, and all meals were curated so thoughtfully and aesthetically pleasing, giving us the much needed energy for the long hike. Not to mention, the high quality sleeping tents, sleeping mats, camping chairs and tables all made us feel like Royals on the mountain. We were daily amazed by the effort the crew took to find us the best dining and sleeping spot that offered the best privacy and comfort away from the other hiking groups. Thank you! Another guide Supi also met our last minute request to set up a campfire on our last night to celebrate our successful hike submission, sharing with us stories of Rinjani over the warm fire that were just fascinating. His stoic and humble presence was also assuring for us. Azmi’s crew spoke of the work they do so genuinely and their philosophy of caring for their environment, where the crew will consciously take their trash with them. In fact, our guide was even picking up trash enroute so as to keep the trails clean. We were really impressed by the company’s philosophy and care for Mother Nature. Finally, also appreciating Azmi for helping us to look for alternatives when we were scammed off by another tour company for our subsequent trip leg. It was beyond his duty to help us with that, and again we are deeply grateful for him to go beyond to work out arrangements for us. Thank you Rinjani Samalas for giving us such an amazing experience that we will for sure share with our friends who are also coming to Rinjani!

We went for the 4D3N hiking tour with Rinjani Samalas Tour. We really appreciate the excellent service they provided. Azmi is very patient and prompt to answer all of our questions from our first enquiry. Azmi’s team picked us up at the airport, and then we went for dinner. Later, we checked into the guesthouse Bambu Villa the night before our hike which is clean and also with a nice sunset view. Our guides, San and Moon were very experienced and kept us safe especially on the dangerous terrain. The porters and cooks always left the camp-site after us as they had to pack up everything and yet they were able to overtake us and set up the next camp-site and get the food ready before we reached! The team made really great and sumptuous food. Fruits were plenty and presentation was beautiful. Great experience from pickup till the end. We highly recommend Rinjani Samalas Tour.

We went for the 4D3N hiking tour with Rinjani Samalas. We love how they chose quieter and good view spots for us to set up the camp for the night. Our guide, Nas, was helpful when we had difficulties with the rocky paths and also recommended us the torean route on day 3 for a different view. The team made really great food and ensured we were well-fed all the time :) Great experience from pickup till the end, highly recommend it!

The previous two days we (group of six young women) traveled with Sinthian (our personal guide) to the Rinjani Mountain. The climb was hard, but bearable also due to our enthusiastic and funny guide who pushed us up the mountain at certain times. Lunch, dinner and breakfast was included and delicious. We always felt very safe and secure. The views were amazing and the company even better. Loved every second, would recommend everyone.

He goes above and beyond to ensure that we have a memorable trip The tour was well planned and organized. Our guide Apri is knowledgeable and helpful, and he made sure that everyone in the group felt safe and comfortable, even on the more difficult trails. As I got closer to the summit of Mt. Rinjani, he also assisted me in carrying my backpack when I was too tired. We camped in a spectacular location and truly appreciated the camping spot that they chose for us. The porters and crews were well-executed, and with meals, all the cooked foods were delicious and balanced with protein, vegetables, and carbs. We won’t be able to make it to summit without this team 😊 After descending, we stayed at Villa Bumboo, where we can enjoy and retreat with beautiful and scenery and tasty food, we love Lalapan Ayam very very much 😊 We also visited the waterfall nearby Villa Bambu, which is incredibly amazing.

I did the 2D/1N summit hike. I thought the whole trek was well organized. Its really great value if you considered pickup and drop off included in the price. We had group of three solo hikers. Everybody had their individual tent. The food was fine and look just like any other trek group. We had great weather and time to explored little bit on our own.

To be honest, the trekking isn't easy for us, especially the last part. However, thanks Salamas trekking tour for providing good service with a reasonable price and good care so we could make it! And our tour guide Nus and his team are the best. My friend was slow and he helped her with carrying her bag.Unfortunately she also twisted her ankle while descending. Nus companied her to finish the trekking with patient. Much THANKS to Nus! Beside, I found safety is their priority consideration. They took us to the secure place to camp and watch the view. Thank you, Salamas.

I was trying to book a tour to climb Mount Rinjani. Unfortunately, communication with most suppliers was poor. So I dropped the idea. After talking to someone about it, he told me about the good experience with Samalas and gave me a phone number. So I tried it one last time with a Whatsapp message. The answer was great and within seconds with all information. The extremely professional impression prompted me to book the tour with Samalas. Within 30 minutes, I was registered for the 3d/2n tour for the day after! Everything worked out great. Pick up, communication, additional personal gear, accommodation, drop off and and and...The tour itself was great with two super guides (Thanks Nus and Supi!) and per person a porter. I'm still impressed from the work of the porters and their cooking skills. Even the whole equipment was top. Great job Rinjani Samalas!!! It was an amazing experience!!! Keep it up👍

We've made the 3D2N tour to mount rinjani. We were 4 friends and took the sharing package, so two other young guys joined us to hike to the top. To sum up the trip: it's well organized (for each person hiking you got a porter who carries your stuff - food, water, tent,…) and also the guides were really nice and helpful. Eventough you shouldn't underestimate the trip, especially on the second day because you walk from about 3AM to 5PM. I would rather recommend the 2D1N trip. A special thanks to Nus and Supi(hope the names are written correct) who were good guides and also thanks to the porters!

We took the 2d/1n to the summit and let me start by saying it ain't for the faint hearted! The night stretch to the summit will make you or break you. Especially when ascending in a cloud covered storm! That said Rinjani Samalas was perfect! Would recommend them to everyone taking on this adventure of a life time. Food was excellent (and we have a picky 12 year old but he ate everything). Guide and porters really friendly and helpful. Pick up has seamless (for us in Bangsal) and drop of the same. They even transferred us to our hotel in Gili Air without any charge. After the climb to the summit I said I would never do it again, but if someone want's to go with me I just might change my mind - and of course we'll go with Rinjani Samalas!!

Amazing! We did 3 days/2 nights and it was fantastic. Honestly, the trekking is hard but it is totally recommended. Rinjani Samalas offers much food to keep the energy up! Our guide was Su (Suhardi) who is a nice person. He is always willing to help you in any circumstance and taking care of you. Thanks again Su!
