Overview
Visit Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee on a full-day trip from Tel Aviv to some of Israel’s most important Christian sites. You’ll follow the path of Jesus and the apostles as you visit places where Jesus is believed to have been born, taught, performed miracles, and been baptized. Since the tour is tailored to New Testament sites, it’s a great way to experience Israel’s Christian heritage with limited time.
What to Expect
After pickup at your hotel in Tel Aviv, enjoy views of the countryside from a climate-controlled coach as you travel to Nazareth. There, visit the Church of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Then, continue to Kafr Kanna, believed to be the site of the biblical story of the wedding at Cana.

Arrive on the shores of the Sea of Galilee and pass the Church of the Multiplication, built on the believed location of the biblical feeding of the 5,000. In the archaeological site of Capernaum, see the ruined synagogue where Jesus is believed to have taught. Afterward, visit the baptismal site at Yardenit. If you’d like, you’ll have the option to be baptized in the same place where Jesus is believed to have been baptized. The return trip to Tel Aviv passes Mount Tabor, or the Mount of Transfiguration, and the day concludes with hotel drop-off.

My tour to Narareth, Tiberias, and the Sea of Galilee was enjoyable. Thank you Dany.

I took four tours with Bein Harim tour company. Since I signed up online directly with Bein Harim, I thought my tour was run by them. Apparently, that was not the case. Tourists from different agencies are grouped together in the same tour so I...More

Just tell the tour operator where you stay for pick up/drop off. I believe RC should be on the list. When you book the tour, mention you are interested in the baptism service. There will be an additional cost. You need... More
