My Son and Marble Mountain Day Trip, Including Lunch from Hoi An

Overview

While it’s possible to explore My Son independently, you’re missing out without a guide to explain the mysterious, UNESCO World Heritage Site. On this tour, your local guide will escort you door to door—not only to My Son but also to the Marble Mountains, the Son Tra Peninsula, and a local restaurant for lunch.

What to Expect

After hotel pickup, start the day with a tour of My Son, once the capital and religious center of the Champa Kingdom and now a UNESCO-listed site with a history dating back to the fourth century. Explore the red-brick towers and sanctuaries with the help of your expert guide before breaking for lunch at a local restaurant.

Sated, discover the Marble Mountains, with their Buddhist pagodas and dramatic caves. Visit the Linh Ung Pagoda, with its “Lady Buddha” (Guanyin) statue, and Am Phu cave, home to a replica of heaven and hell. Travel to the Son Tra Peninsula, and a second attractive Linh Ung Pagoda, before returning to your hotel.
