Amazing Borneo arranged for a 5days/4nights trip to Kota Kinabalu for our group of 8 seniors. The service provided by the local guide KS Tan was great. He was polite, knowledgable n helpful. He listened to our feedback n even made special arrangements when needed. Our driver, Fadli was a superb driver. Similarly like Tan, he was friendly, helpful n ensure we had comfortable rides. The trip was booked through the Marketing manager, Anthony Wong. He assisted us to put together s package that was an enjoyable & relaxing holiday. He was patient & able to meet our needs with his vast knowledge n experience. I recommend Amazing Borneo for a holiday in Sabah.

Our group of 8 enjoyed this leisurely tour. Highlights were the hike up to the Canopy Walk followed by Poring Spring and Botanical Gardens, the last of which where our guide Tan shared with us interesting info on some of the plants, trees and birds. We also enjoyed a sunset cruise on a yacht owned by Amazing Borneo Tours which allowed us spectacular views of the setting sun, while enjoying a sumptuous buffet and watching a live performance. Our tour guide, Tan KS, and our driver, Fadli, were true professionals, responsible, helpful and obliging, going out of their way for little detours/stops to the pharmacy or provision shop or the spa on the way. Both men provided top-notch service in their respective areas, making us feel we were in very safe hands throughout our stay. Anthony was accommodating & kindly approved complimentary additional transport support which we requested for on our last day of tour in KK.

Gavin and Jonathan are amazing guides. I was travelling solo and they made me feel comfortable. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and spotted the Proboscis monkeys, loved the local food. It was raining but it wasn't bothersome. The highlight for me was the sunset. It was magical. So grateful and thank you for the laughs.

A disappointing experience. After hiring the Semporna tour (€650) for our honeymoon. We found that of the 2 days that they had snorkeling activities, on the second of them, the crew forgot the snorkeling equipment (goggles, fins and tube) . The crew solved the situation by taking a tube and some glasses in the deplorable state they had on board. They told us that we had to snorkel in rounds, first me and then my wife, when our dream was to do it together. The question is: as a company that is dedicated solely to this activity, you can forget about your work team. If we add to this problem that the food they offered us was terrifying and that the crew exchanged 20 sentences with us in 2 days, there is not much more to say. At no time did Amazing Borneo ask us about the evolution of a proportional part of the amount paid for the activity, since the tour includes snorkeling material. We found it incredible that a company of such renown and with such good reviews did not offer us an economic solution to such nonsense.

Really fun! Van ride was a little bumpy but overall still a great experience. One thing that really surprised me was the white water rafting they booked us with an amazing guide. The guide was very encouraging to try new things like body rafting and gave us amazing “waves” to ride on. Would 100% book amazing Borneo tours again

Had a great time in Sabah. The trip was fun, entertaining and educational and was done in a most relaxed pace with no pressure of time. Our guide Gavin and captain Freddie were most courteous and friendly all the way and you really feel at home with them. Also thanks to Anthony who was very patient and accommodating to my very last minute request for a change on the tour dates. Will definitely tour with Amazing Borneo Tour again. Highly recommended to those still not sure which tour group to go with.

Nothing but positive feedback. I booked through Sabah Travel and they led us to Amazing Borneos. The facilitators on both ends are responsive and quick to reply/update. Our guide, William, was warm and patient. As a single mom travelling with three kids, we felt safe and comfortable with him. He shared interesting stories and knowledge throughout the 3 days he drove us around, from KK to Membakut to Kundasang.. First time in Sabah, 3 days are not enough. So many places to explore and we will definitely come back. Thank you, William. My kids and I definitely appreciate you!

We had an incredible time on our 2D1N Mount Kinabalu hike, followed by a day tour at the Borneo Cultural Village. Joey from Amazing Borneo was exceptional, displaying professionalism and warmth throughout the entire experience. Everything including the booking was smooth and handled very well. We saw this package online but it didn't include the wildlife safari river cruise. Carlotte replied my enquiries via email promptly and helped to add the river cruise into the package. I appreciate that they were able to accomodate to our preferences. While we were there, we were accompanied by Diana and Fadli who were very kind and patient with us. Their hospitality made us feel very welcomed and comfortable (and so are most of locals here <3). We loved their sharings about history, culture, and their experiences as it helped to appreciate the experience better. We also loved the local music and homecooked food. 10/10 would recommend! Can't wait for our next trip with Amazing Borneo!

We went for Kinabalu park with Desa Cow Farm & Sunset Dinner Cruise tour. Our travel guide made our experience smooth and enjoyable, especially as a family with kids. Amazing and awesome trip up mount kinabalu with Amazing Borneo Tours team. Everything was spot on, with very helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend booking tour with this lot. The hike is a beginner skills level, but intermediate fitness levels needed, especially if you're going up the summit! Definitely a worthy challenge both physically and mentally.
