About
Soba and tempura are traditional Japanese foods, each with its own unique charm. Soba and tempura are not only delicious on their own, but when eaten together, they create a synergistic effect, providing an even more enjoyable dining experience. Tempura is a dish made by coating vegetables and seafood with batter and frying them, and the crispy texture of the batter and the flavor of the ingredients are an exquisite match. Typical ingredients include shrimp, eggplant, seasonal vegetables, and local ingredients. Hokkaido is the most famous soba producing area in Japan. Hokkaido's climate and soil conditions are suitable for growing soba, so high-quality soba is produced. Areas known for particularly delicious soba include the Tokachi region and the Furano region. Hokkaido soba is flavorful and chewy, and its taste is loved by many people. In Hokkaido, there are many dishes using soba, and you can enjoy it in combination with local specialties and seasonal ingredients, or in a unique cooking method. Hokkaido soba cuisine is a luxurious experience that allows you to enjoy local ingredients and culture. Therefore, it is also popular with tourists visiting Hokkaido. A soba noodle experience in Hokkaido is a good opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Japanese soba culture and enjoy the local flavors. The soba noodle making experience lasts about 30 minutes. After that, you can taste the soba and tempura you made. The whole experience will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Even small children can easily and enjoy making soba. You don't need to bring anything or prepare anything. Please feel free to come. We hope you enjoy it as a commemorative Hokkaido dinner. *Children under 2 years old are free. For group customers Please feel free to contact the store directly.

      Great visit
Was a great experience. We really enjoyed it . One of the best places in Ghana is mole National Park. The nature is very beautiful and so quiet. We also did the canoe safari. Which was also very great . Enjoyed the landscape and also visited the oldest mosque in Africa.

      Surreal Sapporo Soba Experience
The host (Taku) let me know in advanced that the time slot was too close to the previous other’s and asked if 5:00pm was fine. When we got here we were greeted by Taku and we got started right away. Although the English parts were difficult to understand at times, there was a complete translation of his script and things were comprehended by the traveller hand gestures and nods. Afterward we got to cut the soba and then eat the soba we made. There was a menu for add ons afterwards but otherwise everything was included with the meal. Was a fun experience overall. As a seasoned traveller I liked it!

Authentic soba noodle making and taste
The soba noodle making experience was an educational, eye opening experience. The soba noodles they sell In the store is not the same authentic soba noodles you make here. Also, it was delicious with the sauce and shrimp Tempura. Amazing and memorable!

      Fun Family Experience
We wanted to do something different and able to immerse into the Japanese culture, and this was perfect for us. This shop is a small soba shop that opens its doors after lunch crowd for the soba making experience. We got our hands doughy and able to use the soba knife to make the noodles. Makes me appreciate even more the work that goes into the home made soba noodles. At the end, they will prepare the noodles for us to eat. The noodles were plated beautifully with hot or cold broth options. We kindly asked to take about 1/2 home with us since our little one is a little picky and I couldn’t eat noodles for two :). We were dragging to get here because of jet lag, but the trek was definitely worth it! Taku-san (or sensei :)) was great, and we had fun!!!

The experience was very straight forward and fun! We were able to arrive a little early too and get started ahead of schedule. You learn how to knead, roll, and cut soba noodles. The staff spoke enough English for a non-Japanese speaker to understand the directions.

Had a great time making soba under Taku. He was very thorough and encouraging in his instruction. Taku demonstrated all the steps and gave us pointers on dos and don’ts before having us try it ourselves.
