- _N9051SK00Optimal choice of best locations in one tourTop locations in one tour - best choice ever. Our guide Raja was an amazing host. Tip: take your own palantines to cover yourself up when going to Batu caves. Take cash to buy food fot the elephants. Note that the locations are still far away from each other so it takes some time to get from one to another, but the car is really comfortable so it’s ok. Highly recommended. Thank you!
- hsinjuit00RecommendationOur tour guide Johnson explains the history clearly. Also, set a reasonable time to meet up and always be on time!
- S8499TKswec00The Johnson experienceWe had a great time. Johnson is an excellent guide. Tip for shoppers: the streets surrounding Jonker street have more varied / less uniform shops
- JoeC576500Surprised firefly boat trip! Our first and most enjoyable activity is feeding the monkeys! We had many interactions with them and had lots of fun! Thanks to our tour guide Mcpall giving us detail instructions and tips on feeding the monkeys, and he is very nice and patient that he didn’t rush us to finish feeding the monkeys although we are a bit late :P The second activity is seafood dinner. They looks delicious and tastes are okay! The final activity is the firefly boat tour, twinkling fireflies in the nights are beautiful, and it should be even more beautiful without the full moon ;) Thanks to our driver Ravi bringing us safely throughout the trip!
- Ammar H00Cameron Highlands TourWe went on the Cameron Highlands Tour with Mr Coomerlan. He was a great guide and driver, and was available to ask questions. Despite heavy traffic he was patient and knowledgeable, and took care of us. A few points I would consider for next time is taking this tour outside of public holidays, as due to public holidays we were delayed considerably in traffic and there was a lot of time just sitting in the car, which resulted in late drop off as well. Also the car we were in was not the most comfortable, we could not recline the seats at all due to the number of people in there to not inconvenience others, and it felt quite cramped especially waiting in long hours of traffic. We would also have liked to have spent more time in the tea farm than at the other places but recognise traffic affected this a lot. Overall though it was a great tour and Mr Coomerlan was a fantastic guide, I wish him all the best.
- luker41100Highly recommend this little guy excursion.Mcpall & Ravi were amazing. We booked the tour through Klook the day prior and it started with a 3.15pm pick up from our hotel, journey for around an hour whereby we then made a stop off to feed some monkeys and learn a bit about the history of Malaysia/KL. The monkey feeding experience alone would’ve been worth the money. Afterwards we made our way to a pier/jetty side restaurant for some fantastic seafood, chicken and Thai dishes - there was so much of it. Then we went on the firefly boat to observe the fireflies and then an hour back to our hotel. Mcpall & Ravi were both phenomenal hosts and tour guides, they were both very friendly, well spoken and gave great information all whilst being entertaining. Great value for money and highly recommend.

- Camper6195611148900Great TourFriendly tour guide, funny, polite and informative. Mcpall and Ravi managed the tour perfectly. The time is quite tight for shopping, but still enjoyable.
- Venture6504597432000Bait Cavehalf day tourMcpall And Ravi are Helpful, friendly and funny tour guide. Share us some history n background of Malaysia during trip.
- VincentHoKuching00Historical Melaka tour from KL.Melaka is so full of history, as evinced by its many many muzeums. The town is a UNESCO site. It has many shops that are not only really well preserved but in active use as shops selling traditional foods and old wares. The tour included visits to some churches, temples and the famous A Fomosa fort. The boat cruise is not inclusive but we'll worth your money at RM30. 00. I think the tour is a nice prelims way to get to know Melaka a bit and then plan a 2 days stay in a return trip.
- steveraison00Worth doingThe guide was very informative, explained everything and pointed out where to do in our free time. Lunch was good as well.
- Danielle W00Excellent trip - must do for touristsMcpall was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable about his country and the traditions that they hold. Very approachable for questions as well. The bus driver we had - Mr Robert - was excellent as well. Navigating the twisty roads of the Cameron highlands with ease. We highly recommend this tour for all visitors to this beautiful country.
- nazaruddin a00Cameron Highlands tourThe Cameron Highlands Tour I did was just marvelous. The tour guide McPall was great very informative and friendly. The driver Robert too.

I would highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to take a break from the city. Thi Va was the tour guide and he explained everything we were doing and told us stories and facts of all the places we went to. I am a solo traveler and he made sure I was okay for the entire trip. He was very welcoming and friendly, and great driver. The area is also much cooler than KL which made walking around easier. Do keep in mind that the roads to Cameron Highlands are winding and will give a word of caution to anyone who gets car sick easily.

Amazing tour to the Cameron Highlands starting from KL. Our tour guide Chandra welcomed us heartily in the morning on time with a nice air-conditioning mini-van. He drove us very carefully up the 3hours journey on narrow roads and we stopped on the way to the waterfall, very authentic original villages for food stops, before reaching 2 wonderful tea plantations and factory, the strawberry farm with delicious strawberry milkshake, having delicious lunch at the golf restaurant's balcony and much more. We will definitely book a tour again and only can recommend this tour to everyone!

We spent great day in this tour .
our tour guide Thiva was in time and pick up us from our hotel lobby and during the way to Cameron highland he explained all the related subject about Malaysia and also about Cameron highland and the itinerary was great we like the tea factory and the strawberry farm and he add extra stop and take us to the native people of Malaysia and show us quick glance of how their life.
And also didn't us feel pressured to buy anything like some other tours.
Thank you Thiva and ivy holidays

First of all: Raja was a nice driver.
I think if you are in KL only three days, I wouldn‘t recommend doing the tour as you drive over 8 hours (4h to get there, 4h to get back), 4h being there. When you’re there for at least a week I think it’s okay to do the tour.
It was nice to see the rainforest and the tea plantation but my heart broke when we went to the „butterfly and insect farm“ which included a zoo with suffering animals! This is not part of the advertised package. If they would have advertised a zoo in general I wouldn’t have gone so I think it’s misleading. I nearly cried when I saw the big turtle in the teeny tiny tank without anything in there but water?!? Two meercats in a small plastic / glass cage with one small house and nothing to do. Even cats in a cage, a big peacock in a tiny cage in which it couldn’t even turn around properly. I strongly recommend that the operator changes the tour and leaves this farm out of it! With the money for your trip you help the zoo and you support animal abuse :(

We were picked up right on time by our Thiva and it turned out that we were the only people on our tour, making it a private tour.
The drive to Cameron Highlands is long and a good part of it is on very narrow, winding roads. We were fine but I would caution those sensitive to motion sickness.
The tea plantations were a highlight, as was the butterfly farm. As others have noted, there are many stops on this tour though I think it would have been better to communicate the estimated lunch time early on so that we could cut out some stops (I would have cut out the market and strawberry farm) or spend less time at each stop. Eating at 2 pm was too late for us, even though we had a chance to get a snack at the tea plantation.
There were plenty of opportunities to buy souvenirs or goods but I never felt pressured to buy like you do on some tours. We returned to the hotel over 12 hours later, making it a really full day. They’re pretty insistent on asking you to leave a review of the tour during the actual drive back, but overall we enjoyed our day out of the city.

If you want to see Cameron Highlands from KL - this is a great way. It was a full 12 hour trip there and back, really good value for money. It was spaced out really well with stops and we saw LOADS, all of which was included in the price. Mr Tan our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and made the day.

First of all I would like to mention that the tour guide was fantastic, but the tour itself is quite poor.
It is about sitting the whole time in the bus, visiting lousy “farms”. The bee farm was just a miny garden to walk trough, not much to see. In the butterfly farm there is a minizoo with animals kept under unethical conditions. Rabbits, goats etc. just lying on the concrete floor, looking really sick - not nice to see animals like this.
The strawberry farm was a disappointment, promoted with “pick your own strawberries” we arrived there got one strawberry to taste and could visit the strawberry farm, no picking was allowed, as “season is over”. Why not choosing another agenda point instead of letting people sit around for 30-40min at a strawberry farm where you can literally do and see nothing. Who wants to walk through a strawberry garden for 30min if not allowed to pick any?
Anyway, the prices for self picking are completely mad as well. 40 MYR per 500grams. This is 17 EUR per kilogram, that’s insane.
The waterfall was not really special either.
The tea plantation provided some great and picturesque views, however I was hopong to see more of those views, so to actually see the Cameron Highlands, to be able to walk around a bit with Highland view, but the locations where we have stopped were not like you would imagine imbedded in highland hills.
I was really expecting to see the Highlands and to be able to walk around and enjoy the views while seeing some butterflies, bees, picking strawberries.
The lunch was good. It was served at a golf course restaurant, with golf course view.
I would really not recommend taking this tour to anybody who would like to see the beauty of nature over there, because that you won’t see.

This is our second time using Ivy Holidays for our tours and we had Raja as our driver.
What a wonderful man, thoughtful and attentive to our needs. Raja was very knowledgeable and we felt safe with his driving at all time, even when he was navigating the winding roads to the Cameron Highlands.
It was very interesting day and we enjoyed the tea planation, butterfly park, the tasty curry lunch at the golf club and the tranquilIty of the waterfalls.
I would recommend to doing this tour with Ivy Holidays and you won’t be disappointed

Malaysia's largest (and second largest) tea plantation, the Sultan's choicest golf course, a full colony of bees, a native blowing darts at a teddy bear, a stick bug, a leaf bug, countless butterflies, and a waterfall are all things you will see on this day trip from KL. There's also plenty of extras like cactus shopping and visiting local market full of fruits and veggies to taste. The drive to and from KL is curvy and long, and may not be for those that get motion sick, but our driver and guide Thiva made it comfortable. Aside from all the sites, the guide told us about some Malaysia history and how the Cameron Highlands came to be. He was available to answer any questions and was polite and professional throughout the day.
Weekdays (instead of holiday or weekend) is recommended to avoid crowds and traffic. I attached a photo of the included Indian set lunch which was decent (there were also numerous other options to purchase snacks throughout the day, including local strawberries and honey). This trip is an excellent value and a highly recommended way to spend a day.

Really good value for your money. Mr. Tan is the best tour guide you could have! Highly recommend him! We were picked up on time 7am on a coach bus, 20 of us total. We were dropped back off at our respective hotels at almost 8pm. It's a four hours drive each way, with a breakfast/bathroom stop in the morning. The drive goes by quick as Mr. Tan provided us with history and interesting facts about the Cameron Highlands and Malaysia in general.
The Cameron Highlands are absolutely stunning. The trip is worth it just for the tea plantation alone. The strawberry and bee farms were okay, quaint... but the butterfly garden was a pleasant surprise!
We made a pitstop at a waterfall which allowed me the opportunity to try durian from a street vendor (the only place I was able to try it my entire time spent in Malaysia!) so this was a special bonus treat :)
HUGE shoutout to the bus driver who maneuvered us on the steep/scary road down from the highlands!
