    Disappointing Experience on Mostar Tour.
We went as part of a Tui organised trip o 25/10/23. Mostar is a gorgeous place and very interesting. The local guide (Yasmina) was very knowledgeable and a good clear speaker. However, what marred our experience was that, unfortunately, we left presents for our children ( 2 lamps) on the bus...our fault I know....but when we tried to retrieve them we were seriously messed around by the Tui Rep at our hotel. We were told that they had been found (twice) by the rep (Kristine) at our hotel (Admiral in Slano) and would be returned before the end of our stay. They weren't, and we had to go home without them. I even tipped Kristine for her trouble, but she has ignored 2 emails I sent to her since, using her email address, kindly provided by the hotel. I know the presents were our responsibility, and don't really know who else is at fault here, but we still feel "conned" by somebody ! Thanks for listening....

    You cannot miss the walls
You are a fool if you go to Croatia, are able bodied, and don't walk the walls. Go early to avoid crowds and the heat... Cafes and washrooms are location along the route. Some staircases can be a little precarious so use caution if unstable on your feet.... It still feels like a dream.

    Beautiful but too expensive
Came on a cruise and wanted to walk the walls. The city is stunning and the walls around the town well renovated. Price at 35 Euro well over the top

    Superb experience
The views are spectacular. Bit of a climb in parts but well worth it. Djubrovic is a beautiful city. So much history.

Over priced at 70 Euros for two people!
This is a very expensive walk around the old walls of Dubrovnik. It is 70 Euros for two adults with no concessions. There are no guide books or audio guides available and nothing is labelled to explain the history of the walls. The only toilets are inside one of the two cafes and you can only use them if you buy an over priced refreshment. Yes, the views are nice but they are not worth paying 70 Euros. They are just grabbing money and it’s as nice if not nicer to wander around the quaint streets of the old city.

    Brilliant day
Brilliant day trip to rovinj to start, in which Phillip our tour guide gave us plenty of info through out the day, surprising dinner where everyone one got together for drinks and a chat then set off to pula amphitheatre, I thought it was amazing as I haven’t been to one before so highly recommended, really enjoyed our day :)

    Disappointing Tui Trip to Mostar
Tui trip from Kalamato Hotel Kolocep. 6.35 ferry and rep was late as presumably she had tracked ferry using an app - but then wouldn't we all have liked another 10 mins in bed! Told it was 3 hr coach journey with arrival in Mostar between 11 and 11.30 and this confirmed by guide as we boarded coach at 7,30. 5 other pickups later we finally left Dubrovnik area at 9.15 and arrived Mostar at 12.30. So now we are late and waited 15mins at one of stops on tour of Mostar as we were late to enter Mosque. Yes, we had full 3 hrs in Mostar, supposedly 1hr walking tour and 2 hr free time but by nearly 2pm we gave up and left tour for lunch and time for us to look around. I really enjoyed Mostar, my wife less so. Trip back had 2 very truncated stops as there was likelihood we would miss last (8pm) ferry back to Kolocep altho'tour company had plan for a charter boat. In the end the altereddropoffs so took us to harbour before dropping others at their hotels in Dubrovnik. Arrived at ferry terminal just after 7.30pm, 4 hrs after leaving g Mostar. So we spent 9 hrs on coach - NOT the 6 hrs we had been told - for 3 hrs in Mostar; definitely NOT worth it. And NO, it was the border crossings that were the issue, the issue was multiple pick ups in Dubrovnik. All-in-all a most unsatisfactory and disappointing trip, and the rep I spoke to about it the morning g after seemed unsurprised and unconcerned. BEWARE!

    Difficult to get a ticket
You must be aware that you have to print out the ticket. Ridiculous in this day and age. It seems to be the same thing for bus tickets in Dubrovnik too. Impossible to find the machine or sellers to obtain them. When will this tourism industry catch up with mobile phone technology? The best option is to get up at the crack of dawn to purchase at the gate and promenade the walls like a demented sleep walker. Not sure if this is worthwhile.

SCAM - use official site Dubrovnik Pass
This is a scam, buy at Dubrovnik Pass when you get here! They charged us €50 per person on this site for an supposedly allotted time and stated that it was a mobile ticket. It is not a mobile ticket, you have to have it physically printed before coming yet they hadn’t even emailed us the ticket. We had to go to a travel office where they printed what turned out to be a voucher which we then swapped for the official ticket at the gate - this showed the price as €35 each. You can buy tickets when you get there using Dubrovnik Pass which is the official site for €35 and gets you free bus tickets for the day too. We tried to get a refund for the difference under their Best Price Guarantee that Viator have but they’ve made up all kinds of excuses. This whole thing is a scam - save yourself the hassle and do it through the official site when you get here

Scam ticket seller, but Walls a must
Do not buy through Viator! Overcharged for entrance tickets, whole experience felt like a scam, and tickets have to be printed (if they even email them to you). Not a mobile ticket as said on TripAdvisor and you can get a better price through the Dubrovnik Pass. However, the city walls are a must see and highly recommend!

    NOT A MOBILE TICKET!!!!
NOT A MOBILE TICKET!!!! Disgraceful, firstly its not a mobile ticket, feel its a scam for having this on their page. You have to print off the ticket, for someone without a printer isn't helpful. Secondly the fact you can't get a refund for a ticket you cannot use or print. Customer service isn't helpful, wasted £85 on two tickets.

    A fairly entertaining afternoon
A fun trip round three local vineyards plus a mill. Pretty basic in terms of wine info shared, and modest amount of wine on offer too. The road train was good fun and it was a pleasant afternoon of sightseeing. Could have hoped for more info on the wine, or a greater variety of wines.

What could be better than good wine, beautiful scenery and the cutest wee yellow train?
We had such a lovely time on this cute little wine train. The first winery we stopped at was Brajkovic Winery which had the best red wine we've had in Croatia, we had to buy 2 bottles to take home with us, although one didn't last the journey... The train takes takes you around the beautiful countryside and the tour is a lovely mixture of gorgeous scenery, delicious wine and sandwiches as well as local guides knowledge of the history of the area. We also found the driver to be very accommodating. We were staying locally so vouched for getting to the first location by bike. The driver of the coach made arrangements for us to be taken back to our accommodation via the wonderful yellow train and we would pick up our bike the following day. Such a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon 😊

Plitvice was beautiful, but dealing with Trip Advisor was difficult. We were quite confused about what our $103 (2 people) paid for. Seems we paid a lot extra just for park entrance and nothing else. There was no explanation at all of the “tour”. We knew it was self-guided, but were not advised how much time to allow, possible viewing options, what to expect, etc. All in all we paid $160 for a 4-hr round trip bus ride from Zadar (which we arranged on our own) and 2 hrs. at the park.

I traveled to Plitvice with my boyfriend, and we got a confirmation email directing us to print our tickets in the morning. This was the only way to redeem physical tickets. Because I did not travel with a printer (because it's 2022), we bought tickets from the actual park site because we didn't want to risk being scammed. That last part is on me because no one made me buy a different ticket, but the printer thing is messed up.

I had read lots of horror stories about visiting in August. We booked tickets for opening time (7 am) and did the long route (K- approx 20 km). We had a great time and it was really worth the visit, the photos don’t do it justice. We hit some queues towards the end of our route as different routes converged but it was to be expected and we didn’t have to wait very long.

Incredible beauty, you don’t need to stay local, do a day trip from Zadar as everything local is expensive and hidden cost. We went in May which was perfect as not too hot or too many people. The water was also high and very powerful so saw the falls at their best. The walkways are amazing as you are walking at the water height

bought the "tickets" & realised these are **non-refundable**. They sell vouchers which need to be exchanged for entry tickets with tour. There is a Croatian contact number but no email contact in the booking receipt. I booked the 08:00 entry at entrance 1. Are the vouchers2ticket exchange at the entrance 1 ticket office (but the park entry not relayed to Gulliver Travel??)?

I am visiting from overseas so calling Croatian direct is almost impossible until I'm there. In this modern age, at least an email contact must be given.

We drove 2 hours up from Selce to see the lakes. The rain was off putting but we bought two umbrellas.. then we saw the entry fee. Sorry Croatia but 39€ per adult to walk around a lake is daylight robbery. We drove back to senj and spent the money eating fine food. Croatia thinks this pricing is justified, I think many will stay away. Sad really!

Plitvic lakes are definitey spectacular. May was a good time to visit but there were already a noticeable amount of people. However half of the park was closed for us. Also tickets seem to be way cheaper on the spot than online.

Plitvika Lakes was Gorgeous. Go early before the tour buses arrive! I give 3 stars due to the ticket cancellation policy. My husband reserved a hotel room that included passes, I booked passes w/o this info. I tried multiple avenues to get a refund and was declined. So this put a damper on our experience.
