Highlight of my Costa Rica experience
The cloud forest hanging bridges were awesome! I love nature, so getting to walk through the forest and admire different wildlife was spectacular. We even saw some black Guam birds and emerald toucans! The zip lining was AMAZING. I’ve read some reviews who are disappointed the Superman isn’t included in the tour. Technically speaking, it is. You still do the zip line tandem, however, if you want to fly like Superman, it’s an extra $13. Well worth the price. I felt like I was truly flying and could have cried it was so amazing Photos of the experience was $20 for the whole catalog of photos they took. I also felt like this was a great value, considering that other places that do pictures like this charge the same price for one or two photos. Our tour guide, Manuel, was so friendly! This tour was definitely the highlight of my trip.

      Great Vibe
This was a great tour. The waterfalls were beautiful, the food was excellent and our guides were so knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystem of the parks. I love it. I came with a friend but it was also family friendly which is always a plus.

      You Won’t Be Disappointed!
Don’t miss this adventure! The zip lining through the forest and canyon was amazing. The skilled operators kept us feeling safe—-even on the Tarzan Swing! Horseback riding was good, but we were very ready for the tubing, as our ride was very dusty. Tubing was terrific—again the men running it were great at keeping us moving and handling the easy rapids. The hot springs and mud bath capped off a perfect day.

      Get to Know Costa Rica
This tour was a great first day introduction to Costa Rica. Our guide, Kevin, was amazing. So enthusiastic and knowledgeable about everything we were seeing! Lots of walking up and down trails and steps, and he was very patient with everyone. Lunch was good. Lots of bus riding, though, so bring a book!

Beautiful hike to a gorgeous waterfall
The tour was wonderful and the staff was excellent. We got a chance to see a lot of different animals and the water fall was gorgeous. If you hit traffic on the way back, you may take an hour or so longer .

A great day out getting close to wildlife
We did this day tour with Harold and Jenner guiding and driving on 8th April 2024. We really enjoyed the pace of the trip and the jungle walks. Swimming at the first waterfall was excellent and refreshing and the jungle walk to the Llanos de Cortes fall with its azur water was not too strenuous at all. We even enjoyed the cooling light rain that fell as we returned for a delicious lunch. We were lucky, the heavens opened as we were eating and we watched the tropical downpour from undercover. The highlight of the tour was the visit to the sloth sanctuary where we could get up close to juvenile sloths in their natural habitat, safe in the knowledge that our visit was being curated such that we would not harm the wildlife (including the sloths). We learned that sloths are intolerant to mosquitoe repellent which can kill them. We were grateful for the advice of our guides throughout the trip and also their ability to find wildlife in places we could never see. We stopped at a coffee and chocolate plantation on the way back which was OK but not a highlight at the end of a long day. Overall it was a great day, well organised and guided.

      Fun time!
Such a great tour! Highly recommend. Kevin is a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. Also thanks to Diego for driving! You do spend some time in the van, but that's when you get to know your group. The eco sanctuary was so fun. You can tell the guides there, Daniel and Wilton, love their job. They are excited to point out animals and will happily take photos through their monocular for you. Overall, great experience.

A fun filled day of adventure and beauty
An incredible day filled with so much fun, adventure, and beauty! Our tour guide was amazing, on the hike, they will locate amazing wildlife and exotic plants and stop to give some basic facts and help with photos etc. The tour offers delicious food, bathroom breaks and bottled water. They really do think of everything, so you can enjoy your day to the max!

      So many animal sightings!
Our tour guide Michael was great at making sure we had a great time and got to see so many different animals and sights that are unique to Costa Rica! We had some initial confusion meeting up with the rest of the group since we drove ourselves, but after we cleared that up, Michael made sure to stay in constant communication and made sure we got to enjoy and see everything his tour bus did. If you choose to drive yourself, I would recommend contacting the tour company the night before to know exactly when and where to meet the rest of the group. We got a great taste of all Costa Rica has to offer during this tour, which helped us plan our activities for the rest of the trip. The hike down to Rio Celeste is a little wet, so be sure to wear sneakers with good tread, but overall, the hike is super doable! Michael also took every opportunity to pull over on the side of the road to point out local animals and plants including toucans, monkeys, and sloths! We would definitely recommend this tour!

Jam-packed with fun but somewhat rushed and too many tubes on the river
TLDR: Recommend, but be prepared for a somewhat rushed day with only 10-15 minutes between activities and a very late lunch. The details: Good: -- Our guide Edgar was always with us, making sure we had what we needed. -- It was convenient to be able to leave stuff on the bus in between activities. -- The zip-lining was fun and efficient; we were at the beginning of our group and rarely had to wait. -- The horseback riding was enjoyable and through nice trails. -- We paid for the photos ($70 for 4 people) and we received many good photos of the different activities. Bad: -- The river tubing was fun but there were way too many tubes in our group. It was more like bumper cars with bumping into other tubers and a traffic log jam at each small waterfall passage. The guides were behind us pushing us the whole way, which took away the relaxing feeling from it, more like a push down the river than a float. -- The hot springs visit at the end (1 hour) was far too rushed to be enjoyable. It took 10 minutes to walk down to the hot springs and 10 minutes to walk back, plus Edgar advised us to allow 15 minutes to change, so that left us only 25 minutes at the hot springs, which was not enough time for a mud bath and relaxing soak afterward. Room for improvement: -- Rather than having 3 activities and then lunch, there should be an option for lunch after 2 activities. Also, we had only 1 hour for lunch, and we did not get our drinks/juices at lunch until lunch was almost over. -- Sometimes we could not hear Edgar when he was giving us instructions on the bus.

No refunds no warnings, not worth it.
I didn’t go. I didn’t even know I was booked. I looked into the trip, started to fill out the information, but then I navigated away from the page because I I realized I couldn’t do some of the excursion because of injuries. I never got a confirmation email or anything. I walked away, not thinking twice about it and looked into other chores that I would be able to do comfortably. Until the day before this tour I didn’t know I confirmed, I got a text telling me that I was going. Another time I went on tours in Costa Rica, they sent notifications in advance with enough time to cancel if necessary. A day before, and considering it starts at 6:30 AM, (and I do not wake up that early), I missed the 24 hour cancellation mark with this tour. One good thing is their customer service was very nice, for the most part, but they did not give me a refund. I’ve never lost that much money before, it may not be a lot of money to some, but it is to me. I begged them for a refund, telling them about certain very difficult hardships I was working through, and they still did not oblige. After the pandemic, while we’re in a recession, we need to do better. . I understand there are policies involved in big corporate companies, but since corporations rule the world, what a wonderful world it would be if they gave the little people a break every once in a while, and went against their policies because of circumstances don’t you think?

Guide was really knowledgeable. A lot of driving but I enjoy seeing the country. Driver was great. Guide knew a lot about the indigenous people and their la gauge and use of the plants, also the social structure of the monkeys.

WOW! This will definitely replace your workout for the day! It was rather windy for the day which made it that much more difficult. However Joshua was fantastic! He encouraged us all the way out, guided us while snorkeling and walked us around the island. The wind picked up before heading back so Joshua put me in the double kayak with him, and together we towed my friend back to the beach. The snorkeling wasn't the best, but Joshua really made the experience worthwhile.

Rinaldo was our guide to this great snorkeling experience at Captain's Island. We kayaked out. It was fairly easy to get there. We have been snorkeling in Key West, Aruba and Maui, but saw fish here that we had not seen in any of those places. Rinaldo took time to prepare our goggles so that the viewing was crystal clear. We had plenty of underwater time to view the sealife. Really enjoyed it!

We have a family of four with two teens. Our tour guide was Joshua, who was outstanding! We had our own private tour with him, and took two double kayaks. He led us to kayak to the island, and then snorkeled in the water around the island with Joshua showing us various wildlife. We saw beautiful fish, see urchins, and starfish. We then walked around the island, which was beautiful and then kayaked back to Tamarindo. This trip was a lot of fun!

The kayaking trip was fun except the weather didn’t cooperate so it wasn’t safe to snorkel. It was fun exploring the island, tide pooling and watching all the hermit crabs. Our guide, Raynaldo, was fun and knowledgeable.
