      Fabulous day!
We had a FABULOUS time on this boat all day! Took my family of 5 (3 teenage boys). We couldn’t have had a better time. We danced, laughed, ate a great lunch, swam off the boat, snorkeled. Well worth every penny! Great experience!

We had a blast on Ti-Marouba! Highly recommend, the staff were wonderful hosts, music was great, drinks were refreshing and the food was delicious! We are a family of four, two kids, 18 and 21 yrs old and the kids said it was the best! They even had my daughter reel a fish in, and release but how fun! The sunset at the end was glorious. ☀️ We would definitely do this again, well worth the money! Gracias to all the amazing staff!

      Truly magical experience!!
My husband and I stayed in Jaco for a week with our 3 year old and heard about this boat tour from the locals. We decided to give it a shot, and let me tell you it was INCREDIBLE! Seeing the mountainous shoreline from the sea was like being on another planet, not to mention the dolphins and huge humpback whales we saw. They came right up next to the boat!! Very reasonably priced and the tour guides were kind and spoke great English. They earned our tips! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Jaco and we will do this again if we come back. 10/10

It was offer as a Snorkeling sunset catamaran tour with food and drinks all included. Fabulous music, the crew was prepared for get you pretty drunk and there was no safety instruction or location of any life vest, the compartmet were for the bags and towels or whatever you want to bring.
The crew was very restricted of food, after i

asked where the appetizer, the guide said to me that will be served 45 minutes after the trip started, (just 3-5 pieces of chips and probably a 3 spoons of pico de gallo) I asked for more and he said maybe later, they did it. When arrived to the bay (playa huevo) the guide said no snorkeling because the weather, there was no equipment for, and of course there was no partial refund for it, most of the people on the boat where so extremely drunk that nobody was even interested in the just 30 minutes swimming, Apparently the fun part was looking at all the foreign young girls falling on the deck totally drunk while dancing. I personally filed a complaint with the broker who arranged this trip and he said he will be communicating with owner of tour. Definitely is not for family, I did before the Catamaran in Manuel Antonio and definitely I spent a fabulous time. When the food was served, I made my line for pick up my food and gave it to my husband and came back for pick up my food and the guide asked me if I already ate my food, seriously????? I was so done with this tours, I even missed the sunset and counting the time for get back to shore. and finally when we arrived to Tamarindo area while transporting from the Catamaran to the small Panga a girl felt in the water, It was very dark any kind of light what so ever and of course no life vest for anybody. Not recommended for family and less if you have kids!

Hello dear friend. You certainly bought a tour ticket on the beach, where tour sellers usually "sell our tour" because we have the only specialized day charter catamaran in the area, but then sell tours on other boat where they gain a larger comision. Food is prepared by a professional chef who always makes extra for everybody. We always mantain a close control on people who go on board for security reasons, but when a client wants to have some drinks, we can't tell them no, specially after they payed for open bar. Finally, if the captain said snorkeling is not allowed because of weather conditions (some days can be really windy) then we can't let anyone go snorkel near the rocks, again for security reasons. I hope you have a good day.

Awesome party!! I originally booked a sunset boat thing though my hotel and as I arrived on the beach the company I booked with told me they didn't have enough people and that they'd try to get me on another boat (blerg.) But that turned out to be lucky for me because I ended up with Ti Marouba!

Gorgeous boat, with this totally awesome net portion on the front that you can ride on and it bounces along with the waves like a trampoline. So fun.

IMPORTANT TIP: Take the non-drowsy dramamine before you go. Even if you don't really get motion sick / sea sick, just do it. I'm grateful I did. The poor lady barfing off the front of the boat had a rough go of things.

So you'll meet up on the beach and look for the folks in the Ti Marouba shirts. Then you'll get into a little boat that drives you out to the big boat anchored a bit off shore. It can be a bit of a balancing act getting in/out of both boats but the the crew is very helpful.

You'll then take a fast fun cruise out to an island where you'll dock up quite a ways off shore of the island. The boat comes equipped with pool noodles, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel equipment so any activity you'd like to do while you're docked is available. If you'd like to see wildlife or explore the island you'll need a kayak or paddle board as it's quite a swim. I didn't make the journey but the folks on the boat that did said they saw sea turtles! They'll also feed you a simple but delicious dinner while you're docked.

It's definitely a party vibe and it was a great time!! Can't recommend it enough.

The hospitality of the crew was the best thank you to the whole crew captain Bismarck, Jordan, Justin and Brandon. The fact that the wind was so gusty strong 55mph the captain made the choice to not to go to our destination where they plan to anchored and spend time to snorkel it was the right and safe choice for everyone so I thank you Captain Bismarck. The food was good but I was under impression supposedly lunch but it got served just after 5pm I have no problem with that so be prepared not expect an early lunch. There was only one head available at that time and there was no lock or a latch at the door so its a bit uncomfortable for my wife to use it but other than that for what they charge per person it’s worth to give it go..I definitely recommend 💯

So what could possibly go wrong for 50 people to go on a booze cruise and snorkeling on the beach?

Well what if half the boat can’t swim?

What if the number of life preservers was half the total needed for the boat?

What if the captain and crew did not half life guard training? And what if they were hammered as well?

All these things happened on our cruise. The crew sent one paddle boarder who picked up a single kid. My wife swam out and personally pulled in 2 more. When I asked the crew if we should take out kayaks off the boat, they shrugged and asked if we wanted anything to drink.

Everyone made it back safe. One of the kids was a bit tramatized from almost drowning and his mom wasn’t around as she couldn’t swim.

Perhaps, one could say the Mexican nationales shouldn’t have gotten off the boat which would be true. But at the same time the crew was Ill prepared for an incident which is frightening if you have 50 people a day for 350 days a year (15,250 people a year). One day someone will die a preventable death on this cruise.

Otherwise I’d know how to swim and don’t have young kids and don’t too much, you should be ok. Minus the trauma or watching people almost drown this was a great trip. Bravo!

This company is reckless and will put your well-being at risk for their own profit.

My husband and I planned a half day catamaran excursion with Ti Marouba through our wedding planner a day before our wedding in Tamarindo. The day of, water looked a little rougher than usual but company management ensured us that the waters would be calmer once we got out of the bay. That was the beginning of lies and poor client relations…took us over an hour to get out to the boat and within 45 minutes of setting sail, 50% of our wedding guests were seasick, vomiting etc. This boat was full of adults > 50, imagine watching your great aunt at 83 vomiting off the side of a boat!! We asked if our sick passengers could be picked up or brought ashore and then return out and Ti Marouba refused. We returned horrified for the well-being of our guests, ate none of the food or drink that we paid for and received no discount / partial refund, nor an option to reschedule the excursion to another date. Terrible business management and strongly do not recommend - use at your own peril!

Amazing trip! We went 1/7/23. We boarded the Cat from a dingy that we met on the beach. Sailed out to a secluded island and got to swim, kayak, and stand up paddle for about an hour. We were told that the water conditions would prevent us from snorkeling. But it is the windy season, and afternoons can be rough on the water at this time. We were told that if we were lucky, we may see dolphins, and if we were real lucky, we would get to see a whale. Well, we were extremely lucky and got to see 6 whales! The captain did a great job getting us views without disturbing them. We followed them almost all the way back to the beach we began our trip at until they headed toward the sunset, and we turned back to land. It was amazing!

Lovely afternoon on this sunset sail. It was a bit crowded and lots of 20 somethings fully taking advantage of the open bar, but with the nets available for seating we had enough room. Not a lot of communication from the crew - usually in the beginning they make announcements and intros but that didn’t happen till we were well on our way. Be aware that in order to get to the catamaran you take a small boat from the beach and will likely get a bit wet. They took our shoes from the smaller boat (you can’t wear shoes on the catamaran). Open bar was fine - drinks are sweet and watered down but the bartender made fun non alcoholic drinks for our teenagers. We went to a small beach where we were able to do some snorkeling. At first not much to see but if you go close to the rocks and follow them around you can see some cool fish. We saw a huge puffer fish and lots of small colorful ones too. Water was pretty wavy and got a little cloudy. They had a kayak people could take turns using and a stand up paddleboard and lots of pool noodles to use to float around. My Teenagers enjoyed hanging out in the net and floating around in the water. Water was beautiful but my daughter got stung by some kind of jellyfish. One of the crew members used some vinegar to help soothe the sting. They served lunch on the ride back. Food was decent - Chicken, rice and beans, salad and veggies. And the crew walked around with a watermelon and pineapple after. The sunset was gorgeous and the captain turned the boat to make sure we could all enjoy. Getting back in we took another transfer boat. We didn’t get a lot of instruction and when we all got up to get off a wave came and knocked a bunch of us down inside the boat. So be careful exiting! All in all a beautiful day and a nice way to end our vacation.

Good Afternoon Thank you for leaving a review with us. We are glad to hear that overall the tour was a good experience. The crewmates usually are very communicative on the tour (they have three different speaches troughout the tour) perhaps they were really busy as it was a full boat day. We are sorry for the waves in the small transport boat, usually the waves are not as big as to get people wet onboard. We will work on these small things so we get better as a company. Thank so much for your review! Have a nice day.

The catamaran trip was awesome. Once you get on the ship the crew of three worked fast to get the boat on the move & explained howthe trip was going to play out. Once they got the show on the road within 5 or 10 minutes they were ready to make drinks & get the party started. You basically cruise the coast about a half a mile out at sea. So prepare for some bigger waves & to be on a boat that will be rockin. If it's an issue for you sit towards the middle of the boat & keep your eyes on the horizon. We ran into about three dolphins & a sea turtle which was awesome. The snorkeling part can about two hours in. You can take a kayack to the beach if you need some land or you can swim to a rocky area & see some sea life. They feed you at this point as well. We had chicken, rice, veggies, salad, & beans made by el capitan. The food was excellent. Then you sail back & enjoy the sunset. Weather was not optimal for us but it was still beautiful to see ththe city at night. Hope this helps!

I have been on many catamaran cruises and this one was quite typical. The boat was full of friendly people, many out for a really good time. The crew was friendly and helpful as well. The boat was very nice, with some shade options available. They sold out the day we went, and 50 guests on board made it pretty crowded and very lively. We actually sailed out which I really appreciated since on many outings, the sails are never raised. The coastline was pretty, but nothing spectacular, and the same for the cove. We swam as there wasn’t much to see with the snorkel.

Lunch was good, the booze was flowing. Lots of Latin music and dancing. All in all, a good time was had. I gave it a 4 because I thought it was pretty expensive and crowded on board. I also would have liked a safety briefing. They never told us where the life jackets were! Thank goodness we didn’t need them.

This is definitely a party boat so don't expect a quiet, peaceful, low key sailing trip. But if you go knowing this in advance, you'll have a good time.

We had around 48 people on our afternoon/sunset trip and 95% of them were 20 somethings that just wanted to drink and party non-stop from the time they got on until the time they got off. My wife and I are in our 60's and there were maybe 2-6 other passengers that were around the same age but we're always up for a good time and they seemed to be too.

The club music goes on non-stop throughout the entire trip to get everyone in the parting mood. Unlimited drinks included a variety of alcohol, beer and mixers. After a stop to snorkel, paddle board or kayak, they serve a rather tasty BBQ chicken lunch while sailing back just in time for sunset.

Again, this is all about the party on the boat. There's nothing really to see at the snorkeling spot so other than just jumping in for a quick swim, it's all about just being out on the water, drinking and having a good time...which we did.

Hola thank you for this very honest review. We are not a truly party boat we adapt the tour depends the group we have ,some time mellow some time a little party. And the snorkeling can be great or sometime the visibility is poor depend the swell on this part of the coast we never know .
