Overview
Explore Ketchikan and its surroundings by a battery-powered electric bike on this eco-tour. Head off from the marina along the paved bike path to get to the Tongass National Forest. Trek through the wilderness passing salmon-filled streams, a waterfall, and amazing views of the landscape filled with Alaskan wildlife.
What to Expect

Explore the lush and unique Alaskan rainforest with this is small-group—maximum of six guests—tour with a maximum, perfect for cruise ship passengers. Maximize your port time by combining multiple activities on this combination e-bike and hiking tour.

Using an electric bike, head along Ketchikan’s paved bike path to the trailhead. Electric bikes can cover more distance and are much more fun than traditional bicycles making the journey much easier. This leaves you with plenty of energy for the hike through the Tongass National Forest.

After mounting your bike, head into the lush rainforest of Southeast Alaska, which receives over 200 inches of rain each year. Explore the flora and fauna of the area including streams filled with salmon and deer roaming around the forest. There’s even a chance to see porpoises, seals, sea lions, and even humpback whales from the beach on the way back to the port or your hotel.
