About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Tedar20010 contributionsPersonalized tours made our visit more memorableWe used Andres to tour Buenos Aires for a private day tour. He was friendly and made sure that we got to see the highlights of this beautiful city and learn about Argentina’s history. Most importantly he took the time to get to know us and personalized the tour to our interests that made our tour more special. And Andres was flexible to handle a personal situation, and we appreciated his assistance to get this resolved. We also used his associate Brenda for an art tour of Buenos Aires. An artist herself, she showed us sights that we would have not visited , including tiled houses street of Pasaje Lanin where we met with the artist himself! It’s these kinds of connections that made our private tours of BA even more memorable!Written 23 January 2025
- chubbyfemale0 contributionsA nice experience to rememberI'm having a good experience with this private tour. The tour guides were really full of excitement to explain everything in Buenos Aires. As a first-time visitor to Buenos Aires, I appreciate that a lot, and it makes me enjoy the trip very well. Thank you for the tour. Keep the good work.Written 18 December 2024

- BookReviewer10 contributionsThe perfect tour for your first trip to Buenos AiresAbsolutely fabulous tour with Alexandra and scheduling with Andres. We had one day in the city to see and learn as much as possible before departing on a cruise. This tour delivered such a great experience at a fair price. The guide met us at our hotel and coordinated with a private driver to ensure we got to see so many wonderful parts of the city, embrace the culture, try the foods, enjoy the art, and savor such great foods. Cannot recommend highly enough.Written 1 December 2024

- Terri S0 contributionsAmazing Boat Ride and Adventure on the Tigre Delta! If you are going to splurge on anything on your Visit to Bueno Aries this Private Boat Tour to the Tigre Delta is the thing to do. Our Tour Guide Andres was very knowledgeable in the history and details of Bueno Aries and the Tigre Delta. From our pickup at our hotel to the river he drove us through the city and delighted us with his live commentary about everything we passed by. When we reached the river, we went on an hour + scenic cruise through the remote charming islands on the Tigre Delta and River. It was fascinating, tranquil and very relaxing. Don’t miss this on your visit!Written 7 October 2024
- 659scotte0 contributionsA Fantastic Tour with a Brilliant GuideOur tour guide, Andres, was exceptional. He arrived early for our appointed time, was warm and welcoming, and his car was new, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Andres gave us a personalized history of Buenos Aires and Argentina, including photographs, maps, and anecdotal stories of early settlers and various revolutionary figures, including Juan and Eva Peron. My wife and I have traveled extensively, all over the world, and we have had many tour guides. Andres ranks as one of the very best, and we heartily recommend him.Written 23 August 2024
- 247gedg0 contributionsExcellent tour!My wife and I loved this tour. Mirta our guide and Hugo our driver were both excellent. Mirta was so informative and made the very best of our four hour trip. This gave us a fantastic overview of this wonderful city. Thank you so much.Written 4 March 2024

- SanDiegoW_traveler0 contributionsFantastic experience with Lourdes as our guideHad a great private tour with Lourdes. She was exceptionally knowledgable and clearly loves what she was doing. Most importantly, she was very responsive to our needs, and really customized the the tour to what we wanted to see and do (many private tours still give you a "canned" tour". Highly recommend the company and especially LourdesWritten 19 February 2024
- kahnkatharine0 contributionsTwo Excellent Guides in ArgentinaI traveled with my daughter to Buenos Aires for a week. We hired both Andres (1/2 day city tour) and Alexandra ((Tigre) through Tours by Locals. I would recommend them both very highly for giving us both a fun and informative experience.Written 9 February 2024
- DunamisArt0 contributionsA day that needs to last a weekOur day started at the port of Buenos Aires... Being picked up by Rosty who had a car and a driver with him. We drove down to the city and started at the Metropolitan cathedral watching probably the oldest change of guard ceremony. We were at the right time and made it to the perfect spot in the cathedral to see and capture the changing of the grenadier guards, who came from the Casa Rosada crossing the Plaza de Mayo to the mausoleum in the Cathedral. Enjoyed seeing and hearing it's history and artificats. Then proceeded towards the May square and posed in front of the pink house... Headed across to see the obelisk and then drove down to Boca with its colourful houses and street vendors, ate some street food and bought souvenirs and went to the La Bombonera stadium or the chocolate box called like so due to its unique shape. Then we drove down to San Telmo, one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires, there was a street flea market selling very many unique Argentinian crafts and then visited the store of the most prestigious silversmith in the country Juan Carlos Pallarols who is around 80 years of age.... Met with man himself and then wandered across to the famous Mercado de San Telmo. This is a vibrant market bustling with countless stalls offering a diverse range of antiques for sale and offering very typical Argentinian cuisine. We ate some grilled meats and some lovely empanadas... We in fact boxed some empanadas to take back to our ship too. From here we drove down to Hangar Uno and took a helicopter across the city Seeing the many stadiums and city from the air was indeed very fulfilling and satisfying. This was for nearly 45 minutes by the time it was the end of the day and we headed back to port and got back to the ship... Only to wish to come back again for a better and longer trip in the future... Would say Rosty is knowledgeabke and a splendid tour guide.... He made Buenos Aires come aliveWritten 24 January 2024
- dianehX6601MY0 contributionsGreat tour if you have just one day in Buenos Aires!Communication with Andres was so easy. We made several changes and it was never a problem. Our guide Lourdes was knowledgeable and friendly. Our driver was terrific. Lourdes sat with us in van so we could all hear her! She made great suggestions for lunch and snacks. We saw so much in one day. We all want to return and spend more time in Buenos Aires now.Written 31 December 2023
- Dianne G0 contributionsFabulous Customized All Day Tour of Buenos AiresMy husband and I had an all day tour with tour guide Alexandra and driver Hugo. She was so knowledgeable of the ins and outs of the city, its history, also very personable. Hugo was a great driver. Since it was a customizable tour, we spent more time in the Rose Garden (we’re big walkers and the parks and open spaces are awesome) and went on our own the next day to the famous cemetery since was in our neighborhood. We totally recommend this company and these guides.Written 19 November 2023

What an amazing day, we saw the main sights of the city and the commentary/historic background provided by Marina was exactly what we needed to understand both the sights and the people. We had lunch in the market, a perfectly cooked steak, it was delicious and very reasonably priced :o). There was plenty of time to explore the various sites. The air conditioned car was in very good condition and the driver, Roberto, knew the city like the back of his hand. At the end of each walk Marina would call Roberto and he would be there with the car almost instantly. Very well organised. My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone needing to discover the ciry in a day.

Highly recommend this tour of Buenos Aires to first time visitors and repeat visitors of the city alike. Our guide Fernanda was excellent. She was extremely friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city and country. She tailored the tour to our interest, which as first-time visitors of the city was to get a glimpse of the history and culture of the different neighborhoods in BA. Huge thank you, Fernanda, and our driver Ruben for our incredible day together. Additionally, as the tour included a personal driver, we were able to maximize every minute of the city. The benefit of having a personal driver included in our private tour cannot be overstated as we were able to explore the city without the stress of waiting for a cab or bus. Would highly recommend this tour and will be using them again on my next visit to BA.

We had Andres and he was an absolute professional. He toured us through the city for roughly six hours and walked us through all the important highlights with ease. He was super nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this tour if you have a free day in Buenos Aires. It was the best way to see the city and learn some of its history.

5/5 Highly recommended! Andrés was easy to understand, very friendly, accommodating and a good driver. He was very knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. Car was spacious for two tall adults and clean. The tour itself was entertaining, a great quick preview of many of the city’s neighbourhoods and can be flexible if you have any special requests. Would highly recommend it!

The entire day was very thought provoking. my tour guide, Andres, was exceptional!
He was well-versed in the cities history, communicated very well in English, and was a joy to be with. we visited many historical sites, and also toured through both the poor and wealthy parts of the city. he was a very good driver, and I felt very safe. I highly recommend the personal one day tour with Andres as you will get more time to ask any questions during the day. Buenos Aires is an interesting city steeped in history, and has many contrasts. The tour will certainly make one think.

It was amazing. Daniela, our guide, managed to make it an unforgettable experience. She was very knowledgeable, and was able, through her passion for her job, to share not only the beauty of the city but also the cultural aspects of the Porteños and the Buenairenses as well as some recipes. Thank you Daniela!

I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to take this tour and Andres was the guide. I really had a great time.
He picked us up from the airport and showed us about the city as if he was meeting with friends. History of the places we visited was given, a lot of laughter
Andres was very accommodating to our request and we were never in a hurry. Enjoyed the Recoleta cemetery reminded me of the cemetery in New Orleans but was more beautiful. Since it was Saturday we got to experience the market and its liveliness. The food and colorful house in La boca was a great time everyone should see and enjoy. The church of the current pope was absolutely beautiful. If you have time this is a great tour to experience.

This was the best tour we have EVER taken.
Our guide, Rosty, was extremely knowledgeable, articulate, thoughtful and funny. He clearly loves his city and it showed. He was able to put historical facts in context, not only of Argentina but also of the rest of the world. He listened to us, observed our reactions, and was able to taylor the tour to our interests.
Our driver, Oswaldo, was careful and very helpful.
We could not have been happier with this tour.

We did the private tour on our trip to Buenos Aires, and it was well worth it! We got to learn so much about the history of Buenos Aires, as well as see so many attractions we would not have otherwise seen. Our tour guide was also very flexible, in making sure we got to see the attractions we were interested in. We even got a great recommendation for lunch!

Really enjoyed this private tour. Our tour guide (Andres) took us all over and gave an excellent history lesson of the city!!! He is amazing! We appreciated the interesting stories and facts. We also appreciated him gauging our interest for certain stops. We were able to spend more time at the places that suit our style and interest. There are two of us. We each have a medium size check bag and carry on . We each also have small soft under seat bags about the size of small backpacks. Will the two extra small bags be ok?
