          Stunning views
This was exactly what we wanted. The bus was clean and the drive felt safe. Our guide, Guadalupe, shared history about the region and the glacier. She previewed the glacier viewing paths. She was very clear about times, especially when and where to meet the bus for our return trip. Then, we were let go to enjoy the walks and the view. The cost was in line with our expectations. We had 4 hours at the Glacier Pathways, giving us time to walk all of the paths, eat at the restaurant, and walk back to the bus. Highly recommend, even if you’ve seen other glaciers.

          A very expensive bus ride
They bring you to the park Glacier on a bus, then you do the ferry ride and then you do your walk through the park for 1h30. The park is an additional $45 (usd) and it's per day so beware if you do another trip. The boat ride is totally not worth it because you can see it as well if not better from the walk in the park so it's basically a very expensive bus ride. I don't recommend this tour, it's really a tourist trap. Instead you could probably rent a car or just an actual bus ride and pay the park. The Glacier is really cool to see anyway. Also all the prices are incredibly inflated everywhere, so bring food and water. The only normal supermarket is "La anonima" in El Calafate.

          Absurd Prices
Nothing to say against the Glacier as it was amazing. Unfortunately the experience ended up being a really expensive walk, bus ride and park ticket, total amount of about $104.00 just to see sights the glacier. Prices are getting ridiculously high just to enter the park, plus, inside they try to squeeze more money out of you in every way possible.

But another tour operator, no airport transfers!
Don't book here, they are always delayed, you miss your check in, you miss your flight! Bossy and unprofessional communication! Glaciares gourmet boat tour badly organized, drivers looks always on the smartphone, bus were the last at boat Harbour! Badly organized, you pay online national Parc fees, but Patagonia Dreams are not able to change this into tickets like other tour operators, so you queued up in the line where they buy the entrance ticket

          Great experience!
Trip was seemless from pick up to drop off. Tour guide Tobias was very nice and always translated to English when providing historic facts and details throughout the drive to the national park. He made sure he repeated the details of where to catch the boat, where he will be to pick us up after the boat ride and what time to be back on the bus to end the day. Tour picks you up from hotel and brings you to the park. I highly recommend the boat ride as it's the closest way to see the glacier. After the boat ride you have 2hoursish to walk the walkways which was perfect amount of time. It was a great day and worth doing.

          5 stars for Maxi!
We did the Ice Trek and Glacier tour with Maxi. Her knowledge of patagonia and its nature was incredible (especially in her second language, her English was brilliant!) I would thoroughly recommend this tour and company to anybody

          Absolutely amazing glacier tour
The most incredible tour. Really informative guide who spoke both English & Spanish. Stopped at a great look out, then onto a 1 hr boat tour up close to the glacier, then had 2 hours to complete a walk of a choice of 3 and have some afternoon tea. Best day ever. The glacier is just fantastic.

Money is a BIG problem in Argentina
There is no money in Argentina. Do not book anything that requires cash. The banks are inept and can only dispense small amounts of money with high fees. Please do not book anything in advance and do not book any places that want cash. There's is NO cash here. Their economy is stuffed. I would recommend booking accom when you are about to come because if you book in advance....you are paying too much. Either bring USD in cash or you are in trouble. Some places charge 20% to use a credit card. That is because they know their money will drop in value before they get payment. Tricky landscape....but still great.

          Glaciers are stunning
We decided to go for the full "Gourmet" trip and included the disembarking at Perito Mereno Glacier. The Spegazinni Glacier was worth the time and money spent doing the sailing tour. We took a boxed lunch from our B&B as was cheaper. The pick ups were good and organization of the tour was excellent. However, if you are on a budget, just a visit to the boardwalks and a short boat ride at Perito Mereno is OK and a must do.

          glacier review
It was the cheapest excision we could find (which had the boat trip) and OMG it was so worth the price. The lady in charge was extremely knowledgeable and told us so much information on the bus, as well as pointing out some rare wildlife. so worth it !!!

          Best tour guide ever
This was an incredible experience from before the trip all the way through. The male tour guide (who's name I sadly forgot) was without exaggeration the best tour guide we've ever had. So great and informative in both Spanish and English and he made us all feel well taken care of. You can tell he cares and is really good at his job. Of course the glaciers were amazing as well. The roar of the glaciers when they break is simply breathtaking. The WhatsApp communication before the tour was also amazing. This company really has it together. 10/10 recommend!!

We had a great time! The journey started with 1.5hr bus, then a stop at La Leona, then another hour bus. After, we start out 4 hour hike to the lake with a great view of Mt Fitz Roy. Tiring hike but absolutely worth it. Our tour guide was very informative and really knows her history and numbers.

This excursion was a great taste of El Chaltén. My husband and I were picked up at our hotel around 7am, and after making the rounds to other area hotels, we departed for the ~2 hour drive to El Chaltén. There was a stop after about 1.5 hours for food, bathrooms, and to stretch our legs. The next stop was at a sign for Los Glaciares national park, with a scenic view of Mount Fitzroy, just for pictures, which was about 5 minutes.

After that, we headed for a short hike to a waterfall, which was about 1km and completely flat. There seemed to be some different excursions aboard our same bus and some people left the group at this point. The waterfall was nice and refreshing and enjoyable, but not the reason we went in this day trip.

Next, it was a short drive to another short hike. This one, Mirador de Los Condores, was not flat, though not challenging either. You get spectacular views of the jagged peaks of Patagonia nearly the whole way, with several asking the way. I’d recommend going a little farther up past the main viewpoint to take in the panorama in a little more solitude.

After that, we drive through the town and we’re given a little more than an hour to wander in our own and have lunch, before meeting up at the town sign (which had been pointed out) to drive back to El Calafate. Some people also prebooked lunch with the guide at this point. I can’t speak to their experience, but there were plenty of restaurants to choose from and it was nice to walk through the town at our own pace.

This was a great introduction to El Chaltén and certainly left me wanting more. I would have loved to hike much closer to Mount Fitzroy and enjoy the nearby lake, but obviously time is a factor and that just wasn’t going to be possible on a day trip. This allowed us to see a lot of beautiful scenery and get in a bit of movement, but it’s not a particularly active day. I’d recommend this to anyone staying in El Calafate who want to see those classic jagged peaks, but if I were doing it again, I would probably choose to spend at least a couple of days in El Chaltén itself for a more in-depth experience.

We had a Fabulous day in good weather but it would have been a long way to go if it was very cloudy. Comfortable mini bus. Efficient pickup and a very passionate and highly knowledgable guide who gave us limitless information. We chose the 3 hour self guided hike but there was a shorter option or you could stay in El Chalaten. Highly recommended

I had to cancel the excursion because they charged me in Mexican pesos and it was not clear how the conversion to Argentine pesos was. I canceled it more than 48 hours in advance so that they would refund what I had already paid. Although the payment was returned to me, they charged me a commission of more than 7 dollars that there was no way to claim back from anyone. Impossible to communicate with them.
In the end I did the excursion on my own, as advised by two local agencies. It's not worth hiring anyone.

Booked Laguna los tres from calafate. Was supposed to be unguided. Instead they sent us w/ another company that was fully guided, showed up an hour late (5am wake up). Guide immediately said we’re not going to top bc we got there late and was windy. But every other person we saw was going to the top. instead we did the 16km route that was flat + boring with only views of Fitzroy (beautiful but not worth it)

When we complained, they ignored all of my messages. Meanwhile the other company they pushed us too replied immediately so nicely and offered to take us for free the next day but we only had one day in calafate so we couldn’t.

Long trip to reach the town of El Chaltén with lots of small restaurants and stores. A quick, not too strenuous walk up a small mountain finally gave us the opportunity to have a view of El Chalten, a snowy mountain (November trip) which from afar seemed small. An overall long ride that mainly gave us the opportunity to view the Patagonian desert. The cost of the trip was fair, and we mainly considered it transportation, as the tour guide didn't say much, let alone Gastón, the bus driver.

On my first day in Calafate I found Patagonia Dreams on the main street of town, and booked excursions for the next four days.
They were extremely helpful and friendly, giving advice according to my person al wants and needs.
Every day they sent a WhatsApp message telling me the exact pick-up time at my hotel for the next day's trip.
The driver were professional and on time. The guide were considerate, friendly and always explain Ed everything to me in English, although all my fellow travelers spoke Spanish.
        My 4 excursions were amazing:
        1. Perito Moreno Glacier (walking)
        2. Glacier Boat ride
        3. El Chalten
        4. Visit to an Argentina ranch.

Patagonia Dreams also gave me a free transfer to the airport, and went out of their way to ensure I got on the correct flight (I had given them erroneous information, and they were worried about me!).

Was worried when I booked this trip that it would be too long . We were picked up at 07:30 from our hotel . The coach was very comfortable and the lady guide who’s name I can’t remember now gave a full itinerary in both excellent English as well as Spanish . The journey to el Calafate was around 3 hours but that included a short stop at la leone for refreshments. You were given a choice of what to do in el chalten , we opted for the self guided walk up to Laguna capri . We were given excellent instructions on where to go and exactly how long it should take . The scenery at Laguna capri and the view of Fitzroy was breathtaking, one of the greatest experiences of my life . The whole day in took just under 12 hours . Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore Patagonia from el Calafate . Great communications from the tour operator before and during the trip

Just came back from being in a bus for 11 hours, with hardly no knowledge of what went on, the tour guide could hardly speak English, there was no information as to what the day entailed, and the comentary was almost all in Spanish with the occasional broken English. No mention of Fitz Roy at any point, we were let off the bus at certain times, but not allowed to explore on our own, not told any information, a few of the other English speakers had no idea either with one couple asking at the end, when would they see Mount Fitz Roy! Poor Tour Guide, - left feeling dissatisfied and a waste of day, when you travel half way round the world for an experience and all you get is cramp from sitting down almost all day!

We enjoyed being able to comfortably drive from el calafate to el chaltén. It was a long drive so it was nice to sit back and relax. Fabian was our guide and he was very informative and very attentive, he made sure we all were having an enjoyable time and that we were all able to get pictures of the scenery.
