Overview
Sail through the Beagle Channel, following Charles Darwin's route, on this catamaran tour from Ushuaia. Getting out on the water and following this historic path allows you a deeper understanding of the events that took place in the region, and you'll benefit from guided commentary about the environment and wildlife. Highlights include Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, the End of the World Museum, Bird Island, Sea Wolves Island, and more.
What to Expect
Beginning with convenient pickup at your Ushuaia hotel, your adventure really starts when you board a catamaran for a sail through the Beagle Channel. Imagine what it must have been like for Charles Darwin sailing through this otherworldly landscape so many years ago.

Listen to your guide's commentary about Ushuaia's origins as a penal colony while passing the Olivia and Cincos Hermanos mountains. Trace Darwin’s journey past the Encajonado River and Fique Ranch, approaching the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. At Sea Wolves Island, view the sea lions, fur seals, and king cormorants that call the rocks home. At Bird Island, see skuas, petrels, and giant albatross. Return to Ushuaia through Paso Chico, getting dramatic views of Martial Glacier on the way. End with easy drop-off at your Ushuaia hotel.

Traveling by boat is the only way to recreate this historic journey, and booking ahead guarantees you won't miss out on this popular tour.
