Overview
Go offroad in Sedona's rugged desert terrain on a Jeep tour that follows a historic stagecoach route that runs between Sedona and Flagstaff. Choose from a 1.5-hour or 2-hour tour to see highlights that may include Damnfino Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon and the Mogollon Rim, which marks the edge of the Colorado plateau in Arizona. Stop for photo ops of the spectacular red rock formations and canyon scenery that makes this part of Arizona so famous, and learn about the region's history from your expert guide.
What to Expect
You can be picked up at your Sedona hotel or meet your guide at the designated point along State Route 89A. Hop in the Jeep and hang on as your guide expertly navigates rough dirt roads that take you deep into the wilderness.

Connect to a former stagecoach route that until 1914 was the only road between Sedona and Flagstaff. Climb steadily up the canyons to reach stunning sites such as Snoopy Rock, Teacup Rock, Coffee Pot Rock and Damnfino Canyon. Admire views of stunning Oak Creek Canyon as you wind your way to the Mogollon Rim, which marks the southern edge of the Colorado plateau in Arizona. The 2-hour tour includes an offroad jaunt along the scenic volcanic rim trail.

As you turn back towards town, marvel at views of Carousel Rock and the majestic valley below.

Please Note: upper portions of this trail may be closed in winter.

Bumpy But Oh So Worth It

Our family of 3 completely enjoyed this tour. Bumpy is an understatement! Michael was the ultimate tour guide, taking the bumps just right enough to enjoy the ride. He filled us in on the history of Schnebly Hill Road plus other interesting facts about Sedona....More

If you want off road touring, this one is for you. It's the old mail road for Sedona. Driver was just a little bit crazy at the wheel. There were moments I was actually afraid... but we made it. If you have back problems -...More

Thanks for your feedback. Glad you had a good tour and that Pearl got to show you some of you back country. I'm sure you can see why they don't recommend taking rental vehicles up those roads.

Enjoyable overview of Sedona

As we had limited time in Sedona, we were advised to undertake this to get a good overlook of Sedona from the mountains themselves. Not the most smooth of rides, you are are warned how bumpy it'll be in advance but its fun up on...More
