The experience was very special. Walking down the river in slow pace, taking time to feel the experience and enjoy the many animals active and hunting at night was great.
Plenty of snakes, frogs and spiders, for which we took all the time to enjoy. The music of the night in the jungle is another this that should really impress everyone.
I strongly advice to take the time for this special adventure.

I booked a nighttour with Nativos Corcovado at Drake Bay and it was a great experience. You get rubber boots and a flashlight from the guide and walk for 3 hours through the dark jungle. I saw many different frogs, snakes, insects, nocturnal monkeys and it was an adventurous experience crossing the river in the dark. The guide told me so much about all the animals and the rainforest ecosystem. I definitely recommend this hike for everyone who is interested in animals and ready for an adventure!

Really fun evening and such a great experience (very different from anything else). You see a wide variety of snakes, scorpions, spiders and frogs (which I never knew I would find so interesting). Your feet will probably get wet despite the provided wellies (which are more to protect from bites than water) but it is such a fun experience walking through a river at night amid the tadpoles. A very informative guide will take you across the family land from jungle to river. Overall a really fun and different experience!

A great experience. I hate snakes but I was actually fascinated by all the critters, including the snakes, on this tour. We were all given rubber boots and waded through rivers on our guide’s farm. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. We saw spiders, beetles, frogs and toads. Highly recommend this tour.

This was a really great outfit and a really great tour. My kids were completely exhausted, admittedly (we had come back from an overnight at Sirena earlier in the day), but I still really enjoyed this. Elbert was our guide and the hike is on his family's finca. The property has a beautiful river which was great for seeing all kinds of frogs, insects, and snakes. Despite walking past several fer-de-lances, Elbert and his brother inspired confidence and I felt safe with them working together to check that path and keep a keen eye as we walked. I highly recommend this. This outfit is super knowledgeable, and we learned a lot.

I’d like to thank Vista Drake Lodge for not only providing an amazing experience, but for pushing the tour back a half hour to let the rain stop so we didn’t have to reschedule the tour.
Luis was an amazing guide!! He obviously knows the area well and loves what he does. It was just me and he took things slow and was extremely patient with me (I’m slow and a bit clumsy). He worked so hard to make sure I saw so many animals, I finally saw my first snake in Costa Rica and it was a Fer De Lance! It was right after it rained so we saw a lot of different frogs. We also saw many lizards, bugs, spiders, sleeping birds, a scorpion, a coati jumping from tree to tree, glass frogs of many kinds, so many frogs I can’t remember the names of them all, and the red eye tree frog!! I’m so grateful to Luis for such an incredible tour.

EXCELLENT tour! When we were exhausted from a red eye into the country, they rescheduled our booking, no problem. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Our 12 year-old daughter loved it. We saw many frogs, a snake, and other animals. Highly recommend!

Our overnight tour was amazing. Back in Holland we arranged this trip with Emilio and that worked perfect. When arrived our guide José was waiting for us to get to the boat. During our hikes we have seen and learnt so much that we had to write it down. Jose is amazing and the park is so beautiful!

We spend some most fascinating hours with Albert in the jungle. It was amazing how many things he spotted and all the interesting facts we got to know. Everything in a calm manner, not just rushing from one animal to another. One of the best things we did in Drake Bay.

Had an amazing night tour with Luiz! We drove to the jungle in the back of an open pick up truck and then walked through the river with rainboots on allthough the water got above the rainboots! It was super fun and exciting! In the beginning i was a bit nervous hiking the river in the dark with dangerous animals but i soon found out the Luiz had everything under control and it was just a lot of fun!
