Stroll through the beautiful streets of downtown Chicago and taste all of the Windy City’s favorite eats! Bobby’s Bike Hike is America’s longest-running city bicycle tour company, whose walking tours have been recognized nationally by National Geographic, USA Today, and Conde Nast Traveler Magazine. This is Bobby’s quintessential culinary walking tour, complete with a slice of deep dish pizza, a Chicago-style hotdog, Italian beef sandwich, chocolates and pastries, as well as locally crafted beer. Bobby’s expert guides will lead you through downtown Chicago’s most iconic landmarks, including Millennium Park, State Street and Chicago Theatre, Chicago Riverwalk, Michigan Avenue, and the Wrigley Building, all the while regaling you with tales from Chicago’s rich food-centric history. This tour is sure to make memories that will last a lifetime!
  • Guide provides information about Chicago's history and culinary culture
  • Walking through the city gives a street-level view of top landmarks
  • Taste locally brewed craft beer with an optional upgrade (own cost)
  • All food samples included to give an overview of the city's most famous foods
What to Expect
Begin your day tasting Chicago’s most famous dishes with—what else?—a stop at the famous Giordano’s Pizzeria. You’ll meet your guide and group of fellow food-lovers there, where you’ll taste deep-dish, Chicago-style pizza before proceeding on your walking loop through downtown. Stroll outside on the surface streets, or if the weather is chilly, head inside to stay on the Chicago Pedway system, which keeps you warm and indoors through most of the walk. Head to Millennium Park to learn about its recent inception and its role as Chicago landmark, then walk along the Chicago River in pursuit of other tastes, such as hot dogs, sweets, and more. All food samples are included, and a locally brewed beer tasting can be added for an additional charge.

We visited Giordano's, a hot dog stand, Palmer Hotel, and Exchequer. Justin was a great guide, very knowledgeable about Chicago's history and wove the food in beautifully.

About 3-4 hours. A must tour. You start out at Giordano’s pizza and drink and eat the whole time. Also, we learned interesting facts about Chicago.
