Overview
Pack in the main highlights of the Kentucky thoroughbred horse scene into just a few hours without renting a car. This Kentucky horse farm tour takes you to the world-famous Keeneland racecourse and Calumet Farm in Lexington. On your tour, a guide details the Kentucky thoroughbred horse lifestyle and culture.
What to Expect
This Kentucky horse farm tour meets at the Embassy Suites Hotel on Newtown Pike. Board a waiting vehicle and get ready to explore the history and culture behind horseracing.

At the Keeneland racecourse, disembark and follow your guide on a walking tour of the grounds. Your guide dives deep into the history of the racetrack and thoroughbred horses.

Next, see Calumet Farm, a thoroughbred breeding and racing farm, and hear stories about its racing dynasty. You also visit the gravesite of a famous racing horse and filming locations from Seabiscuit.

Your Kentucky horse farm tour ends back at the original meeting spot.

Please note: During race meets in April and October, some afternoon tours will visit an alternate venue in place of Keeneland.

I would contact them. It was an extended van but I don't know their riles about strollers and car seats.

The tour really doesn't change when it's raining. Some of the sights are indoors, but many are outside, so just dress for the rain, bring an umbrella because you will be standing outside.
