We had a helicopter and rafting experience booked. There was an alarming lack of communication so I called the company who said they had been unable to fill the number of visitors required to make the helicopter ride viable, and they were trying to make it so that we wouldn't miss out. They were really good and were able to move our time to later in the day. This did mean a few last minute phone calls but they worked very hard to get us in, and I really thank the team for that.
We had our rafting first, with picnic lunch included. unfortunately the message had not gotten through that we are both vegetarian so there was one vegetarian meal (a salad) and that was labelled as peanut-free instead. it was fun ride and our guide Dave pointed out interesting features, and allowed us off the raft a couple of times to wander about. there was NO time for paddling or swimming as advertised, so that needs to be clarified on the selling information.
The helicopter ride was as amazing as we had hoped and our pilot Steph was lovely.
Overall a great experience, but the communication for the exact itinerary, clothing required and time frames could be improved

This was an amazing adventure. Started the day out right with an on-time hotel pickup with only 2 additional close by pickups. Checked in at the hanger and was ready for our flight in only a few minutes. We were lucky to score the front seats. The pilot Mike was very professional and knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and surrounding area on our flight. The flight was fabulous-you will never get a better view of the canyon!!!! After returning to the hanger after our flight we were met by our driver who took us in a van to Boulder City to meet up with our Kayak guide with Blazing Paddles. Another short van ride to Willow Beach to start our kayak adventure on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon!!!! We paddled down to Emerald Cave and then back to a beach for snacks. Then a short paddle to another stop and a short hike to an archeological site and then back to the marina at Willow Beach where we were picked up by our driver to take us back to Vegas. It was an awesome day-worth the money. (Only tip would be to take a snack to eat before the kayak trip because the lunch they serve (which was excellent) was on the way back to Vegas. If we wouldn't have brought extra food we would have been starving since breakfast was at 5am and that lunch was served at 2:30ish.)

This was a really fun day! We chose the Kayak option.
Pickup/drop off: Pickup from our hotel was at 5:55am, then we had a few more pickups at other locations and then a very short drive to the airport. You get checked in and store your belongings in a locker at the offices for the helicopter tour. You can get them back after the copter for the second half of the day. We were dropped off back at our hotel by 3:30pm after everything wrapped up.
Helicopter tour: This was fantastic! They put 6 people in the copter, 4 in the back and 2 up front next to the pilot. We were lucky to be up front so we had a great view! It’s a 90 minute round trip flight. Our pilot was good and gave us factoids as we flew. Honestly, the views were enough to keep us occupied for hours.
Kayaking: The kayaking was fun. It’s about a 3 hour total kayak experience (4 miles) with a short walk/hike in the middle for some great views/photos. You can choose a single or tandem kayak. The only let down was that we didn’t go at the correct time of day for the Emerald Cove to be glowing like we expected/was advertised. We also had to wait in line for quite a bit to get into the non-emerald cove. It was still a nice experience, but wasn’t what we were expecting. The Colorado River was still a gorgeous blue green though. The kayaking guides had snacks and water available throughout the trip. A boxed lunch that you choose from several options in the morning was also provided after the kayak tour finished. I’m not sure if the boat option got a full lunch or just snacks.
Overall, definitely worth the money. If you have an option to go later in the day, try that as you may get lucky with the Cove!

Our purchase of the Helicopter Tour plus Kayaking was a fantastic experience! Our day with the 5 star Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour team started with the incredible gentleman Carey, who picked us up, took us to the helicopter tour, and drove us to and back home after the kayaking tour at the Mojave Lake! Professional and friendly is the best description of him!! Thank you Carey! Our awesome Helicopter experience started with Captain Jesse!! Her introduction and safety discussions prior to flight was perfect. During her the flight, she would intermittently teach and describe what we were observing. Overall a great experience. The 5 star helicopter tour staff and the events deserves 6 stars!!

We only had a few days in Vegas so we were looking for an activity to squeeze as much out as possible. The combo helicopter plus kayak definitely fit the bill. The helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon was one of those experiences everyone should try once. Our flight was early morning so the sun was at an angle that highlighted the Grand Canyon in such a beautiful way. Our pilot Ray was great and made sure everyone had a good time. After the flight we were shuttled to the launch site for the kayaking. Our kayaking guide Seth made the trip feel like it was a couple of buddies having a relaxing trip down the Colorado river. If you are looking to get a lot done in a short amount of time, this combo activity is a great choice.

The flight over the Grand Canyon was incredible. All the sights and history along the way were just as impressive as the canyon itself. Our pilot did a fabulous job of pointing out things to see and telling us about them.
The kayaking on the Colorado River with Balzin’ Paddles was 10/10 best activity ever! Our guide Reid was phenomenal! His knowledge of the area and history were incredible. The views are amazing, and Reid made the trip even better.

An amazing full day of Fathers Day adventure! First we were picked up directly from our hotel then taken to the helicopter airport. From there we were checked in by Gloria who had us laughing and gave us all the details we needed. The flight was amazing and we captured some beautiful pictures and the pilot was a fabulous tour guide. We returned to the airport and were shuttled to the kayak launch at the river.
The kayaking was serene and again, amazing views! We made a couple stops for short hikes and great pictures.
My suggestion would be book early and definitely go! There were families with kids, couples, and singles. Everyone had a great time. The kayaking part is moderately physical. It was only my second time ever kayaking, so pretty easy for a novice.

The helicopter offered beautiful views, sadly taking photos was challenging as they squeezed 6 people in. It was a very uncomfortable flight which took away from the enjoyment of the experience. I expected this to be the highlight of the trip sadly it was not.
The kayak float turned out to be the best part of the trip.
As others have mentioned the communication could have been better, made for a hasty start to the day when you plan for one time but it’s really another.

The whole trip was wonderful. Chris was a great pilot who had many anecdotal stories of the area. Jamaica and Nicole of Blazing Paddles were outstanding river guides as well. The Emerald cave was a beautiful experience. Worth the money.

What a fantastic day from start to finish, we started early and drove to the airport to board the helicopter for the trip over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon absolutely magical. Then we took a bus the the base of the Hoover Dam for the start of the boat trip down the Colorado River. A truly amazing day one that I will never forget and well worth it but the photos don't do it justice.

Absolutely, that will be the way I will do it next time. We went with “Blazing Paddles”. There regular rate was $105 if you drive to the launch site, about $115 if they drive you from the Boulder Casino (there HQ), or about $125 and they pick you up in Las Vegas.. They have a very comfortable Sprinter ride. The helicopter was scenic and educational but costly and somewhat depressing to see we are out of water.
Blazzing Paddles brought waters and snacks as well.
