I recently booked a sunset tour through this company and our tour guide Blake was amazing! He was very professional and his expertise that he shared with us when we boarded the kyak was very comforting. I had never been in a kyak and he explained how to operate the kyak in a very clear and easy way to understand. This was very comforting to me and my wife. The trip was amazing! The views are spectacular and the photo opportunities are endless! I would definitely recommend this guided tour to anyone who wants to experience the true beauty of the Colorado River!

Gage and Mike were amazing! It was a smooth pickup form our hotel and a quick trip out to the river for a fun time on the water.
It was a gorgeous time out on the kayaks would 100% do it again.
The guides knew the history for the area and we’re knowledgeable and patient enough to answer all my random questions.
Gage was super helpful with taking care of all our guests. Mike was relaxed and gave a beautifully explained tour of the canyon; even put in the extra effort to make the twilight tour see the emerald cave as if it was daylight.
I had a peace of mind knowing that Mike was certified in case of emergencies, especially with that many beginners on the river.
Thank you for a great time Blazin’ Paddles; it was a very fun memory!

My wife and I took the twilight tour on Saturday July 24 and it was truly a highlight of our Vegas trip! When we were initially looking to kayak during our trip, we almost booked a similar one that launched at mid day. It was actually lucky that that trip sold out and we booked this one instead. It really worked out because the temperature and the scenery were so beautiful during the twilight tour in a way that a kayaking tour in the day cannot compare.
We were picked up directly from the strip and the process was smooth with plenty of communication so there was no confusion whatsoever. Having the option of both pickup and drop off made logistics much easier for us. Before getting on the water, our guides Chris and Mak were extremely helpful in getting everyone set up and giving us tips on how to paddle so we didn’t tire ourselves out. Both of us are experienced kayakers but we certainly didn’t mind the refresher!
Once we launched, we both knew how amazing this trip would be. The water is so cool that you do not feel the desert heat and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The tour gets better and better as the sun starts to set and you see the sky change colors behind 850+ foot cliffs. The whole time both tour guides were pointing out the wildlife of the river and talking about its history. They also checked in on the entire group to make sure everyone was doing OK and staying together.
There are a couple of stops along the store. One to point out a historic landmark and some of the local plant and animal life, and another to gather around the campfire and have hot dogs and s’mores. Both times the guides were really helpful in orienting us, giving plenty of snacks, and really importantly making sure that no trash was left behind on either site. The stops were really well timed so that we never felt tired during the entire kayaking trip, and plenty of snacks were given so that we had enough energy on the water.
As beautiful as the kayaking was during the sunset, it was a surreal and beautiful experience to kayak at night. Unfortunately during our tour the sky was not clear but I can only imagine how beautiful it is at night with the stars above you. This trip easily reads as one of our top experiences kayaking of all time!
While the scenery and the river make this trip amazing, it was truly the attention to detail and enthusiasm of our tour guides Chris and Mak that took our experience to the next level. Both of them made the trip and conversation very engaging, accommodated guests with any questions or assistance they needed, and work extremely hard to make sure we have the best time possible.
Book this in confidence and have a blast!

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS! It was the best thing I’ve done in the area in all of the years I’ve been visiting!
First things first. The team is great. From the first email to the Twilight Paddle. They checked in with us to confirm our plans. We met at the company store which I recommend because we arrived early and drove over to Hoover Dam (15-20 mins away).
Our guides were Mac and Chris. They were phenomenal. I was nervous because I had never kayaked before, I am 60, was afraid I wouldn’t be able to assist my husband with paddling, and it was super hot out. There was NO NEED to stress. First, they encouraged us to stay cool before we took off (standing in the cool river water). They also gave us water right away. They taught us how to get into the kayak, how to paddle, and how to steer. They were thorough but got us going quickly.
Once on the river, Mac and Chris were knowledgeable, fun, and always engaged. It was warm but we stayed cool from paddling in shade when there was some and taking breaks. There was a short hike that was easy and we ended with hot dogs (they have plant-based dogs) and s’mores. Mmm. We paddled about 5 miles round trip and I was fine the whole way.
The river and the landscape are breathtakingly beautiful. We spent a few minutes in the cave - it is just gorgeous. We saw some wildlife and genuinely enjoyed every minute. Our paddle back was in the dark with the front and back of our kayaks lit up with a a light inside the kayak (it glowed orange/red so our night vision wasn’t impacted).

We came from Sparks, Nv to do the twilight tour and i can't express enough how much fun my boyfriend and I had. Our guide, Celeste was amazing and very knowledgeable of the location and history of it. We will definitely be back for another trip with her! Thank you for a great trip!The S'mores definitely were the highlight of my trip! I would recommend taking a small lunchbox with some fruits to go along with the snacks they provide.

From the UK and this is our second time in Vegas( this time to get married) and second time with Blazin Paddles. This time we opted for the twilight tour because of the heat during the day time. It was a magical experience, so peaceful and quiet. Our tour guide Mike had excellent Knowledge of the river and surrounding area and was super chilled and was great conversation. Me and my partner said if we ever get back to Vegas for a 3rd time we 100 percent do it again. Thank-you Blazin paddles and Mike.

Had a fantastic experience with our tour guide, Seth, kayaking from Hoover Dam to Willow beach. He pointed out various birds and we even saw baby Falcon up close. We were able to see Big Horn Sheep on the rocks too.
We hiked to the hot springs for a fabulous few and feel of the water.
It was a day to remember and would recommend it to anyone who is a natural lover.

We really loved this tour! We saw wildlife and the beautiful landscape and stars. The water was beautifully cold and felt refreshing compared to the hot air. Our guides Chris and Shae were terrific, and the boats were nice touring tandems that were easy to paddle and control. We had a blast and will recommend it to our friends and family. In the future we want to use this outfitter for a longer paddle!

I highly recommend this experience. Our guides were wonderful and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The campfire was so fun, too! I would definitely do it again!!! The best service ever. From the moment I booked the tour until the very end. Norma personally called to confirm, then text me all the information I needed. Such as what to wear, pack, where to meet, like literally everything! My tour guides were Mike and Gage. They were super knowledgeable and made the experience one of a kind. I was a little scared going out at night, especially since it was my first time paddle boarding. They made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed every second of being there.
Will definitely be coming back to try the full day experience. It was worth every penny!
