Amy was a wonderful partner to work with when planning an excursion for Siena College's Family Weekend itinerary. She was communicative with families in advance, flexible with timing and locations, and eager to ensure that all participants walked away full and happy! Family members of all ages rated this small-group tour so highly because they felt they really got to know the history of Troy and dine at some of the most notable places in the city. I can't recommend Amy and Taste of Troy highly enough; for a business activity or a fun weekend with friends and family, you can't go wrong with this tour!

It was a pleasure to host this Siena College parent’s weekend group. We have always felt l that our walking food tour with a side of history, is a great way for students and their families to learn about the area they will be spending 4 years of their lives. I was invited by my girlfriend to join this tour never had Been before on food tour so I was a little skeptical. But I was really surprised at amount of preparation that the hostess put into this adventure from her personal knowledge of the food to the historic knowledge of Troy her pasión not only for Troy but for food and the genuine interest she show to us as a group. The food was really good and they gave us such big portions that by the end of the tour I was so stuff that us was hard to walk 7 different food in total. I will highly recommend because of the overall value the food the education of Troy the new friends we make the pasión and friendlyness of the Hosttes. The whole experience was worth while.

In food tourism, we like to say that if this is your first food tour it is unlikely to be your last. I love being able to introduce this way of traveling (even if it is your home turf) to my guests and offering them a buffet of tastes from a number of local restaurants and small entrepreneurs. I am happy that we were able to lure you across the Hudson to Troy and you liked what you experienced. Thanks for sharing🙏

Enjoyable food tastings complete with historic narrative of the city of Troy. Plenty to eat. While I was familiar with the majority of the restaurants it was fun to share the experience with others and to try some new dishes as well.

Had a great time on our tour of Albany. Food was good and Amy made it fun and interesting with stops along the way, as well as giving some background and history on the food spots we visited. Would love to do the Troy tour next.

Thanks for joining our Historic Downtown Albany Food Tour. There is a lot of interesting and fun facts to share from this 400+ year old city. Happy to hear you enjoyed the tastes. We love have guests return fir our other tour or to retake the one they did originally ( often there are changes to the food scene and thus our offered tastes.)

I and two friends just took the Taste of Troy food tour. All of us enjoyed it very much. Amy was very friendly, organized, and knowledgeable. The food was great and it was so interesting to learn about Troy, which is a lovely city. I highly recommend this tour, and I look forward to taking Amy's food tour of Albany.

This tour was a perfect mix of tasty food, historic information and downtown site seeing. Amy was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We made stops at De Fazio's (delicious pizza), La Capital Tacos (amazing al pastor), farmers market, and Brown's Brewing (yummy cauliflower bites, refreshing lager, and juicy IPA). We also stopped at Quang's Vietnamese Bistro where we had a pork bun dish (vermicelli noodles) that will change your life. We highly recommend this tour for its easy walking pace, interesting insight about Troy, and for the truly good food.

I grew up in Troy yet I learned so much about it on our tour! There were some places I’ve been to before but still experienced new tastes and the history behind the place and people. I ate lots of delicious foods and had a great time. I would encourage anyone to check it out.

Had an absolute blast doing this! Was really great to try out some of the restaurants nearby and discovered some new places I didn't even know were there. Learned a lot of history and had a wonderful experience! Couldn't recommend more.

History and architecture, along with trying some different tastes I hadn't had before were very enjoyable. Amy was very knowledgeable and attentive to our group's needs. It was great to explore things in our own backyard, as we live locally!
