Much fun and interesting

Had no idea tours like this even existed. It popped up on trip advisor, was priced well, and we needed to find some fun things to do as it was just a spur of the moment trip. Bought 3 tickets for myself and daughters (11 and 17), thought we would be the only ones, but surprisingly the group was about 25 total. WOW! Was it a lot of fun and informative. The tour guide, (Ernie I believe), did a great job gripping your attention and described the locations with much enthusiasm. Will now look for these tours in each new city we visit.

This tour was a lot of fun and a great way to learn about historical Charlotte in an entertaining format. Our guide, Elizabeth, was simply awesome. She's a great storyteller, and it seems obvious she enjoys it as much as her audience.

Also, booking this tour for the evening of the same day we visited The Charlotte Museum of History turned out to be a great combination. I felt there were a number of cross-reference points which made this tour even more enjoyable.

Overall, our group gave it a 5/5. Recommended.

Get to know Charlotte in a Whole New Way
Wonderful tour and tour guide. Elizabeth was phenomenal - it was like getting a tour and a play in a package deal we didn't pay extra for. We learned so much about Charlotte's history and about early America as well. We appreciated all the research and interviews done that authenticated the stories told during the tour to make it that much more fascinating (or spooky, if you believe in ghosts). To all those involved in the tour's inception and continuance we say, "We'll done."

No jump scares, just history with a side of ghosts

We had a great evening with Elizabeth as our guide! Our group was made up of people from the Charlotte area and people who have moved to Charlotte within the last few years. We all had a lot of fun! I think we all learned at least one thing we didn’t know before and will certainly look at parts of Uptown a little differently now. The history is very well researched and Elizabeth’s performance really made the night.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a slightly out of the ordinary activity and definitely for people who appreciate history!

The company was also very responsive to questions via email (no jump scares!) and I was able to easily reschedule our tour, via phone, with advanced notice due to weather.

My family and I did the Charlotte tour tonight and it was excellent. Laura was our guide and she did an amazing job and really knows her stuff. We’ve done historical ghost walks in Savannah, Charleston and Boston and this one was the best one yet. Well done Laura 👏👍
