My daughter and I went on the ghost tour as a fun and outside of the box activity while in Charlotte. Our guide only shared stories that she verified through City Hall, etc. It was a great way to learn unique things about Charlotte and to get exposure to the Uptown area. In addition to the ghost stories/stories about haunted places in Charlotte, our guide shared additional historical information that was worthy of note. We saw great and unique views of Charlotte from a variety of vantage points. It was really cold when we went, so I would recommend doing the tour on a warmer evening.

Our tour guide, John, did a wonderful job keeping all of the participants entertained, while providing just the right amount of Charlotte history to make us want to come back to each of the sites to find out more. He was an expert story teller and kept the tour moving at a good pace. The stories were told in such a way that each of the points we stopped at somehow connected and intertwined to a previous locations. Charlotte has such a rich history that we would have never known if we hadn't taken this tour. I highly recommend taking this tour and if you are lucky, John will be your guide. He engages all age groups and can answer questions about the city and it's history, including some of the tragic events he speaks about on the tour. Take this tour, you won't be disappointed. Wear comfortable walking shoes. This was a highlight of our trip. We traveled with two adults and two children ages 9 and 13, and all of us had an absolute blast!

Mary was great. Full of lots of good detailed stories about the area. She was was very energetic yet equally respectful when talking about the past incidents in Charlotte. Our only concern would be that our tour guide would have had to walk several blocks back to her car alone after the tour, Charlotte has a very high homeless population and she is wearing a shirt advertising the company which potentially means cash tips. We would recommend the company work with one of the companies to get a spot in the parking garage at the Dunhill for all the tour guides safety. We never felt unsafe because we were in a large group but there is safety in numbers. We insisted we walk Mary back to her car. Which turned out to be several blocks from our last stop. Also, ask the Dunhill if you can come into the lobby. The bar is closed at 10, they might agree to it. Who knows. Future potential guests, discounts on drinks? It's beautiful inside.

Directions were so bad we ended up being too late, tried getting a response back them through the only way at trip advisor by the time we got a phone call back from then we were so stressed out disappointed and I had planned this o er a month before and waited all day at the hotel to go we left 30 minutes prior and all it had was an address and a mention of the library fountain. We are from out of town and there was all construction around. My daughter started crying she was stressed out and really upset. When I asked for a refund they said they were a separate company and had to speak to them directly? So I’m speaking to them now. Also there was a phone call where it went straight to voicemail even though I was trying to answer with someone you could barely hear back, yet when I called right back no one answered…1-800-sketchy for sure

Great walking tour. Definitely some spooky stuff. Guide was very informative. She handled some difficult young adults misbehaving on the tour with grace. Definitely a great way to see the city.

My wife and I waited at the meeting point and the guide never showed up. I called the customer service line and was told I would be contacted. I never was… I would not recommend Queen City ghost tours to anyone. They are unreliable and have poor customer service. Very disappointing on our special day.

Was in town for wedding during Halloween weekend. Sumi (not sure if that's how you spell it) was our tour guide and she was great! Hilarious and engaging. Awesome way to learn about the spooky history of Charlotte and to get a tour of the town

This is a great way to familiarize yourself with the downtown area and get exposure to both the modern area and the beautiful old homes and history. Many great stories and some of them actually gave me chills! Tiffany was engaging and loves what she does.

We had a great time on our ghost tour. Our guide was a good storyteller. I captured some spooky photos of the Fire house. Pictures came out with lights and blurry vs my friends photos that were perfectly clear. Could it have been the ghost of the dead fire captain? You be the judge.
