Lines for everything. Waste of time.
If you just want a Dole T shirt, go ahead and stop. There are LINES for everything!! Waited 2.5 hours for a 20 minute train ride. They hide the true line so you don’t know what you are in for. Wasted half a day at this place! Don’t go.

    Great overview of the island
This is an excellent tour if time in Maui limited as it gives a great overview of the geography of the far side of the island. The sights - waterfalls, mountains, flora - were amazing and the tour was well run and full.

Worst tour ever - Buyer Beware
This is the worst tour I have ever done (and I have traveled extensively around the world). Buyer beware. Firstly, it was advertised as a 9am to 4pm full-day tour, but we were picked up at 10am and dropped off just after 2pm. The highlight was supposed to be the Volcano National Park, but we spent only 30mins at the Volcano house lookout and then we left. Our driver was not a guide, so we had no commentary (no advice on how best to see the volcano etc) and we spent a lot of time driving aimlessly back and forth - to accommodate the other couple's helicopter inclusion. We didn't follow the itinerary at all, we didn't visit or see: Sulfur banks, chain of crater road, visitor centre, volcano steam vents, Macadamia nut factory, Richardson Black sand beach, Wailuku river state park, or get a commentary of historic Hilo. It was a total waste of our money. We later booked a tour with a different company and they did a great job (Kapohokine Tours). I have contacted Dynamic Tours several times, but they don't respond. I'm angry that we paid a lot for this tour and I feel totally ripped off.

    Road to Hana
A most see and do if you visit Maui. We took a small group tour provided by Dynamic Hawaiian Tours. Sheldon was a wonderful driver. He pointed out waterfalls, wildlife, scenic views, roadside stands, best places to visit and eat. Sheldon was from Maui and had so much compassion for his island and its history. We were grateful to have a driver on this adventure because the road is full of curves, one lane bridges, blind spots, tight roadways, but so worth it! It was beau!

Amazing once in a lifetime experience!
A must see experience with RAY of Temptation tours!!! We booked a small van for 8. It was the perfect family day!!! I wasn’t sure what to expect and was so surprised on what I learned about Maui, Hana, the Hawaiian history & culture and the amazing nature including Rainbow Eucalyptus trees, the Bamboo Forest, waterfalls, Black sand beaches, micro climates and a crazy winding road you should not drive on your own!!! I can’t forget the pineapple slushies, coconut Icecream & shaved ice!! Ray was nice enough to stop on our way back at Half Way to Hana cafe stand!!!

    Road to Hana- Great experienc
We had a great time. By having someone else drive, you can take in the sights. The road as well is very narrow in many areas. We enjoyed the company with a great group to travel with. Marty was our driver, and he did a great job of giving us backgrounds to the area's, historical facts and tips on things like where to eat. We enjoyed the beauty of the black and beach, the black bamboo trees and the rainbow bamboo. Sooo many waterfalls. We loved it.

    Best Part of Our Trip!
I was very anxious about the Road to Hana as someone who suffers from motion sickness and with the many scary stories and “I Survived the Road to Hana” shirts around Maui. But I can now say this tour was the absolute best experience of our entire vacation. Our guide, Lei, was incredible. She is from a long line of family living on Maui for generations, and her experience, wealth of information, sense of humor, and wisdom made the tour far more rich and memorable than it might have been otherwise. From the black sand beach to the Hana Farm market to the hands-on experience Lei provided for us with flowers and plants along the way, I enjoyed every moment so much that I completely forgot about motion sickness. I plan to do this tour again when and if I am lucky enough to return to Maui someday! MAHALO, LEI!!

Great safe and fun trip with Lepa!
We had a great time on our tour with Lepa. Request her as a guide if you can. She is as authentic Hawaiian as you will ever find. She had so many great stories of her family and famous people she has met and served on the island in some of her other roles. She will tell you all sorts of secrets and has connections everywhere. It was very fun and interesting. Highlight of the day was the time at the Black sand beach! I won’t say it was the most exciting thing of our time on Maui, but if you are only going to get to Maui once, it’s a must do, and it’s a way for the entire family to enjoy it without being stressed and having to drive yourself. So worth it. Great breakfast and lunch included. Book it!!

Road to Hana , Maui Hawaii
The Road to Hāna by blue Hawaiian tours was a disappointment. We left the hotel at 630 am. It was a small group which was great in what we wanted. We were informed to bring swim suits, towels , reef safe lotion and money for souvenirs. We stopped for breakfast at a Starbucks which we were given 15min to grab breakfast and rest room at 830. The place was crowded and the line to restroom was impossible. We drove and hopped off on on bus for beautiful pictures. We stopped at a location for swimming and lunch at 1030 AM and was given only one hour. First of all we just had breakfast at 830 Am, and was never given a time for lunch. Secondly, the most time to get in the beach was about 15 minutes before you had to change and be back on the bus. The rest of the time was spent on the bus. We never stopped at Hāna itself or stopped at any places to pick up souvenirs or shop. Majority of the time was spent sitting on the bus.Took this tour with my husband and another couple and we felt this was a waste of a day and money. It would have been better off to rent a car and drive ourselves to enjoy the stops , swim and shop. I wrote a letter to the company relaying our disappointment, I was informed t but was informed that they would check with others passengers and check the gps stop. Needless to say that was the last I heard from them. If you like just sitting and doing nothing then the tour would be ok for you, but I felt it was falsely advertised of what we would be doing.Wasted a day in Maui.

    Unfortunately to much traffic
Headed off on the road to Hana and only got half way as the road to busy so we turned around and headed back. A real shame as we were looking forward to it. Im not sure why it was so busy it had been wet and maybe there was an issue with the road. What we did see was beautiful. But it seemed like a lot of people wr=ere doing the same as us. Maybe next time. Check the road situation before attempting the trip.

    Amazing!
Loved to trip to Hana. We survived all the curves. Lol. Saw several amazing sites. Definitely worth the trip. The only thing that was a problem was one couple who monopolized the conversation with our tour guide. She probably would have pointed more things out if not for that.

    Never again
We have been down the road to Hana on a previous trip so we thought we were ready for the trip. The ride down was ok hardly no traffic. The return trip was a different story we were in a group of maybe 6-8 vehicles the front vehicle stopped looked at the one lane bridges and proceeded. On one bridge we were halfway through it and a tour bus entered from the other direction. Well hand waving escalates into a yelling match now we have 10-15 vehicles in each direction backed up. We had to back out of the bridge and let them bye as the van passed they were flipping people off and yelling obscenities. The locals make it clear they don’t want you there. They have some nice attractions but it’s not worth getting run off the road or have your car broken into while you are looking at something.
