Experience San Francisco on a half-day tour by Volkswagen bus, a classic California counterculture vehicle. Travel through 14 neighborhoods and see landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Coit Tower. Your guide will tell you about the city’s history, including the Gold Rush, the 1906 earthquake, the hippies of the 1960s, and the rise of Silicon Valley. Pick a morning or afternoon tour to suit your schedule.
What to Expect
Head to a pickup point in Fisherman’s Wharf or Union Square to step into the restored Volkswagen van.

Cruise through distinctive neighborhoods including Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, the Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf, the Presidio, Haight Ashbury, the Castro, and upscale Seacliff. Stop for photo ops at landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Legion of Honor, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park, Coit Tower, Palace of Fine Arts, Twin Peaks, and the Painted Ladies.

Your guide shares commentary about the culture and sights of the city throughout the tour, and offers tips about places to visit on your own. You'll get a comprehensive overview and a fun ride all in one.

The departure locations are at hotels so I imagine parking would be limited. I took a Lyft from my hotel to departure location.

I am sure the tour group had a response for this. There was no booster seat from what I could see. My reaction is that a 3 year old would have trouble tolerating the tour, but of course, there could be exceptions. There... More
