- cobew202300Amazing experience! We did the e-bike brewery crawl and had a blast! Our tour guide Eric was awesome, he catered to us and had wonderful recommendations! Every be we had was amazing and once we left we couldn’t stop talking about! 10/10 experience absolutely worth it!
- Peacekat00Leisurely paddle in a sit on top kayakThis was a leisurely kayak paddle that was all down river. We paddled basically just to steer, but there some large rocks to avoid and few little rapids. You don’t see much of the Biltmore, so don’t sign up if that is all you are interested in. The kayaks are all single, sit on tops. Unless you have a child that can’t paddle by themselves, then you can ask for a tandem upon arrival. No cushion or seat to sit on, but there is a backrest. The weather was predicted to be cloudy & in the 60’s, but it turned out to be sunny & 70’s and I was sorry I didn’t wear a hat or sunscreen. We saw otters swimming in front of us, lots of geese, a couple herons, a couple cormorants, several turtles. The staff was nice, friendly, they gave us a thorough safety talk before driving us up to the drop off. Our party of 3 was alone on the river until we got to the Biltmore’s property, then we saw a few other kayakers and a couple tubers. I would recommend you BYO water, I did not see any for sale and you can refill from a faucet at the outpost. They did have a selection of adult beverages for sale, tho😎. This outfitter has several different activity choices, so pick one & get out there!
- fifth_rendition00Great trip!Good crew, everything was well executed and I really enjoyed the experience. Advice tips: bring a towel to dry off after. Bring a towel on the trip to protect your knees and legs if you burn easy. Bring a change of clothes to change into after. Don't expect to see much if anything at all of the Biltmore, the trees and bushes cover everything up. We enjoyed this much better than going to the Biltmore itself, although the gardens would have been nice to visit.
- jbf092500Beautiful day! What a fun and relaxing paddle down the French Broad River! We were moving along with the current, which helped! The water level was a bit low, so we got caught a time or two on logs or rocks, but were able to shimmy out easily! It is a 3 - 4 hour trip, take sunscreen, and plan to have a great time. Eli and Bailey were great!
- Quest64518200A lot of fun!Loved the bike ride! Eric the tour guide was great! Very well informed and encouraging! Would highly recommend!
- 455brandeea0099 Riverside Drive - check the addressThe only reason for the 4 star instead of a 5 is due to the miscommunication of the start location. The original message from the booking listed, 521 Amboy Rd, an address by the river where you go to participate in the water activities. After having to wait for another Uber driver to come and take us to the correct address, 99 Riverside Drive, we were 30 minutes late. They were great about adjusting the time and giving lots of great info about Asheville. Overall, a beautiful day and fun adventure. Highly recommend it!
- Inspire6238519759800Good lively paced tour. The guide was very helpful setting up our bikes so that they would fit the different body shapes. She kept up a lively pace so nobody would be bored. All in all, a very good time had by all.
- MozartWillVanish00Amazing bike tour!My fiancée and I had a great time on the bike tour! Our guide, Eric, was awesome and was able to share a lot of knowledge about the area. It was a good workout and the views were amazing!
- 702candacea00Wonderful evening!Wes did a great job and showed us some beautiful areas of Ashville. Highly recommend this tour!! The e-bike was easy to operate and we had beautiful views at every stop and along the way.
- larrykA6191UG00E-bike brewery tourThis tour was a hoot. We had a wonderful time and our guide Leslie was the best. Highly recommend this tour to any one, especially those that like to visit breweries.
- wayfarerwendy00Town tourDave was fantastic. We had a beautiful tour. Loved seeing all the different neighborhoods and hearing about the architecture and history of the city.
- Getaway2801756312200Perfect day on the riverSerene, quiet stretch of river thru Biltmore property. Easy paddling with lots of wildlife (otters, cormorants, herons, turtles, geese and ducks). Went on a Thursday morning. No one else on river besides us. Guide, Eli, drove us out, gave some kayaking tips and helped us out at end. Personable guy. Also gave solid food recommendations that locals go to.
- T5798JKangelam00Family, Fun and NatureFantastic time! Wes our tour guide is so personable and knowledgeable. We all had fun. This was our favorite tour . Thanks Wes
- nathaniels38500Laid back cruising, and beer, what more could you ask for?!Leslie really took the time to help us pick a good beer at each brewery, each brewery made us feel welcome, felt like we were visiting friends at each brewery. I like to nurse my beers, and even I had enough time at each brewery to enjoy it. Didn't feel rushed, and Leslie was very talkative which made for a relaxing atmosphere. She wasn't nervous about navigating through downtown which made us feel at ease. It was definitely worth the money. I thought we were supposed to go too 5 breweries and we only went to three, but it's no reason for me to give a negative review, because the quality of each stop far surpassed the quantity factor. I did this as a surprise for my wife and I's 5th anniversary, and she loved it. Overall I am absolutely pleased and recommend this tour to anybody.
- 279elissah00Wonderful ExperienceMy family and I booked two outings with Asheville Adventure Company - kayaking and whitewater rafting. They were excellent to work with, including helping me make a reservation over the phone when I had specific requests. Their employees and guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a great time!

This was a great first time rafting experience for a couple members of our group. Our guide Cage was fantastic-an expert at guiding us down the river but also shared a lot of fun information about the river and general Asheville area. The trip included stops to jump from cliff and swim. Everyone had a great time.

Amazing trip down the French broad! Our guide Cage was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Loved the pit stops to jump in, float a bit and take in the peaceful scenery.

We didn’t expect cool weather in Memorial Day weekend after booking the trip. We contacted AAC to ask if the trip was going to be cancelled and we were told it’s a go rain or shine. So we showed up and it was cool so I didn’t really want to go out. The team brought our splash gear which made all the difference with bottoms and long sleeve coverage so we wouldn’t be exposed to the cold air while wet. There had been a day of rain so the river was higher than normal. Aiden was our guide and he made the trip for us. He was fabulous with info about the area and he obviously loves his job. We are so glad we decided to go. The fog/mist through the trees was beautiful. Connor was great on the 45 minute ride to the start site. There was a family with a little girl and they took great care of her too. Definitely a great company with high safety standards.

A fun experience, great for a newbie to rafting as the drops were not too dramatic! The river scenery is incredible, guides were great, friendly and informative. Overall a top way to spend a few hours in Asheville.

Hi Everyone,
We had a great whitewater trip last week (April 20th). Grant our guide down the river was super enthusiastic and made our journey so much fun. we had fun listening to him discuss the various aspects of the river and the wildlife. We enjoyed the jump rock though lost a gopro (no fault of them, it was all us). No worries though we still had a blast. I would recommend this trip for those looking to experience a rafting trip that will generate some thrills but not be too..too intense. We always felt in control and safe though excited. The entire crew was very nice and engaging. We almost signed up for a bike tour but ran out of time. Oh well. Next time. Thanks to Grant for giving us a great time on the river.

What are the recommended ages for children to participate in the rafting trip? We will have a 10 and 11 year old with us.

I think they would be fine. They give life jackets and helmets to everyone but that is really a question for the company itself to see if they have restrictions.
Should people with mobility issues (not wheelchair bound) take the rafting trip.
