Highlights
  • Gourmet walking tour of NYC food destinations in Little Italy and Chinatown
  • Discover hidden gems in two NYC neighborhoods thanks to your guide
  • Skip the line at popular restaurants
  • Guide leads the tour and provides handouts, maps, and coupons
What to Expect
Start the day on a high note by meeting your guide in Little Italy for an introduction and a delicious cannoli. As you walk through Little Italy, the guide provides little-known facts and stories about the neighborhood’s rich history and culture. Along the way, sample a variety of Italian specialties from mom-and-pop shops and beloved hole-in-the-wall establishments. A sample tasting menu includes prosciutto, olives, cheeses, fresh pasta, and homemade mozzarella. Chinatown is a short stroll away. Breeze past the often long lines at one of the neighborhood’s oldest restaurants and sit down for a tasting menu of steaming hot dim sum. After the meal, follow your guide to historic Chinatown landmarks you may not have noticed otherwise. Finally, enjoy fresh dumplings and traditional Chinese pastries. The guide distributes handouts that include a list of restaurants visited, helpful maps, coupons, and recommendations for when you return. The tour ends in Chinatown.

Fun, informative and great food for our 3 generations, including 2 young children. Our guide, Zoe, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Walking distance was short and variety of foods and restaurants were remarkable. Ahoy even accommodated an individual with a restricted diet.
