- gary s00Friendly bike rentals! What a friendly group of people! Quality bikes to rent. Good instructions for keeping safe on the roads. This is 4th or 5th time renting. Will be back next time in town!
- joleec00Best historical bike tour of SavannahThis was a fabulous 2 hour historical tour of Savannah. We highly recommend it. Austin was in incredible well informed historian. He did an incredible job delivering an interesting & informative history of the city.
- ashleysX3299WR00Book with Savannah on wheels today👌Just wanted to let everyone know that the bike tour was fantastic! If you’re contemplating it just book it you won’t regret it. Our guide Melissa was amazing, she was personable and very knowledgeable of all the historic sites. 5 miles sounds like a lot but you stop at multiple time, and the views are amazing you could go on for hours. I would absolutely do it again if I return to Savannah❤️
- Road6325736119100The way to rollGreat bike, awesome staff. Rode to Tybee Island and back, and can actually still sit down today! Highly recommended.
- 886lindseyt00Great way to see the city!We rented bikes for the day to see Savannah and loved our time. It was a fun and easy way to see so much. The bikes were in great condition and cane with helmets and bike lock making it convenient to stop along our way. They also provided a map of the city with suggested routes which was a nice touch. Very friendly service!
- 855kathieg00Bike RentalsWe rented bikes for three days. We were very happy with the bikes and the company! We were staying on Skidaway Island in The Lanidngs community. They dropped the bikes off and picked them up.
- hannahdD2855BO00So many historical stories and you see so much of Savannah!!!We did this as an activity for a bachelorette party!! 10/10 recommend! They had a personalized bike for our bride and a cute sign with our party’s name and theme!! Our tour guide was EJ and he was AMAZING!! He took so many photos and was so funny and informative!!! If you are on the verge of booking this tour DO IT!!!
- Lnr12600Best part of our trip!First of all EJ was amazing - as our tour guide he really was so knowledgeable and fun and we just loved him! What a perfect experience for a fun girls trip / bachelorette weekend, and we had 5 people which was the perfect amount. All of us keep saying it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment j started planning this tour before arrival, Mike and the entire team were very responsive and accommodating. The bride got a really cute bike with a basket and flowers that said “bride to be”. They even made a sign with all of our names on it. Since we did the bachelorette version, we had a lot of photo moments which was perfect. Loved every part of this!!!
- phippswedding00Fantastic experience of SavannahThe bikes were well-maintained and first rate. Austin was a superb tour guide. He was a wealth of historical information, and very personable. The sites, squares, houses, etc. were, of course, gorgeous. After the tour, I went on a 14-mile ride through lovely parts of the city, mostly on marked bike lanes and non-busy streets, to a biking trail, around a pond, and back. The staff at Savannah on Wheels was very helpful in marking the best route on a map and explaining in detail how to get there. It was a wonderful way to get to know the city a little.
- AlexFunTrip00Great Bike RentalGreat service, helpful suggestions for self-guided tour. Good quality bikes, they made sure they were fitted correctly. Helmets and locks included. Will rent from here again.
- 277miken00Great Bike Rentals in SavannahSavanah on Wheels is fantastic. We rented bikes for a day. The staff was super friendly and helpful, not just about where to ride (with a highlighted map for us to take) but also with restaurant recommendations. The bikes are well maintained. Highly recommend!
- 553cariet00Great way to spend our anniversary!!We took a private tour which I would highly recommend! Shout out to EJ, our guide, who was awesome. He is super knowledgeable about the area, it's history and the architecture. It was such an enjoyable way to spend the morning. I would definitely recommend this tour!
- calliem32600Amazing tourAwesome way to experience the history of Savannah. Guides are top notch. Would totally do again!!!!!
- 87mariant00Great tour for visitors and locals!Excellent tour with Austin. As locals, you never know how the storytelling will go (fact or fiction) but Austin gave great history with a fun delivery and appropriate respect. My husband gives history tours at Bonaventure Cemetery and he thought the tour was outstanding as well. I’d recommend this tour to anyone. Also, the team at the ship were great! Friendly, excellent service. We will be back for our bike needs as well!
- Savanah1997---00Highly recommend this tour!Loved the history given and the stops made on this bike tour. Our guide, Austin, was excellent. Bikes were very comfortable and staff made sure you had a bike that fit you as well as helmets.

We had a great time on our tour with Austin, despite to crazy heat wave! Austin was a major history buff and was very informative about the city. We were able to keep the e-bikes for the remainder of the day and enjoyed wandering the city. This is a great way to see the city in a short period of time.

We LOVE to take a bike tour on Day 1 when we travel to a new city! We went with our adult children. This one did not disappoint! The husband and wife team lead us safely through the city and the beautiful squares and shared interesting historical and fun information about Savannah! The bikes were awesome and had comfy seats. There was also a cute younger child who rode in our group on a tag-a-long bike. Thank you for a fun intro to Savannah!

We had two amazing days in Savannah with our Savannah on Wheels bikes. Matt was a fantastic tour guide, providing very helpful historical context, orienting us to the city, noticing all the small details that make this such a magical city. And then helping us get our bearings so we could do day two by ourselves, exploring the lovely streets, buildings, museums and cafes of Savannah. A wonderful experience all around. This is the way to go if you want to explore and understand Savannah!

In a marvelous week in Savannah where everything was wonderful, this was my favorite activity! The 2 hour tour was great - Melissa was our tour guide and she was very informative. The pace is slow with many stops for information. The group was small. After the tour, which was well worth the price alone, I kept the bike for hours going to lunch and shopping, and some more gliding joyfully around the squares breathing in the jasmine scent, listening to the birdsong, and marveling at the gorgeous mansions! I hated to turn my bike back in to meet my sister for dinner. I absolutely recommend this tour!

It was such a pleasure hosting you! You got to experience one of our favorite times of the year in Savannah; when the Jasmine and Magnolias are fragrant and bloom! So glad this was your favorite activity. We hope you'll come and see us again on your next trip to Savannah! Thank you!

The bike tour was amazing. The tour guide knew what she was talking about and was not corny as a lot of tour guides tend to be. Biking was wonderful because we got to actually take in the city as opposed to riding on a smog ridden bus. The bikes themselves were very nice. I am totally out of shape but found the peddling easy. We will do the tour again. It was wonderful to keep the bikes to go back and spend more time at our favorite stops along the tour.

This was a great way to get the highlights of the history and sights of Savannah. Our guide had lots of great stories and information for us. It was fun for the teens as well. He did a great job and I think touring by bike was much better than if we'd gone on a walking tour. Thanks so much! Id highly recommend this tour!

Historical Bike Tour of Savannah. This was our favorite of the three tours we took. Linda was knowledgeable, very personable and the history was more detailed and funnier than others. We were supposed to be in a group tour but the other people couldn’t make it, so it ended up as a private tour and we were not charged anything extra. We were able to cover a lot of the city by bike and felt safe as Linda skillfully guided us around. A perfect day and lots of fun.

My friends and I enjoyed the tour so much.
The bikes were excellent and comfortable. And we get to keep them for the rest of the day and go back to see sites like museums and other historical places.
I don't think we would cover so much of Savannah if we decided only to walk around. Especially on the 102 degrees day. Biking was the way to go.
Our guide was very nice, knowledgeable, and friendly.
We recommend if you want to cover a lot of spots in Savannah in a short period of time.

We went on the Historical Tour of Savannah with e-bikes. We had a great experience. Our guide Linda was phenomenal! She was so knowledgeable about the area and history. We were able to see so much of the historical side of the city. We didn’t want the tour to end.
We went with the e-bike option because we were a group of out of shape 50 something’s. Savannah is very flat. Probably didn’t need the e-bikes, but it was a fun experience trying them out. There is an option to keep the bikes for longer after the tour (extra fee). Probably would do that next time.
Highly recommend!

We are average cyclists who didn’t bring our bikes so we rented. EJ was a knowledgeable guide who pointed out all the sites, great restaurants and things to do and kept us safe on quiet streets. Savannah is a mostly flat city and bike friendly. The tour does not go down to the river area but there are other ways to get there. The shop staff were friendly and accommodating and worked with us to rent the bikes for a few days. Highly recommend.
