Great activity and awesome organization. Most of the group attended an English tour at 10.40am but we were authorized to attend a tour of Laura plantation at 11am in French without paying extra fee.
Thank you for the flexibility !
Our driver, John, also talked a lot about plantations and New Orleans during the drive sharing a lot of experiences and stories. That was really nice!
This is a must do if you go to Louisiana!

This was one of the best tour experiences I have done (and I have done a lot). Isabelle is hands on, and makes sure that she is creating an experience that will be memorable and enjoyable. We booked last minute, but she was able to work it out to where we could still go see the Laura plantation on a different timeline. Our guide was Rene and I cannot say enough amazing things about him. He knows his stuff (from New Orleans/Louisiana history to the best restaurants/bars/night life in town). He was very warm and welcoming and it was enjoyable to hear him talk about the love for his city. The plantation itself was also a great experience. Our host, Kyle, is Creole and did a great job telling the history of the house and of the Creole heritage in general. Overall this was a 5-star experience and Isabelle will always be our "go to" when coming to New Orleans.

We were so impressed with the personalized service received from Isabelle and her staff. We completely enjoyed the plantation tour that we took as well as the airboat adventure we booked through her. It was such a major convenience to be picked up at our hotel and taken to the tour locations. We did the plantations tours of Laura Plantation and Destrehan Plantation. The docents were so knowledgeable and knew the history of each property. Rene our tour guide for the plantation tour was exceptional and is a New Orleans native with quite the family history in this part of the country. Hearing his stories was amazing and we really appreciated his advice on local cuisine and jazz venues. We highly recommend any tour from Isabelle as you will feel like you are part of the family and welcomed as such. Thank you Isabelle!

We enjoyed our tour guide/driver. She shared stories and engaged all in the van.

The Laura Plantation was awesome. Kyle was a fantastick tour guide.  He was a wealth of information and told stories that informed and entertained. The grounds and home felt alive. Being able to go into every room with furnishings gave the house the feeling of being real and alive.

As for Oak Ally, other than having big oak trees, we didn't get much from the house guide, building or grounds.

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour of the Laura and St. Joseph Plantations. Our tour guide, Gisele, was amazing. On the ride to and from New Orleans to the plantations, she told us many stories about the history of New Orleans that shed a historical light on everything we saw and did while we were in NOLA. Her passion for the history and the place is impressive! And she took every opportunity to make our time together special, including stopping to alligator-spot in a bayou right off the road.

The tours at both plantations were very good, and I'm happy to say that both the tours were explicit about the history of the enslaved people at the plantations.

Isabelle Tours made everything easy, from booking to being picked up at our hotel. I found trying to decide which tour company to go with a little challenging, and I'm so glad I ended up going with Isabelle Tours!

Tours by Isabel provided a great plantation tour experience. Gene Reyes was our tour guide and he was EXCELLENT! He was very informative and provided lots of interesting information about New Orleans. We enjoyed his easy going manner and his ability to answer any questions we had. He was very punctual and kept the tour on track throughout the day. Laura plantation was our favorite plantation. The tour guide at Laura was extremely informative as well. Laura plantation has extensive information about the family that owned the plantation and it added additional interest to the tour. Thank you to Tours by Isabel and Gene for providing a very fun tour experience for my daughter and I who were traveling for a fun girl's trip. When booking a Tour by Isabel be sure to ask for Gene!

Our tour guide Gisele was fantastic and very knowledgeable on the history of New Orleans. We enjoyed both plantation tours and it was interesting to compare the 2 plantations’ history and family stories. The small group format of the tour was just what we were looking for, and Gisele took time to make a few extra stops which might not be possible with a larger tour. I would definitely recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed our visit to Laura Plantation, but Oak Alley was a waste of time and money. We would have much preferred a visit to Whitney Plantation! It sounded more in line with what we were expecting. Our driver/guide was great. He kept us informed and entertained the entire day.

We chose the afternoon Oak Alley and Laura Plantations tour. We were picked up at our hotel at the exact time given. The bus is comfortable and clean. Our tour was led by Rene. Talked to us using a headset microphone which my husband greatly appreciated. He is a wealth of information, very friendly, and an awesome tour guide. Especially enjoyed Laura Plantation. The tour was well worth the cost and would definitely take another with Rene and Tours By Isabelle.
