French Quarter History and Ghost Buster Tour
From US$14.00
Overview
Delve deep into New Orleans’ haunted history on an evening French Quarter walking tour that doesn’t just walk by the mysterious Soulé Mansion, it takes you inside to experience its well-documented paranormal activity for yourself. Hear tales of murder, mayhem, voodoo, and vampires from your guide as you look for evidence of ghosts and stroll the lamplit streets and squares of America’s most haunted city.
What to Expect

When the sun goes down, connect with your guide next to the St. Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter, and set off by foot to explore the historic heart of New Orleans. Stroll down dimly lit streets lined by iron-lace balconies and curious storefronts while a guide shares the true tales of scandals, crimes, and mysterious events that shocked the city.

While most tours just take you in front of stately Creole mansions, this one shows you inside one of the most notorious—the circa-1830 Soulé Mansion. Learn about its bawdy and tragic past, including stints as both a nightclub and Civil War orphanage, and step onto the balcony to share the view of unlucky former residents. After visiting this and other supposedly haunted sites, be sure to check your photos for orbs and other evidence of paranormal activity.

The tour ends at the departure location.

Living Social - A bargain!

We went on this tour our first night in New Orleans. We had been on many ghost tours in other cities, and we knew this was a history tour basically, but we were wanting a little more scare! We did learn a lot that we...More

French Quater Tour

Our tour guide Adele was awesome. You can tell she really enjoys her job. She knows more about New Orleans than anybody else we spoke with. It was 100% worth it.

History and ghost stories and lots more.

The tour was so much more fun than I expected. Skeptical, I went with my family. We were able to tour the French Quarter with a wonderful guide (Mimi) and go inside the mansion, upstairs to the ultra fancy ballroom and into a hidden courtyard...More

Educational mostly

It was an awesome education for sure and the tour guide, Adele, was well versed and relaxed. Her style was like telling stories to a group of friends. Super creepy at times, but that's what you'd want on this type of tour. The only thing...More

How nice of you to share such a sweet story. Adele is lovely and she is always delightful and entirely. Your curious nature can rest easy. Her 'drink here' 'buy stuff here' stories are her own. So if she makes a recommendation it is as...More

The mansion is closed on Tuesday night so it is extra spooky coming inside with lights off at first. Company has access to the mansion any night there is not a private event, and even then the company goes inside, just not... More
