Awesome tour! Yvonne was great, very knowledgeable, funny and full of energy. I like that they keep their tour groups small. It’s more intimate that way. We saw several tours with over 20 people per one tour guide. That didn’t interest us at all.

Josh's Lucky Bean Tour
Jul 2021
As a tour guide myself for years in Natchez I was impressed with Josh's knowledge, deliver and humor. He was responsive to all of us as far as our interests and wanting knowledge on particular aspects of New Orleans history, music, architecture, landscaping and courtyards. Josh is a pro. Take his tour. You will be happy you did. Thanks Josh and Lucky Bean tours for a wonderful, fact filled, fun filled couple of hours.

A Must Do with the family
Jul 2021
Peak (I love her name) gave us an awesome tour. We loved not only that she discussed the history of the French Quarter but my family ( 14 and 9 year old) and I had a chance to sample the snacks from different cultures including alligator jerky!

Thanks for reviewing your tour with Peak! We love her name and her too! I’m so glad that there are families who make it a point to really learn about the culture of the place they are visiting when they travel. And how better to immerse oneself in the culture of Louisiana than by eating alligator in Jackson Square (or by the Mississippi River)!? I hope you made lots of family memories on your trip, and we are all looking forward to seeing you next time! Libby

Great tour led by a local artist!
Jul 2021
I enjoyed the tour led by Peak, she is a great story teller, also friendly and super funny! A musician herself, Peak is able to tell the music and art stories of New Orleans in a more personal way.

Thanks for this beautiful review! I am so happy that you chose us to show you around, and I think it’s wonderful that you took the extra step to pinpoint exactly what you loved about your French Quarter tour with Peak. We agree that Peak’s artistic nature provides her with an interesting and unique perspective of New Orleans, and her kindness and storytelling ability provide her with a wonderful way of sharing that perspective with her guests. Please come explore with us next time you are in town. Libby

A wonderful tour of the French Quarter
Jul 2021
Josh was a very good and knowledgeable guide. I really enjoyed the historical insights he offered about the French Quarter. It was nice to be in a small group of only four people, which really allowed him to personalize the tour.

Thanks for touring with us and for reviewing! Josh is a wonderful guide and we are so happy to have him showing around our excellent guests. The small group model is great in so many ways- we can be flexible about our route in case of unexpected weather or spontaneous parades, everyone can ask questions and hear the answers, and we don’t get dirty looks for blocking the sidewalk! Please come back and tour the Garden District or one of our beautiful cemeteries next time. Libby

Amazing Tour, awesome guide!
Jul 2021 • Friends
I do a lot of yours when I vacation and this was among the most amazing! Josh knew the French Quarter more than even natives who were on the tour with us.

With Masters in history, he has such command of the historical background of the area! He was also fun and knew all of the spots of have us gather information but not die from the new Orleans heat!

His pictures enhanced the tour that much more. New Orleans is a great city with such a rich history, you'd be a fool not to experience it the right way.

Recommend this tour 1000%

A thousand thank-yous for your 1000 percent recommendation! We agree that Josh is at the top of the heap when it comes to tour guides. His knowledge and education are certainly vast, but it’s his personality and delivery that make his tours extra-special (plus those well-chosen pictures pulled out of that magic messenger bag). Thanks for hustling from shady spot to shady spot with us, and please come back for more stories about this endlessly fascinating city. Libby

Josh is awesome!
Jul 2021 • Family
Josh was a super good guide. Very knowledgeable and full of stories. He covered the history and architecture of the FQ. He was careful to find places in the shade and pointed out a lot of restaurants and their featured foods. We’d ask for him again for our next tour.
