Travelling with work colleagues for a business conference, we arrived a few days early and booked the tour of Atlanta for six of us so we could see the city. On our arrival at the office we were greeted by Tim and his son Coltraine, they already had our bikes set up with our names on them, so we were soon off and cycling. The tour was excellent giving us insight to the city and our guides moved at a pace allowing everyone to be safe and stay together. Tim shared insight to the history of various neighbourhoods and buildings and we all really enjoyed our tour. We also enjoyed a cheeky Revolution doughnut that tasted fantastic!! Completely recommend this tour, it was great, Thank you very much....

You are so welcome, Mark! It was our pleasure! So happy you and your crew came out for a spin with us. I've always been a little heartbroken for all the folks who travel to Atlanta for business and never experience what you guys were able to on the tour. So, thank you, for getting your team out for a fun adventure! BIKE ON! Robyn Chief Happiness Officer

I took my sister on the Historic Bike tour of Atlanta.

What a fun and absolutely amazing day !! Our tour guides were Judy and James. They were both knowledgeable and fun !

My sister Beatriz loved the experience and we felt safe at all times. It was educational and inspiring. We met other visitors some from France and others from Denmark and Nee England during our tour. The entire experience felt laid back and truly authentic. I would recommend this tour as well as the sustainability tour to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day in the city. After the tour we had lunch in the Beltway.

I will bring more friends in the future and have already purchased 4 gift certificates since this visit for friends.

What a great way to lear more about the amazing city of Atlanta from an local’s perspective !

We learned about the history for the neighborhoods, the historic cemetery, Martin Luther King’s history in Atlanta and the evolution of the city and its residents since Atlanta was first founded.

My family and I did the ATL Bike Tour today and awesome would be an understatement! Tim, our tour guide was patient and knowledgeable about so many enlightening historical facts about the city and they even take the time to get your measurements so that the bikes are pre-adjusted for you for comfort. They gave us cold water and snacks and it was just a really nice experience overall. I am a novice bike rider at best and was able to finish the tour all because of Tim’s great leadership and consideration all throughout the tour definitely worth every penny! THANKS AGAIN TIM!!!!

What a great outing!  My family (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 11 y/o, and 7 y/o) booked a private tour with Robyn and Judy.  Robyn was very accommodating with an early start time (0830) to beat the heat of the day and BTA provided high quality, well maintained bicycles; my 7 y/o was riding a brand new 24" specialized with grip shift.  We rode past the childhood home of MLK, through Piedmont Park, and onto the beltline path.  Robyn and Judy were very attuned to traffic safety and I felt completely comfortable with their chosen route and the way that they held intersections so my boys could ride through safely.  Both guides were a wealth of information on the history and neighborhoods of Atlanta.  Thanks to this tour we returned to some areas of the city that we never would have found otherwise.  If you are at all undecided about booking a tour with BTA let me say this:  I have done tours in multiple cities and BTA is the best operation I have ever been with.  There really is no better way to experience a new city and explore neighborhoods than on a bicycle.

Visited family in Atlanta with my 13 year old daughter and 60-something mom and aunt and I wanted to see as much as we could without boring my teenager or over doing it with my mom and aunt. Enter Bicycle Tours of Atlanta, and mission accomplished! Robyn was awesome to work with and was extremely flexible when it looked like we might get rained out. I booked the popular Fall In Love With Atlanta tour, and it covered everything from local and national history, important civil rights sights, art, architecture and urban planning, the movie industry, you name it. She was so good at "reading the room"...she picked up on our interests and tailored the experience to us, all while making sure everyone was comfortable and safe. Also, all through our tour, she was saying hi to friends, neighbors and other vendors...she is known in town, she is invested in the neighborhoods and is knowledgeable and proud of her city. This tour world be the perfect thing to do as soon as you get to town, as you can get an idea of what you'd like to see more of and know more about. Robyn, her friends and associates can make recommendations on everything. This tour world also be great toward the end of your stay in Atlanta, as she can dive further into whatever you're interested in. Bottom line: a great thing to do with any age, almost any ability, get the most bang for your buck, and feel like a VIP! Highly recommend.

Wow, Libby! Thank you for that amazing review! I must admit, I had an incredible time with your family. I'm so lucky my job provides me opportunities to meet such lovely and engaging people from all over the country (and the world). I'm glad y'all were able to experience our city on such a beautiful spring day. Also happy that the 5 of us (and Richard) were able to have our own private ride together. I look forward to staying in touch regarding our mutual interests. Thank you again for taking time to write such a great review of your time on our tour. BIKE ON! Robyn Chief Happiness Officer

My teenage daughter and I took the tour with my sister and her family during a Labor Day weekend visit to Atlanta. There were 6 of us in total ranging in age from 10 to mid-40s.

We were fortunate to have Tim and Judy as our tour guides. Tim was very knowledgable. We appreciated all the different stops throughout the 8 mile trip where he shared little tidbits about the neighborhoods and the remarkable history of the area. Both Tim and Judy were friendly, safety conscious and clearly passionate about their jobs-you could tell they loved it as much as we did! We had lots of photo ops along the way (street art was the highlight) and Tim and Judy frequently offered to play photographer so we could get some family shots. We definitely plan to tour again when we head back to Georgia! Thanks for an awesome adventure!

What a wonderful 5-star review! Thank you! As the owner of the company, I feel incredibly fortunate to have such amazing people working for BTA. Tim is a veteran with us and his knowledge of Atlanta deepens every week! Judy is one of our newest team members and her spirit and natural ability to serve others is not something we can teach. Both of these folks care deeply about each guest. I'm so glad you had the opportunity to roll with them! Thank you, again, for taking the time to write this lovely review. We hope to see you again in the future. Until then, happy trails! BIKE ON! Robyn Chief Happiness Officer

My sibling wanted to see the Krog Street Tunnel (graffiti art) and I said we couldn’t go alone, but if I found a tour we would check it out.

We got to see a lot of neighborhoods and picturesque spots.

The original day we selected was predicted to be miserable and rainy, so Robyn called to se if we could reschedule for a prettier day in advance. We were flexible and the day we chose had perfect weather.

There were plenty of bathroom and snack breaks built in. If you doubt your fitness or need a little support, the ebikes were excellent.

Walt was our tour guide and he made it special with personal stories about the sites and little-known history. We will book again for a future tour.

Thanks so much for joining me on our tour -- and for posting such a nice review! I'm really pleased that you and Maya , and Angie, rolled with me. I loved showing y'all the special places that make Atlanta so unique. We try to go beyond the typical tourist stops to get a peek at the real Atlanta. You had a great day to cruise through the Krog Tunnel, check out the art on the Beltline, discover a couple of the iconic Tiny Doors, and see some of the coolest neighborhoods in the city. Thank you for pointing out that we stop often; nearly anyone can enjoy the experience. We have a few e-assist bikes like you used, as well as a well-maintained fleet of quality bikes. We love that you would consider coming on tour with us again. As I mentioned, we offer tours that focus on Civil Rights, Environmental Sustainability, Public Art, and the Tiny Doors. So we look forward to seeing you join us again. Walt Happiness Officer

I only had a few days to spend in Atlanta, and it was my first visit to the city. I'm so glad I took the Fall in Love with Atlanta tour! The guide was friendly and fun and I learned so much from him. These folks are very concerned with everyone's safety and I'd recommend these tours to anyone. Even the building where you meet to start the tour has a great history that you will learn.

My tour guide Walt was extremely kind, focused on safety, knowledgeable, and interactive. He tailored the tour to my individual interest and riding ability, and his enthusiasm for the city of Atlanta and all the subjects we covered was infectious. He sent me off with some excellent lunch recommendations available in the area too. It's a great way to start your day in Atlanta - highly recommend.

Thanks for joining me on our tour, Erik! It was a great morning, showing you around the Capitol of the South. I love your characterization of our tour being a good thing to do early in the day, or one's visit to Atlanta. We feel like it's a good way to get an orientation to the city, and give a guest ideas of where to go after our tour. I truly appreciated the opportunity to discuss current events and the developments that led to where we are today. We're fortunate to be located near several areas for lunch, and I'm glad you enjoyed my recommendation. We hope to see you during another trip to Atlanta! Walt Happiness Officer

We are SO glad that we booked this tour with Walt and Judy, our guides for the morning on a bike tour of Atlanta. From the moment we arrived, we felt like friends, because the two of them have a real gift for making people feel welcome. Walt's insights into Atlanta's history were really fascinating, and we felt we were seeing the city in a way that just wouldn't be the same in a boring old bus. Rolling along behind Walt on our lovely bikes was fun and liberating; it was the hands-down highlight of our three-day stay in Atlanta. Highly recommend!

Thank you for joining Judy and me, Jane -- and for posting such a nice review! We truly enjoyed having you and Brian on our tour. You experienced why we love Atlanta so much, and why we love showing off our home to visitors like you. We agree -- seeing the city by bike is such a great way to get a real feel for Atlanta. It's a fun way to combine a bit of exercise with a true immersion in our history and culture. We're honored that you thought our time together was the best part of your time in Atlanta. I suspect we gave you plenty of reasons to come back for more, and you can experience one of our other tour offerings. Walt Happiness Officer
