We booked the Buffalo Bike Tours Wing Tour for a group of Whitesville Central School Seniors as part of their Senior Trip Day Trip. From my first contact getting information about booking until the end of our tour Marc was a pleasure to work with. User Friendly, helpful in every respect - he helped us to craft a wonderful experience for our students. One of our students had never ridden a bike and Matthew (the tour guide in training) took this student under his wing and not only made him feel comfortable but also relieved any and all stress for all of us. Along our ride we had stops where Marc shared interesting history of the area - what was, is and will be for these parts of Buffalo. Our wing tastings were delicious and also included history tidbits of the origin of wings. We were serenaded with original tunes that included audience participation!! There was lots of laughter and many memories for a lifetime were made. I highly recommend you book a tour and have an experience that is truly outside of the box and fabulous!!

Marc was the most thoughtful and research-oriented tour guide we've ever encountered. We came for the wings, but stayed for the cultural relevance and long-latent details of Buffalo's decline and resurgence. This tour is urgently needed for those who love Buffalo and wish to gain deeper understanding into the intersection of food and civil rights. The obvious highlight is sampling the elusive and exclusive mumbo wing (previously unavailable since 1994) and talking with the late John Young's daughter, Lina.

From sharing a recipe from 750 AD to discussing the soul food connection between Black Americans and Chinese Americans, Marc makes this much more than a food tour.

We won't give anymore away. Join for yourself and see how it was never The Anchor Bar.

The whole ride was a lot of fun. Mark had a great path around Buffalo, including the MLK park, which I had never seen. Mark has put great effort into learning the history of not only chicken wings but the city of Buffalo. The chicken wing samples were a big treat too!

The Wing Ride was amazing, our tour guide Mark was so sweet and knowledgable, he really gave us a taste of the real Buffalo. It’s evident he really puts his heart into what he does and the way he was able to incorporate local talent, businesses and history into every part was so great. If you want an intimate view of the city and it’s delicious wings I definitely recommend this tour 🍗💓 -Lauren & Motaz

There was 10 of us on this trip from 13 years old to 53 years old. We all absolutely LOVED it!! You got to hear some great history about Buffalo along with a great bike ride! The best part was meeting the daughter of John Young’s (one of the first to create Buffalo wings). You get to eat them only on this tour! They were so yummy!! It was such a unique experience.
Tour guides Marc and Hannah were super knowledgeable and very friendly!! We highly recommend this tour if you like biking, wings, and learning the history of parts of Buffalo

Love history? Love Wings? This ride is for you. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time learning about the REAL history of the chicken wing and how it became popularized. We explored some of Buffalo’s most historic neighborhoods and learned so new things even for being Buffalonians ourselves! Marc was a fantastic guide. He is the owner of this business and his passion for this tour shows. My favorite part of the tour was meeting the daughter of John Young whose captivating story of her father as a Buffalo Chicken wing original (and her delicious Mumbo wings) was only just the start of a delicious 10 mile bike ride. I highly recommend this tour and will be returning to try one of the other Buffalo Bike tours soon!

I highly recommend this tour for locals, as well as visitors. Not only did we have the opportunity to eat some terrific wings, this tour also is a great way to see some of Buffalo’s less touristy neighborhoods. Marc, our tour guide, is knowledgeable, easy going, professional and accommodating. He did everything to make this tour fun and educational. Marc has done extensive research on the history of this great city and shared many interesting facts and information. The wings were incredible and we certainly had more than enough to eat. So come hungry.

The tour guide really knew her stuff and made this a safe, informative, fun tour with a little bit of whimsy and a lot of good wings. My husband got a flat just prior to the first stop and the guide had the tools and knowledge needed to fix it, if only we had brought a spare inner tube. I have 2 suggestions: maybe provide tour participants with a bib or vest of some kind, identifying them as part of a tour, so that vehicular traffic might get the hint to let us stay together at corners; and have participants take down the guide's phone number at the beginning of the tour just in case someone gets left behind. (This happened on our tour; one rider needed a different bike because the original threw a chain. He was almost left behind.)

Thanks for joining us, Tamara! We cannot do maintenance on bikes people bring on the rides, only on our own fleet. But I'm very glad Chris could help you out. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about safety vests and phone numbers...we'll consider it, along with other strategies. Glad you had a great time and hope to see you again :)

Marc knew his stuff. He told us all about the local history and how it is impacting the industry of today. He was so patient with me and my husband as we are up in age and not in the best of shape, but we wanted to do an outdoor activity. We had great weather and a fun bike ride. I would recommend this tour.

My family of four really enjoyed the Buffalo Wing Ride. We tasted several delicious buffalo wings, learned some history, and saw so much of Buffalo we never would have seen otherwise. Buffalo has great character and Mark is great ambassador for the city. The tour pace was very good. My kids are 10 and 12 and managed the 9ish miles just fine. Mark also gave us great recommendations for other places to visit in Buffalo.
