Overview
Marvel at the magnitude of the Cliffs of Moher on this unforgettable 1-hour cruise from Doolin. Soak up the scenery of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way from a unique angle, as you sail beneath the mighty 700-foot (213 meter) high sea cliffs. Along the way, glide past the 'An Branaunmore' sea stack, spot the cliff-top O'Brien's Tower and look out for Puffins, Razorbills, and Guillemots swooping along the cliffs.
What to Expect
This ferry tour departs from Doolin Pier at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5:15pm, so you can choose the cruise that fits best with your schedule.

The Cliffs of Moher Cruise sets out from Doolin Pier and follows the cliffs along by sea to experience from below these stunning heights. For a start passengers will take in amazing views of the Cliffs of Moher, The Aran Islands, and The Burren all while boarding the ferry at Doolin Pier.
After sailing for about 20 minutes or so the ferry will make a stop underneath the famous 'O'Brien's Tower' perched high atop the Cliffs at their highest point. The Cliffs of Moher rise to a magnificent height of over 214 meters (700ft) which you can really appreciate by sea. Here there will be an entertaining and informative expert on board commentary about the local history and wildlife. The Cliffs of Moher base is home to a diverse range of wildlife such as birds, basking sharks, dolphins, and seals.

The ferry will circle back by the Great Sea Stack 'An Branán Mór' which is home to Ireland’s largest mainland nesting bird colony. The Great Sea Stack plays host to thousands of sea birds that make it their summer home. The Cliffs of Moher Ferry gets you up close to view birds such as Puffins, Guillemots, and Razorbills just to name a few! Along the journey back to Doolin Pier you will pass the sea cave from 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince' and the famous surfing spot 'Aill na Searrach' where the 'Aileen' wave is caught. This one hour journey along the cliffs provides many fantastic photo opportunities and is never the same experience twice!

The trip was excellent, and provided us with the best view of the cliffs. The day we planned to visit the cliffs was extremely fogged in so we couldn't see the cliffs at all during our morning trip along the cliff's wall. Luckily the fog...More

Relatively easy walk to cliff lookouts that is supplemented by excellent presentation rooms built into hills.

Parking can be a challenge when busy, but pathways leading to various lookout point are well designed and maintained. The views are exhilarating.

Cool way to see the cliffs.

There was a little confusion at the dock and we were told to line up in one area, moved to a different dock, then moved back to the original boarding location. Not a big deal, but a little disorganized. The cruise was lovely and it...More
