I have type 2 diabetes which is under control. When I got there they told me that I would need a doctor's note in order to go on the excursion something that wasn't mention in advance. When I told them I can't get a hold of my doctor to write me a note at this time they said they had a physician on hand at the hotel. When we got to the hotel doctor he wasn't working. Needed to say they said they couldn't accommodate me. Which is very disappointing because it would have been easy enough for me to get a doctor's note in advance since I am a great health and I have kept my diabetes under control for the past 17 years. I have also been diving for past 10 years.

A bit of sticker shock at first. But so worth it. Attention to service and safety and your enjoyment was amazing. One of the best and very professional watersports activities provider in The Philippines. Between them and the El Nido watersports crew many others can learn from. Highly recommend.

I had 3 boat dive with Scotty's Action Sports Network lead by Bernie and Miki. I would strongly recommend to have the leisure dive with Scotty's. Reasons: 1. Bernie is a very very experienced Dive guide and Dive master. He is very patient and thoughtful.

Me and my girlfriend are advanced PADI divers and this was still an amazing unique experience! Would 100% recommend. Loads of fish down by the area of coral that you go down to, and the divers that are with you help to make it a truly memorable experience. Great value for money too!

Did a fun dive for the 1st time at Shang's sanctuary and it was a great experience. Herbert Alvin provided 5 star guiding service. Dive shop was organize and location was great.

Everything was so fun! I dived twice with my guide Sara. She is so kind and cute! Because it was my first dive in abroad, moreover I don’t speak English in fluent, so I was little bit nervous at first. She made me relax. She helped and told me not only about diving but also many kinds of things such as transportation and food. She took me to the “museum” in the sea. I especially love TALIMA MARINE SANCTUARY.

Since 2002 I have visited Shangri-La hotel in Cebu 8-9 times, and always found time to dive with the skilled, friendly and multilingual dive masters & instructors of Scotty’s. This year dive master Shuya-san, with his patience & enthusiasm, was specially helpful to motivate my daughter to obtain the SSI Open Water certification.

What a great adventure to have together as a family. Scotty’s took all three of us up at the same time (dad, mom and daughter) and we got to enjoy a great view and we saw a rainbow in the clouds! Our daughter loved it and said “wheeeee!”

When I decided to come to Cebu for a long weekend, I wanted to get my Open Water Certification. I did a LOT of research and after some communication with Scotty’s, I knew that’s where I wanted to be trained. From the start, Peter was amazing comparing the different courses. I was dead set on PADI, but ultimately chose SSI for my certification. There is hardly any difference, but that one felt right. I was immediately given access to the eLearning via SSI website and/or app. I was able to complete the entire coursework before arriving and it was a huge help. The facilities are great and very open. They provide equipment to cover all shapes/sizes/experience levels. I am a big guy 6’4” and about 250lbs. The only thing I needed to bring was exposure protection (shorty wetsuit or rash guard). My actual diving instructor was Alvin, and I could not give anyone a higher recommendation. His friendly attitude, vast knowledge and patient teaching style is second to none. I was fortunate to be in a 1on1 training, and that was hugely helpful. The program progressed as fast/slow as I needed. Everything was tailored to me. The pool training was at the main pool, which had enough space to accomplish the required skills before testing them in the open water. The open water dives were AMAZING. Shangri-la has a couple of spots to do your open water dives, including a sanctuary that is beautiful. I was extremely lucky in that there was a dive boat going out just before I was scheduled to complete my 3rd training dive. I got to tag along and complete some skills while thoroughly enjoying a steep cliff and swimming with a large group of sardines. That was easily the highlight. Overall the communication, facilities, staff, and training are second to none. I am so glad I chose Scotty’s and if/when I come back to Cebu, I know where I will be diving!!

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks to everyone at Scotty's Dive Center in Cebu. Got certified to dive at the beginning of this year, and my instructor Jordan was just wonderful. Being a first-time diver, I was a little apprehensive but he was encouraging and helpful every step of the way. I felt super calm after our first session and even enjoyed a bunch of laughs. We trained in the pool and then had two dives out in the open water, which was so beautiful. Everyone at the shop was very helpful and friendly too! If you're looking for a place to learn SCUBA, Scotty's is a great place to go. You are in great hands over there, and learning diving has changed my life! This is an experience I won't soon forget. Had two dives. Sarah was the best. Easy&peasy;) Talima marine sanctuary and Tumbuli dive sites. Recommended.

Very well-run dive shop. Special thanks to instructor Alvin, who explained course materials clearly, identified my issues and helped me to improve my skills. Moreover, Alvin is very patient and kind, and knows how to help students to relax underwater and enjoy diving, which is very helpful for beginners like me. Would definitely come back to further improve my skills.
