About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Erma R0 contributionsLove Cebu city tours professionalismOur driver Dino and tour guide Edith from Cebu city tours were excellent. They took us back and forth the long drive from Cebu to oslob very safely. Edith secured our belongings and didn’t have to worry about anything but to enjoy the activities. We surely had an excellent time and made lots of memories. The whale sharks and the scoop of sardines and island hopping experience was worth the money. It was so much fun!Written 9 January 2025
- Frankie H0 contributionsSnorkeling with whale sharksSeeing the whale sharks up close was incredible! They are such majestic and graceful creatures! A lot of people were there but I still felt the whole experience was respectful to the animals, and the whale sharks did not appear distressed in any way. Tumalog falls were incredible!! Could have stayed there all day!Written 7 January 2025
- linsingc0 contributionsNOT a Tour. Two steps above a scam. How this package managed to be listed as featured on Trip Advisor is beyond me. This is NOT a tour. It would be accurate to describe this as a self-service day trip with a driver; the company will just charge you (in my case as a solo traveler) 2.5 times the cost of actually hiring the driver, add the word "tour", and pocket the difference. It is two steps above a scam. You will be given no context on where you are going and why it significant, unless you do self-service research beforehand, because when you're dropped off at each site there is no tour guides there, either, and most of the sites do not have any preamble describing why they matter. I don't know about you, but I come to Trip Advisor specifically when I do not know the place and want a tour to give me context. If I wanted a private driver to go to a list of places that I have to do research on myself, I would just find that on my own. This package does not belong on Trip Advisor, as it actively subverts what you'd expect out of a tour package listed here. At the minimum, the with-tour-guide option should be the default, not an extra hidden option that you only discover after it's too late to make any changes. My money is already spent (wasted) on this package, but you, my friend, can save yours by skipping on this.Written 30 December 2024
- AndrewDM1122990 contributionsFantastic tour with great tour operator! Our tour was fantastic from start to finish. It covered all of the sites we wanted to see on Cebu. Our driver Melchor was friendly and knowledgeable, and our tour guide Noel in Oslob & Sumilon was very helpful and flexible. We added a scuba dive at the Moalboal tuna run which was fantastic. I highly recommend this company.Written 29 December 2024
- Q9629IAdanielg0 contributionsWhale sharks, sardines, and sea turtlesLong day from Lapu-Lapu with pick up at 3:30 am and drop off at 8 pm. Titing did an amazing job driving and was very friendly and accommodating. Ellen did a great job coordinating for the whale sharks, breakfast, and lunch in Oslob and even added a side tour to Tumalog Falls since we had a bit of a wait for the whale sharks. Falls were beautiful. Whale sharks were amazing. Probably over 10 whale sharks up close and great pictures with the GoPro we used from Cebu Tours. Follow on trip to Pescador was good. First stop at sardine run was interesting with the big school of sardines. We also saw 2 turtles there. Next stop was at Pescador island coral reef. Not the best reef but still a good amount of fish to see. Overall great trip and Cebu Tours did a wonderful job corresponding promptly throughout the process.Written 26 December 2024
- jadiesmithx0 contributionsExceptional customer serviceSo I don’t usually write reviews but the experience and customer service we received was exceptional. We are currently on our honeymoon and have travelled with our toddler who is 1 year and 11 months. The tour itself was stunning and an unforgettable experience, everything flowed smoothly and taken care of and all we had to do was have fun and make memories. However, it was our driver & tour guides who made this tour a truly unforgettable experience. Our driver Abam was so polite, respectful, and truly kind hearted, we thank you for his efforts. Our tour guide in Oslob was Saicy (apologies if I spelt this wrong) and she went above and beyond for us and we are truly grateful. She looked after our little boy for us so we could enjoy the whale shark diving together (something we thought we couldn’t do due to our toddler) so we are truly grateful for this. Our tour guide in Kawasan falls was so friendly, kind and helpful, apologies I forgot his name! But he took the most stunning photos of us as a family at the falls which happen to be one of my favourites of all time. These 3 people made our trip unforgettable and you are a real asset to the Cebu Tours team. I already cannot wait to come back to book another tour! I will be recommending this company to anyone who looks to book a tour!Written 26 December 2024
- Tino_A_19750 contributionsVery good, but can be improvedThe day trip was enjoyable overall, but there are areas that could be enhanced. Firstly, the itinerary overlooked informing us about the church's dress code, which unfortunately led to us missing the visit. Providing this information beforehand would have been beneficial for our preparedness. Secondly, despite pre-booking a vegetarian meal for my wife, we encountered difficulty in locating a restaurant that catered to this dietary preference. It was evident that the guide was not adequately prepared for this. Despite these shortcomings, the trip was pleasant, and we would recommend it. With minor adjustments, this experience could be flawless.Written 26 December 2024

- d0ming0y0 contributionsUnforgettable tour!Excellent tour. As a couple, we were privately from Cebu City to the south. Swim with the sharks has been one of my best life experiences. We really loved the shining tiny island in front of the shark and the huge Tumalog falls. Simar, the driver arrived on time and gave us an pleasant trip go and back. Diane the tour guide showed us everything and she was full time offered to help us and give us few tips about the island. 101% recommend.Written 18 December 2024

- HarryLSH0 contributionsExciting whale sharks and sardine run under crystal clear water in CebuEarly pick up from Hotel, 330am on 7th Dec to Oslob for whale sharks viewing and we have priority access to boat due to senior status. Nice and helpful boatmen who help to care for us and did video on the encounter with sharks. Tamalog falls is not so great and water not clear but the bike to and fro the falls was exciting, faster to reach the falls. They charged 50 peso for return but safety was compromised as no helmets provided. After early lunch provided around 1030h, we travelled to Moalboal for our trip to Pescador island for snorkeling for corals, fishes, sea horses and star fishes. Then headed for beachfront to view sardines run and turtle near shore.Written 9 December 2024
- Cruiser508129843890 contributionsPrivate Day TourWe would like to thank you for a great service. We all like to commend our TG Jonathan and our driver Cesar. You really assigned us good people. Jonathan is very well knowlegeable of not only the places we went to but the history of Cebu and the country as well. He made the trip worthwhile. He made our moods light as well as our spirits high esp during traffic. Thank you so much Jonathan. Great job!!! As for Cesar, he took good care of us by his driving prowess. He really knows the ins and outs and very familiar with routes esp when there is traffic. He is very polite and he assisted us so well. Thank you so much Cesar. You both have good corrdination, too. Kudos! We did overtime in this trip because of traffic as well. But we all enjoyed and House of Lechon's awesome. Thank you all once again and we will keep you in mind when Cebu pops out.Written 7 December 2024
- GrandTour648109433530 contributionsWill definitely book with them againOur experience with them from inquiring till end of our stay in Cebu was outstanding. Day 1 airport pick up to airbnb. Bobby was our driver. Very friendly and very engaging. He is not shy to have small talk which turns into a very long story telling about Cebu. We learned a lot about Cebu from him within a very short ride to our airbnb Day 2 PRIVATE: Oslob Whale Shark Snorkeling + Pescador Island with Sardines & Turtle Driver: Allan - same as Bobby, friendly and not shy to engage in conversation Tour guide : Glaize - very nice person. Very patient. Me and my sister bombarded her with silly questions yet she always answer each and every question with a smile. Whale shark snorkleing: one of a kind experience. The boatmen where nice even helped us taking photos and videos under water Pescador island: outstanding experience. Saw a lot of sardines and had experience upclosed encounter with a turtle. The boatmen were very nice to look for the turtles immediately after we dropped off the water and they took me to places were a lot of coral reefs Day 2 Charter service within the city Driver i think his name was Jomz. He is okay. Day 3 Private: Bohol Countryside Day Tour with Loboc River Cruise from Cebu w/ Tour guide Bohol guide: Noel and outstanding guide. He has a lot of input to each and every locations we went to Floating restaurant: really goood foood!!! And unique experience Chocolate hills: i loved the ATV while looking at chocolate hills just bring cash so you can do the ATV. Bohol is a very nice place I suggest to spend time rather a day tour. Day 4 Bantayan Island Day Tour with Virgin Island Hopping Tour guide: Not that impressed with him. We liked the tricycle driver more, he acted more of a tour guide. Day 5 charter service going uphill. Driver:i think his name is Abam. His approach is very professional but still we felt very friendly with him Day 6 airpot drop off. The driver was Ricard. My mom didnt like the driver he didn’t even try to initiate helping with our luggages. Good thing the security guards where we stay at helped with the luggages. Overall their service was outstanding their team were superb except Richard and the tour guide in Bantayan Island.Written 3 December 2024
- Alan_Coligado0 contributionsExcellent coverage of the points of interest in CebuWe thoroughly enjoyed the private tour of Cebu's highlights on Nov 18, 2024. Our guide and driver Wilson agreed for us to curate the original itinerary, which enabled us to spend more time at the places which really interested us, such as The Tops lookout and the Yap Sandiego ancestral house. This resulted in a more personalised and memorable experience.Written 19 November 2024

Jan 2020 • Family
Our family is two adults and one child 4 3/4 years old. First I was little worried because I booked and no place to put hotel name during booking and took few hours before they answered my message. The car to pick us up at hotel was right on time maybe little early. Once we go to the port you just have to trust the process and things work out. Getting into the boat was little scary but our guide took my child no issues and made sure me and the wife got on board without falling!! We really enjoyed the snorkeling parts however the time on the beach was boring to our family. There wasn’t anybody else on the beach that’s why I guess we didn’t enjoy it. The lunch k ok n the boat was really good for us. Fish, shrimp, pork, fruit, rice and drinks. The only bad part of our trip was when we returned from the boat it took almost 1 hour to get our car back to the hotel. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve given 5 stars.
Our guide that was with us was awesome the whole trip!!

Hi, thank you so much for your feedback and we are very sorry about the delay of the driver on the afternoon, you might have arrived the port earlier than schedule so we have to call the driver and rush him to the port so you will not wait longer. But anyway, we appreciate your feedback and in this way, we can improve our service in the future. Hope to see you again in Cebu with our other tour packages.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I'm sure there are more premium snorkeling experiences out there (depending on how much experience you have going on snorkeling tours) so if you're one of those people, I wanted to give the proper relative rating...but for anything that was lacking or not up to your standards, Obet and the deckhands (Warren and Julius I believe were their names) made up for it and then some with their level of attentiveness and service. Here's an example of how attentive the deckhands were...one of them noticed on several occasions that I was either having issues with my mask or that I was lagging behind the others or that I was ready to get back to the boat. Each time, they were right beside me to even help fix my gear or shuttle me through the water (he had fins). That made a huge impression on me and is worth gold when it comes to an experience.
We can't speak highly enough about Obet. On our trip home, we asked about some local favorite foods and he even stopped at a couple unique bibinka and turon stands for us to grab some treats on the way home.
This was one of our highlight trips during our visit to Cebu and I highly recommend this business for their service and attentiveness alone!

As someone already said, I wish I have done better job at reading all of the reviews before booking and not just relying on this company being number one in the area. Few things were an unpleasant surprise. Firstly, booked this as a solo traveller. The cost is significant for what it was. First shock was finding a boat to be huge for carrying just one customer. I shared same boat with 20 other people on other tours. It was very loud and went extremely slow. When I asked why was the boat running so slow, the answer was it was running on one engine. I imagine to save fuel costs. It was painful. For islands so close it took half hour to make it to each. This is my week three in various areas of Philippines and those boats go much much faster usually. A second big disappointment was learning on arrival that tide was very low. This meant lesser quality of experience at each of the three stops. First one, had significant sea grass floating on the surface of the water, and despite having a lot of fish to see, having grass stuck in your face, body and hair was terrible. Second stop had absolutely nothing to do but snorkel close to the end of jetty in a very small and shallow fenced off area. Great for children and people with little experience, but was a bit of a waste for me. I was happy to move on. A third stop could have been skipped all together. I was not going to purchase sea food, nor could I swim there at all, as tide was still super low. So after sitting in the heat for half hour I was glad to head back to shore. Being private tour, with no time restrictions on my end, I would have expected an experienced tour operator to suggest later departure in alignment with tide times, to ensure a better client experience. But no one cares. Additionally, contracting a more compact boat for small groups is a better environmental choice, and would prevent wasting a lot of time on crawling your way to the islands. I had very little interaction with my guide after the first few minutes. He largely left me to fend for myself while he sat in the back of the boat with the crew. The crew did not engage at all. Having done other private tours in this country, this one was by far most awkward. Please take time to consider your choices.

Hi, we are very sorry about your experience. About the boat, the 2 engines which will run the boat might make it faster but it will be more noisy than having one engine. Also, it will depend on the availability of the boat and captain, and its a random assignment everyday, we apologize for that, the driver and boat could have explained this better. On the islands, we are very sorry about that, tides changes, but if low tides, the water in Mactan is very shallow, if its low tide in the morning, the whole morning and early afternoon will be low tide, and later in the afternoon and evening, it will then be high tide. However, you can swim in Nalusuan island near the bridge where it is a little bit deeper and where the fish sanctuary is located. On the other island, Gilutungan island, you will be brought to the fish sanctuary where it is deep and you can find a cliff there where you can actually swim with the fishes.
Again, we are very sorry about what happen and the expectations are not meet. We hope we can serve you better again in the future.

Personally I rushed in booking this and didn't take the time to research other tours or read the reviews left by other which was my mistake. I was quite undecided as to whether or not to leave a review about our experience but thought I would have wanted to know. Cebu was effected by water damage from a typhoon last year and parts of the island are still recovering, it is not a first world country but I don't think it's right to expect people who have already paid to then give more money on the day. We brought our own snorkeling sets and it was commented on that "these are expensive' and that because we came from Australia 'we have money'... it became very uncomfortable for my partner and I who had already given 1500p which was our emergency cash.
The weather on the day of our trip took a very bad turn and we could not see two of the islands which were part of the tour. I can agree with the other reviews in saying the boat itself is poorly maintained and while you may have it to yourself it's not worthwhile when the seats are broken and the engine makes an extreme amount of noise. You could see some of the other tour boats going to the same islands and those boats were clearly better maintained but were booked through the hotel chains and had multiple groups onboard.
At the first island we visited there were many fish and I do have to thank the younger guy working because he was quite helpful.

Hi Daphne, we are very sorry for your experience. Yes the islands were damaged by the typhoon and you can see corals that are still recovering as you already know that it will take years to recover. However, the fish sanctuary parts are still the highlights of the tours where you can also see fishes in those islands. Also, if the weather is bad and the water is shallow, it is really hard for the boat to dock to the islands but the boatman will recommend you to do snorkeling in the snorkeling spot near the island. Again, we apologize that this tour does not meet your expectation.
About the boat, since you are just 2 in the group, we will use the boat that has a capacity of 10 to 15 persons with 2 engines, that is why its is noisy than those can carry 40 passengers, but these boats are checked yearly by the tourism office and approved to be used in the island hopping activities.
Again, we apologize for your experience and we hope to make it up with you some day with better tours. Thank you.

May 2024 • Friends
We were quite surprised and a bit disappointed that the tour operator only offered very low quality snorkel masks (too small for my friend) and that diving fins were not included. At the first snorkelling sppot we were offered to rent Fins for an on-charge :O. Having no proper fins included didn't help for the strong rips that had to be navigated in the 2 snorkel spots (we hoped to get 3 spots). It also seems that the tour operates at a snorkel track that is daily frequented by 1000 - 1500 people, all moved from one spot to the other, dropped in and then left to navigate between lots of new ships coming in or leaving ships going out. The quality of reef / corals was quite average, grey and rocky and the areas for snorkelling were fenced in too. Some nice fish are to be seen but overall and for the price of this offering we felt that we have been underdeliverd to.

This is a 3.5 = Pretty good. the guides were kind and resourceful. For the price this was a lovely way to spend the afternoon, the snorkling and island were beautiful. The guides did not actually know much about the islands or the environment, but were good people who need jobs. The boat was leaking diesel and they had to repair the engine several times. I didn't blame them, but the tour operator definitely needs more sustainable boats, it just does not make sense to send gas leaking, oily boats out into such beauty. Tourists - take a bit more time and find the highest rated green and in terms of guide training!

No gimmicks, just straight fun to perhaps the best underwater snorkeling visuals I have ever seen, who knew snorkeling in the Philippines was do good, I didn't. First off, my driver/guide was Simar, a great guy. Took me to the boat, three people working the boat took me to the first island, handed me my mask/snorkeling and I jumped in. Wow, the most fish ever surrounded me including big green beautiful Parrotfish. Snorkeling at the second island was just a wonderful. The third island is white sandy beach and relax before lunch. It was a great day. This tour is not fancy, the boat is not modern, in fact a piece of the bamboo support came loose during a wavy ride back but all was good, just seemed all like the Philippino way; raw but fun.

It was a great day. Unfortunately, the description doesn't quite fit. We only visited 2 islands. We were able to do some snorkeling off the 3rd island mentioned. We were also able to snorkel on the 2nd island and the 3rd island had a sandbank.
It was beautiful, but it's a shame that we were only on two islands.
To write "incl. admission" is wrong. Snorkeling tens of meters away probably didn't cost an admission fee. Unfortunately, that spoils an otherwise wonderful day.

Hi, we are sorry if we are not clear on the description of the package. If you mean the Gilutungan island, where you can see the fishes, it was the fish sanctuary area there and there is a fee in swimming in the sanctuary area. Again, we apologize for the misunderstanding.

The operator had messaged us a day before with the details of the driver who would be picking up. Pickup was on time. The whole tour was also pretty well managed. Food was decent. The only minor issue I'd was the noise of the engine. This has the engine in the middle and not at the back like some other boats and since the engine doors were open, it was pretty loud and it was hard to communicate with my friends

Unfortunately our trip had already started badly, they came to pick us up at the hotel half an hour late, then the driver took us to the wrong port so we wasted more time getting to the right one. We set off with two kids who didn't know English so they didn't say a word for the entire excursion, not even the names of the islands. The sea crossing in the rain and rough seas, we were soaked. We arrive at the first point where the fish should be and there was practically nothing. We moved to the second island and they even just made us go around the island without snorkeling. The third white beach island is nothing special, just fishermen selling and cooking fish for tourists but we haven't tried it.
In all this only starfish that are everywhere here on any beach.
Upon returning, having explained our dissatisfaction to the tour operator, we were told that they had done the best they could and that with the bad weather there were no fish to be seen (fortunately there was also an hour of sunshine throughout the morning).
Wasn't it therefore appropriate to postpone the excursion or ask ourselves if we wanted to do it anyway?
Not recommended given the very high price for being in the Philippines.

Hi we are sorry about your experience. The coast guard knows the weather so if they cancel the tour with their official advisory from the Pag-Asa (weather monitoring agency in the PH), then we will cancel the tour. However, it was just a rain that is not expected as it was sunny day in the morning, so we proceeded with the tour. Also, the Hilutungan & Nalusuan island is where you can see the fishes specifically in their sanctuary. The caohagan island is where the white sand beach is located where you can relax at the beach. The fisherman who are selling seashells are just locals in the island, you can disregard them if you dont want to buy. Some other tourists will buy from them as they are fresh shells in the island. We leave it to the guests if you will buy or not. Again, we apologize for what happen.

It is a typical boat used for these kind of outings here. Floor has matting to reduce slipping and they have life vests on board.
