We bought a bag of bananas and headed up the hill. The macaque monkeys are beautiful creatures but they are very aggressive. We got some good pictures but left feeling a little intimidated and my girlfriend was nearly bitten.

Please don’t feed the Macaques monkeys peanuts! They eat fruit! They love bananas, apples, all kinds of fruit...peanuts are bad for them The person selling peanuts has no idea! Careful they are wild ...it’s a gang. Drop and go!

I think cheapest way would be is to bargain w/the taxi driver outside of the hotel as oppose to going thru the hotel.

They're wild monkeys. Of course they're not vaccinated. I wouldn't take such a young child. As I mentioned in my review they can become quite nasty. Definitely not a place for a toddler.

We went mid afternoon and it was HOT but monkeys were out. I would try for morning or early evening and we took a taxi and the driver knew exactly where to go.
