I was so surprised at how the beach in Thailand recently is so clean. Here at Nai Harn Beach, the sand is so soft . I felt like walking on a carpet. It's such an enjoyable moment sunbathing and swiming.

Spent a lazy morning at Nai Harn beach. The beach is only 10 mins from Rawai and Chalong. Clean sand with lovely water. It can get a bit rough at times in the summer. There are a few shops and places to get drinks etc...More

We chanced upon this beach by accident. It has lovely views and is great for swimming (except during Monsoon) Restaurant close by. We loved our time here

So much to see and great for swimming. You get all types and plenty of food and drink stalls. Lots of boxing training there also on Saturdays. Great for people watching ... ticks all the boxes.

There was a naked man there which I wasn't too thrilled about since young children were about, plus this is Thailand and the man was a white European older person. Otherwise the beach was a little bit unclean with trash in the bushes which is...More

Beautiful beach, wonderful views. No resorts on the beachfront as there is a temple behind the beach. Lots of good local restaurants nearby and some upscale resorts and restaurants just off the beach. A must go to beach in Phuket

Wow clear water and life guards present. Plenty of local food stalls here further up by the trees. They have chairs and umbrellas for hire as well. When we visited it had nice waves for a touch of body or bird surfing. Plenty of parking...More

Even during the monsoon season, the waves here are calmer and nice to swim. However, if not driving, then coming here will be tough

The Windmill Resort is near Yanui Beach, you can walk there, but Nai Harn Beach is about 4 Kim over a large hill, if you are planning to go there daily you will need transport, as this is a quiet area of Phuket and no Tuk... More

We did this cruise and hired a local travel guide to give us a day tour. She met us at the jetty and her driver (in a nice air conditioned 7 seater vehicle all day) took us around Phuket. Was well worth the money as you get... More

The short answer is you can but I would not bother. The water was fairly clean but I do not believe there is anything to see. If you just want the practice, great.
