Not very old - initially built in 1879 but demolished during Japanese era and rebuilt in 1930. It's a quiet place with some gardens. The temple has 4D cinema which shows the journey of Confucius and the history of the temple. The temple is close...More

The Confucius temple is a richly decorated temple. It is close to Bao'an temple and can easily be visited along with it. The temple contains a variety of ceramic decorations. A very relaxing place to visit.

An easy walk from Yuanshan MRT station, this somewhat austere Confucius Temple is very simple and peaceful. A visit here should be combined with the nearby Daoist Bao'an Temple on the next block.

This is a lovely quiet place to visit and learn more about Confucianism. Entrance is free. There is a pool with turtles sunning themselves on top of some rocks while carp fish swim below. Children would like this. There is a 4D cinema which involves...More

Very informative but somehow a little dull. Certainly worth visiting, however, along with the two other adjacent temples. The Pen Pond has very cute turtles who were sunning themselves on a rock. There are some nice shady spots to rest and take it all in.
