The postcard view - a shrine on the hill with waterfall underneath. The parking is always busy at the viewpoint and I must say the view is impressive. The shrine itself (locally known as Changchun Shrine) is nothing spectacular - it can be reached on...More

Very beautiful shrine and its waterfall by looking at from far away. Actually there is nothing much to see once you visit the shrine.

Beautiful shrine dedicated to road workers who lost their lives during construction of the road. We were not allowed to enter when visiting but the views from outside are amazing.

This small shrine is dedicated to the workers who lost their lives during the construction of East-West main road in Taroko area. The contrast of high mountain and a small shrine is like a traditional Chinese painting. Unfortunately, the path to the shrine was temporarily...More

you walk into a tunnel in the side of the mountain to get there. The temple is fairly simple but lots of fun getting there

Unfortunately due to construction crew, equipment, and work this scenic site was not as magical, but I think future visitors will be pleased! This was a short, quick stop. We were underwhelmed due to work in progress, but definitely worth the stop.

One of the first scenic points encountered as you enter the park, this shrine is perched on a cliff-bottom overlooking boulder-strewn valley. Decades ago, a great landslide wiped out the original, and it has been rebuilt several times. An underground spring emerges beneath the structure,...More

You first see this shrine you are blown away by the view from across the river. Its a nice walk and the serenity of the area is appreciated when you see the shrine up close. Well worth a visit.

This place was very beautiful even from the bottom of the many steps I could only imagine that the views from the shrine would be spectacular

Hello It was under renovation plus some maintenance work around it. I would suggest you check with the tourist office before that. I hope this was helpful. Yours Hamid
