This majestic shrine honors the Republic of China's war dead. Marvel at the soldiers' precision at the changing of the guard ceremony that occurs every hour.

Very impressive complex. Unfortunately we didn't have time to see much beyond the first big gate, but would have liked to.

The changing of the guard is the main attraction, but the place itself is beautiful, with the stunning shrine complemented by the landscaping and setting.

Saw a few of these shrines around the country. They are very peaceful, and this one is especially nice with the bright red pillars. There was a changing of the guard while we were there.
