We hiked, with a guide, through the mountain to get to the Temple. The hike is not for the timid..steep inclines, rough road and breathlessness at the end...completely worth it though. Took the ground transport back to the resort. The temple is more of a...More

This mountain temple is filled with tons of historical artifacts and history. But the most impressive thing about it is the stunning view of the Maekok river Valley.

The temple are is quite big and you have to be prepared to walk up for a while. There are different levels with buddhas. From the stupa-level (with restaurant) and from the standing buddha you have an amazing view over the village and the valley!
