Kao Yai NP struck us with an overwhelming wildlife. We had the opportunity to visit the park with an excellent guide (ask for Jay-Jay, she is top) who managed to find so many different species of wildlife. We saw elephant, gibbon, baboon, hornbill, but she...More

Free for Thai’s but despite being in Thailand and paying taxes for 8 years, and having a local council Thai ID card, they still charged me as a foreigner 400 baht to get in. What a rip-off. Is there any other country where it’s okay...More

We went to Khao Yai National Park with Greenleaf Tours. The guide Nine was excellent. He managed to spot hornbills, gibbons, snakes, lizards etc.The walk was not very difficult, and would suit most people.

A certain part of the trek is challenging. Steep stairs (7x) at 45Deg gradient.(waterfall area). Some trekkers go for forest exploration, floral & bird watching, Big area, require a day to cover fully the whole national park.

I was behind excited to see my first wild elephant! As a nature lover, this is a must for thailand. Tons of diversity and a dense jungle only hours away from Bangkok!

We went with an organised trip which was rather expensive since you are going into the rainforest so may not see much. It is more of a park for people to enjoy the forest and seeing animals is a bonus. We saw a few animals...More

Writing this reviewing primarily to recommend not visiting when it's a Thai holiday (obvious). We did drive through on New Year's Eve and essentially going from one end to the other. But to help other "foreigners" who visit, good to know a few items: (1)...More

We liked the full day tour because it was more relaxed. There is so much to see! We also had lunch in the park which was very nice.
