Awesome tour! We did this on our first day in Belize, you do have to have some fitness for this, there is a hike to the tour and then a short swim into the cave, and some climbing and wading through water in the cave....More

ATM cave is amazing but my bad score goes to guides who step over the line. You can almost see sweating over the artifacts. Also there are careless tourists almost walking over artifacts when I was there so I can imagine what can happen ever...More

This place is awesome. Since there are so many reviews already, I probably don’t need to elaborate. So just do it! (As long as your comfortable with water.)

This is a MUST do. It can be a little pricy, but it was incredible. The hike, the wading through water, climbing -- man it was fun. You need to be in a little bit of shape to be able to make it. There are...More

I read about the ATM cave and how it was a must do when in San Ignacio. I read a lot of reviews and there were some that indicated it was a difficult trip and others that said it wouldn't be a problem. The answer...More

Our tour guide was Francisco Reymundo with Ancient Cultural Tours and he was AMAZING! Not only did he lead our group safely in and out of the cave, he was filled with knowledge and jokes! He kept the tour interesting and fun the entire time!...More

We booked the tour through the lonely planet website. They accepted our 8 almost 9 year old children of our party. You have to walk some before you get to the cave and cross 3 rivers. One you have to swim ( but they have...More

We visited ATM through a tour set up by our hotel (San Ignacio Resort Hotel). Yes, you absolutely have to go with a guide. It was just my friend and I and our extremely knowledgeable guide (Renan). ATM is such a unique experience, be sure...More

This was an amazing adventure that I cannot recommend enough. We had to swim across the river at multiple points and it had been raining so the trail was very muddy. Once we reached the entrance we took one more little swim and then it...More
